Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 449: Chapter 389: Anti-Ancestorman Weapon

Since Lu Li actively announced that he had no intention to govern Earth, the majority of people in countries worldwide believed him.

However, there were still quite a few who did not believe Lu Li’s words, thinking he was using the strategy of retreating to advance. They believed he was trying to make the global populace think a gamma-ray burst was indeed about to hit the solar system, thereby triggering the end of the world.

This group of disbelievers largely consisted of high-ranking officials from various countries.

Of course, they themselves were not entirely sure whether the Ancestor was really retreating to advance.

Therefore, under George’s auspices, a grand video meeting was held, attended by the top leaders of each nation.

George looked at the people in the video with a grave expression, his tone slow and heavy, ”Up to this point, I have always believed that the Ancestor’s goal in doing this is to govern Earth. What are your thoughts?”

”Let me share my view.” As soon as the elder known as the Great Emperor spoke, everyone’s gaze turned to him. ”In my opinion, George’s speculation is possible. However, up to now, the Ancestor has shown no intent to conquer the world. So, we cannot fully treat this speculation as evidence. Otherwise, we might anger the Ancestor, and I believe that even if the forces of the 192 of us present here were combined, we would not be his match, possibly even inviting national disaster.”

”The Great Emperor is right.”

”After all, speculation is only speculation; we have no direct evidence.”

”What if we anger the Ancestor? What do we do if he becomes furious then? He stated clearly on social media that no one is allowed to spread rumors about him governing the globe, or else the entire family of the rumor-monger will be killed.”

Many agreed with the Great Emperor’s opinion.

George seemed to have anticipated the situation.

He deliberately waited for everyone to express their views before he spoke softly, ”As the saying goes, words alone are not proof. You may not believe just because I raise this speculation.”

The Great Emperor frowned, ”George, do you have actual evidence?”

Others also looked at George’s face curiously.

George did not directly answer the question but instead clapped his hands.

The next moment, everyone saw a middle-aged woman in the video inserting a USB drive into a computer.

At this point, George moved his chair to the side, ”Please look at the evidence.”

Huh?

Do you actually have evidence?

The Great Emperor and the other 192 leaders were quite surprised.

They all wanted to know what kind of evidence George would present.

Hence, everyone in the video conference stopped speaking and stared firmly at the computer screen.

The middle-aged woman pressed the play button, and immediately a scene appeared in the video, seemingly in the night sky.

The deep night appeared without clues.

Just as someone was about to ask in confusion.

Suddenly, amidst a flash of light, a gigantic mecha emerged.

This mecha appeared to be fifty to sixty meters tall, resembling Megatron from ”Transformers.”

That’s not the scariest part.

The most terrifying thing was that this mecha initially did not fly fast, but as it ascended to the high cloud layer, it suddenly shot towards cosmic space at a blistering speed, disappearing from sight.

The speed was incredibly fast, seemingly faster than a rocket!

Normally, a rocket’s speed is about 7.6 to 10.8 kilometers per second.

Now this mecha flew faster than a rocket, implying it at least reached the second cosmic speed, maybe even the third cosmic speed?

Everyone was slightly stunned, truly unable to imagine such a powerful mecha existing in the world.

George’s ”narration” slowly rose, ”This footage was captured by a Huaxia astrophysics vlogger, filmed in Su City, and the Ancestor happens to reside in Su City, so it goes without saying whose mecha this is.”

The Great Emperor and others nodded slightly.

The current technology on Earth simply cannot create such a formidable mecha.

There’s only one possibility, that this mecha belongs to the Ancestor.

After all, the opponent had shown a very impressive ”No Beef No. 1” mecha before.

Presenting an even more massive new mecha makes perfect sense.

George continued, ”According to the latest information I received, this gigantic mecha can actually reach the third cosmic speed while flying within Earth. Moreover, our space satellites detected its movement towards the Moon, with even more frightening flight speeds. According to the analysts, it can fly about three thousand kilometers per second!”

”What?”

”Three thousand kilometers per second?”

”Oh, my God, then its flight speed is over 8,800 Machs, one percent of light speed!”

The Great Emperor and everyone else were greatly shocked.

George slowly asked, ”Please think about it—if a mecha with such fast flight speed wanted to attack countries around the world, who among you could stop it... no, not even stop, but who could discover its trace?”

At these words, the Great Emperor and everyone else fell silent.

A flight speed of three thousand kilometers per second is something current Earth technology cannot detect its trace, let alone defend against.

In other words, as long as the Ancestor wished, he could control this super-sized mecha and have the complete capability to annihilate any country or individual on Earth swiftly and silently.
