Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 440: Chapter 382: Found a Solution

In one night, Lu Li had been focused on assembling the mecha.

During this time, ”Sun God” No. 1 returned twice and replenished a lot of the energy consumed in assembling the mecha and simulating a solution to the gamma-ray burst.

Even with this, by dawn, the energy in Lu Li’s body was still just below forty percent.

Fortunately, at this moment, ”Sun God” No. 1 returned once again, restoring his energy to over fifty percent.

After a night of ”battle,” the results were quite remarkable.

Lu Li had already assembled five hundred ”Savior” mecha.

”According to the law of conservation of energy, in a full state, I’m roughly equivalent to one-tenth of a sun. Assembling these mecha consumed about twenty percent of my energy, around sixty percent went to simulating and deducing, and the remaining ten percent was used for my daily operational consumption.”

My super perception can indeed cover half a sun.

But the actual ”power” is only one-tenth of a sun.

In brief, if Lu Li does nothing, he would deplete a sun’s worth of energy in one hundred days.

Without ”Sun God” collecting energy, it’s challenging even to sustain oneself.

Although analyzing from last night’s mecha assembly state, the energy within my body is relatively sufficient, the unfortunate thing is, the mecha assembling speed is just so fast and cannot be increased.

Assembling five hundred mecha in one night is already at the limit of what I can bear.

That is, in one day, I can at most assemble one thousand mecha.

This requires a state of continuous work without rest.

Lu Li calculated the arrival time of the gamma-ray burst, ”That is to say, the energy expended on assembling five hundred mecha is equivalent to one-eightieth of a sun; one thousand equates to one-fortieth of a sun. I have thirty-three days left, with the last day definitely set aside to recover energy to maintain full status, leaving only thirty-two days to focus on assembling mecha.”

At the current pace, without wasting a moment, the final number of ”Savior” mecha should be thirty-two thousand five hundred.

The energy consumed to assemble so many mecha is approximately equivalent to four-fifths of a sun.

Theoretically, the energy to assemble these mecha is just a tenth less than the gamma-ray burst energy that would continuously impact Earth for eight seconds, seemingly capable of offsetting its massive force.

But in reality, it’s not calculated like this.

The mecha’s ”photon energy cannon” can release only about twenty percent of the energy used for their assembly.

The primary reason is that a significant portion of the energy consumption is utilized in the materials of the ”Savior” mecha itself, converting energy into photon energy and driving high-speed flight, as well as energy conversion.

Whether generating antimatter annihilation to release energy, converting energy into photon energy, or driving high-speed flights, or even the high-strength mech materials, accumulating these all consume a lot of energy.

Lu Li positioned the ”battlefield” in cosmic space, naturally requiring the mecha to have these essential conditions.

”Fortunately, my ’Sun God’ can also annihilate material to convert into energy, otherwise, relying solely on absorbing the free energy of cosmic space wouldn’t be enough to make up for the loss.”

Lu Li couldn’t help but sigh; for the gamma-ray burst, he was truly at his wit’s end and was putting in one hundred percent of his effort.

Even so, finally, the photon energy that the thirty-five thousand mecha could release simultaneously is only about one-fifth of the sun.

Compared with the gamma-ray burst, equivalent to 0.9 solar energy over eight seconds, the gap is immense.

”The mecha can probably only offset one-fifth of the gamma-ray burst’s power; how should the remaining four-fifths of the gamma-ray burst’s strength be handled?”

Lu Li frowned in thought.

Initially, he didn’t really have any ideas.

However, when he was about to send ”Sun God” No. 1 to gather more energy, a spark of inspiration suddenly flashed in his mind.

”Hey, wait!” Lu Li’s eyes flickered slightly, silently pondering, ”I might have thought of a way to solve the problem of the gamma-ray burst.”

Currently, the energy he possesses is equivalent to one-tenth of the sun, and supplementing it is indeed a troublesome matter.

If...

Lu Li means if.

If he, on the premise of nearly exhausted energy, could absorb the energy of the gamma-ray burst to replenish himself?

If that’s possible, then cooperating with the mecha, the probability of solving the gamma-ray burst problem is very high.

”I am currently in my prime, equivalent to one-tenth of a sun, but that doesn’t mean it will be the same in thirty-three days.”

Lu Li knows he’s in a constant state of evolution every day.

In thirty-three days, his body will become more robust.

At that time, his peak energy will certainly exceed the current one-tenth of a sun.

The mecha can resolve 20% of the energy released by a gamma-ray burst.

If Lu Li elevates his power to resemble half a sun, then wouldn’t he be able to use his energy absorption abilities to counter more than fifty percent of the gamma-ray burst’s impact?

By this point, a solution for about seventy percent of the gamma-ray burst’s power has been found.

Three-tenths remain, which, in terms of exposure time, equates to about 2.4 seconds, still possibly causing catastrophic damage to Earth.

But don’t forget, he can also release ”Sun Gods” to perform a certain degree of energy absorption.

The energy absorption ratio capacity of ”Sun God” at its maximum power is equivalent to twenty percent of his own; two ”Sun Gods” make it forty percent.

Thus calculated, if his strength reaches equivalent to half a sun, both ”Sun Gods” can also absorb twenty percent of the gamma-ray burst’s power.

By then, the power of the gamma-ray burst would be reduced to just ten percent, which translates to approximately 0.8 seconds.

