Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 444: Chapter 385: Ruling Earth, Saint Monarch’s Dictatorship? (Part 2)

He roughly explained his plan.

For example, using the ability to ”condense particles” to create enough mechas, then release photon energy to counteract the immense power of the gamma-ray burst.

Liu Kexin listened with an expression of admiration, seemingly not expecting Lu Li to be so formidable, able to think of a solution for the gamma-ray burst, the most powerful high-energy rays in the cosmos.

Su City is about over thirteen thousand kilometers away from the Taklamakan Desert.

Although Lu Li’s flying speed is only a hundred kilometers per second, it took just over two minutes for the two of them to cross most of Huaxia, arriving at a desolate desert.

Lu Li searched for a position.

He transformed into a ray of white light and plummeted downwards.

That appearance was like a comet striking Earth.

The next moment, they landed at the entrance of a temporarily set-up tent.

At this moment, inside the tent, Gu Wei and a few big shots were having breakfast.

When they saw Lu Li and Liu Kexin appear, they quickly stood up to greet them.

”Mr. Lu, you’re here.”

”Please come inside, please come inside.”

Gu Wei and seven or eight big shots ushered Lu Li and Liu Kexin into the tent.

After some introductions, Lu Li learned that among these seven or eight big shots, two of them had statuses higher than Gu Wei.

One of them was Fu Qin, who was responsible for a force of one to two hundred thousand guards.

The other was Zhu Sen, responsible for providing Lu Li with materials or manpower if needed.

After getting to know each other, Fu Qin cautiously suggested, ”Mr. Lu, I’ve pretty much arranged the one to two hundred thousand guard forces you requested. Now, almost all the areas around the Taklamakan Desert are covered by reconnaissance personnel, so whatever you wish to do, there will be no disturbances.”

Zhu Sen, similarly constrained, spoke in a careful tone, ”Whatever materials or scientific personnel you need, I can immediately make a call to get them to you.”

”No need.” Lu Li waved his hand and straightforwardly said, ”Once I have the base established and go through a series of productions, with enough reconnaissance robots, your people can withdraw.”

Zhu Sen uttered an ”uh” sound, ”You want to establish a base without needing manpower or materials?”

Fu Qin and Zhu Sen, though having heard of Lu Li’s wonders, did not witness the miracle of ”creating something from nothing” like Gu Wei did, so naturally, they felt confused.

Not to mention them, even Lu Li’s girlfriend, Liu Kexin, reacted pretty much the same, sitting there looking very puzzled.

Normally speaking, building a base certainly involves a large amount of materials and workforce.

How could it be possible without needing any manpower or materials?

Moreover, Liu Kexin, Fu Qin, Zhu Sen, and the other big shots were even more puzzled over choosing the desert as a site for establishing a large base.

Firstly, sand in the desert usually lacks adhesion and stability.

This means houses constructed with desert sand may not be sturdy enough and are susceptible to natural influences.

Secondly, the grain size of desert sand is finer than standard construction sand.

This does not meet the national requirements for construction sand fineness and is not conducive to improving concrete strength.

Additionally, desert sand contains higher levels of salt and alkaline substances.

These substances are corrosive to the steel bars in buildings, affecting the compressive and seismic strength of buildings.

Besides, the density and porosity of desert sand are relatively high, making it harder to permeate to the groundwater table, which might impact the stability of building foundations.

Therefore, despite the abundant sand resources in the desert, due to their physical and chemical properties, it’s not suitable for establishing a base in such places.

Now, Lu Li has chosen this site for the base, not requiring manpower or materials, which naturally raises questions.

Only Gu Wei, having had the fortune of witnessing Lu Li’s ”creating something from nothing” in building a super particle collider base, somewhat understood what the other party intended to do.

He laughed and comforted everyone, ”You don’t need to worry about Mr. Lu’s base construction. He will do it as he says; just don’t be too surprised later.”

Huh?

Do you mean that even without manpower and resources, Mr. Lu can still construct a large-scale base?

The most crucial thing is, later Mr. Lu might do something incredibly sensational and shocking that will astonish everyone?

For a moment, the expressions of Fu Qin, Zhu Sen, and the other big shots were filled with anticipation and curiosity.

They were really eager to know what astonishing thing the globally feared ”ancestor” figure would do next.

As the saying goes, one to whom fame has come bears no empty reputation.

In the eyes of Fu Qin, Zhu Sen, and the other big shots, with Gu Wei’s assurance, Mr. Lu’s move would certainly be deeply impressive.

This greatly heightened their expectations to a peak.

Not only were Fu Qin, Zhu Sen, and others full of hope.

Even Liu Kexin was very curious and expectant.

She really wanted to know how amazing her boyfriend was, being able to build an immense base in the desert, a location unsuited for construction?

As everyone was filled with anticipation, Lu Li seemed to remember something.

He told the crowd, ”What I’m going to do next is indeed sensational and could have a gigantic impact on the entire Earth’s human civilization, so it needs to be kept confidential for now. Please instruct the one to two hundred thousand reconnaissance guards, and the residents around the desert, not to disclose this matter. Oh, and you can start evacuating the residents around now. I remember there’s a village on the outskirts of the desert with about thirteen hundred people. Relocate them and ensure proper settlement for each family; compensate them adequately, don’t make them suffer.”

”Understood!”

”We’ll have someone arrange this matter right away.”

Fu Qin, Zhu Sen, and others hurriedly expressed their stance.

To be honest, Lu Li didn’t want one to two hundred thousand guards to be ”spectators,” but since the base hasn’t been built yet and reconnaissance robots haven’t been produced, these guard forces are needed to maintain order and prevent intrusions.

Thus, having these one to two hundred thousand guards become ”spectators” later is unavoidable.

He has only one hope now, which is for Fu Qin, Zhu Sen, and others to do a good job in confidentiality mobilization, to prevent those one to two hundred thousand from leaking the large base’s details.

Otherwise, if other countries find out, someone would definitely take risks to investigate the situation.

Then it would affect the progress of creating the ”savior” mecha.

...

Lu Li was indeed preparing to build an extremely large base to resolve the gamma-ray burst.

However, due to extreme fear, there were new developments outside.

Initially, everyone was terrified about the impending gamma-ray burst visiting Earth.

Because some analyzed that the ”ancestor” figure could not take the risk of serious injury to become the ”savior.”

So, this fear quickly reached its peak in a short time.

As the saying goes, solutions are always more than difficulties.

After some time in panic, people worldwide really came up with a solution for the gamma-ray burst.

Or rather, they thought of a way to make the ”ancestor” figure stand out as a ”savior.”

We have no relation with the ”ancestor” figure, so everyone speculated that he would not stand out as the ”savior.”

Then, if people worldwide establish a relationship with the ”ancestor” figure, wouldn’t he have to stand out as the ”savior” when the gamma-ray burst arrives?

Logically speaking, global citizens and the ”ancestor” figure are not related by blood, so building a relationship seems impossible, which is an unrealistic thought.

However, some so-called ”smart ones” indeed figured out how to latch onto the ”ancestor” figure.

And there was not just one ”smart one.”

Almost every nation worldwide had their own ”Arhate and Phoenix chicks.”

Their solutions were almost identical.

That is to request the ”ancestor” figure to rule Earth and become the Saint