For the massive energy released by a gamma-ray burst, 0.8 seconds is still quite substantial, and the Earth’s atmosphere might not withstand it.

It seems this method is still somewhat lacking.

In fact, Lu Li found it feasible.

Because once he elevated his strength to the equivalent of 0.5 suns, the speed of assembling the mecha would certainly increase significantly as well.

By then, the number of mechas he could command would not be just 32,500, but potentially 80,000 to 90,000 or even 120,000!

With so many mechas cooperating with himself, dealing with the gamma-ray burst should be more than enough.

The premise is that he could elevate his strength to be equivalent to 0.5 suns within thirty-three days.

Lu Li’s mood suddenly improved, ”I seem to have overlooked something. Turns out, I overlooked myself.”

Based on previous instances of daily evolution, enhancing his strength three to four times in thirty-three days seems relatively easy. So achieving the equivalent of 0.5 suns is actually quite reasonable.

”If by then I am on the verge of my sixth deep evolution, perhaps the gamma-ray burst, lasting eight seconds, might not even be enough for me alone to ’consume’!”

Lu Li felt increasingly optimistic, ”I just don’t know if by then I could be close to the sixth deep evolution. If I can, I basically won’t have to worry about the gamma-ray burst anymore. Even if I can’t, as long as I elevate my strength to 0.5 suns, it should also solve the problem.”

He found it somewhat amusing in hindsight.

These past two days have been marred by constant worry, pondering how to solve the problem on a ”physical level.”

Ultimately, Lu Li discovered that he himself was the best ”solution” to the gamma-ray burst.

Of course, even though he had thought of a solution, Lu Li knew it was still conjecture.

Whether it could be successful in the end depends on the actual situation.

For instance, if he failed to elevate his strength to 0.5 suns, that would certainly mean failure.

Moreover, if the gamma-ray burst arriving is much stronger than typical gamma-ray bursts, he would also be at a loss.

So far, the estimation of how much energy a gamma-ray burst releases per second is all based on scientists’ ”guesses.”

The true amount of energy it releases per second, no one knows.

Currently, Lu Li’s flying speed is not enough to support him flying out of the solar system within thirty-three days to find a gamma-ray burst for testing.

Therefore, he could only use ”theory” as a reference to analyze and speculate whether he has the capability to solve the problem.

”To quickly enhance myself, based on past experience, I can put myself in a state of continuously consuming massive amounts of energy. When I feel a certain level of stress, my evolution speed will increase accordingly.”

Lu Li decided, ”Therefore, for the next thirty-three days, I need to be continuously engaged in assembling mechas or other energy-consuming activities, to accelerate my evolution.”

With this in mind, he knew there was basically no need to overthink.

Thinking too much is meaningless; after all, besides this feasible method, everything else is theoretical and not practically operable.

Lu Li looked in the direction of West Mountain, ”It’s already dawn. I must quickly let five hundred mechas take off, otherwise, it could be troublesome if noticed by others.”

He used energy remotely to ”connect” these mechas to Nuwa.

Then, Lu Li commanded, ”Nuwa, control these five hundred mechas to leave West Mountain. Gu Wei has located a base for us in the Taklamakan Desert. Have the mechas fly there now.”

Nuwa immediately responded, ”Alright, Master. Do you need me to be transported there as well?”

Lu Li said, ”In a day or two, once I establish a large base over there, we’ll talk again.”

Nuwa replied, ”As you command.”

The next moment, it transformed into a series of data and information, starting to control the five hundred mechas to leave West Mountain.

While Nuwa executed the command, Lu Li’s just-turned-on phone received a call.

Sure enough, it was Gu Wei calling.

Lu Li answered the call, ”Hello, Old Gu.”

Gu Wei immediately said, ”Mr. Lu, I’ve already found several suitable locations for the base, the first...”

Lu Li had long sensed through his super perception that Gu Wei had found three or four places to serve as the base, but none were as suitable as the Taklamakan Desert.

He interrupted, ”Let’s go with the Taklamakan Desert. Quickly dispatch a large number of forces to surround the entire desert. I’ll head over once I’ve dealt with my affairs, probably by the afternoon.”

Gu Wei, knowing Lu Li possessed the extraordinary skill of being ”forewarned,” expressed no surprise, ”Alright, I’ll mobilize ten to twenty thousand people to guard it right away.”

Lu Li acknowledged, ”The Taklamakan Desert covers an area about three times the size of Jiang Yun, indeed requiring ten to twenty thousand people to guard it. But this is temporary. Once I establish a base there and produce some reconnaissance robots, your people can withdraw.”

Gu Wei was momentarily startled, ”Don’t you need our help in establishing the base?”

Lu Li chuckled, ”The base I intend to establish is quite large and technologically advanced. Your current level can’t keep pace, so you can’t be of much help.”

Gu Wei’s eyes brightened, ”What kind of base are you planning to build? Can you divulge a little?”

What kind of base am I planning?

It will undoubtedly surpass all existing technology on Earth and will allow Nuwa to serve as a hub for technological renewal and upgrades.

Lu Li could boldly say that once this base is built, even if he leaves Earth, it could contend with all world’s nations. The various weapons and civilian technology products developed within will be far ahead!

He didn’t answer directly, only saying something profound, ”The grand base I’m going to build might just become the cradle for human technology developing into a Tier-III stellar civilization in the future!”
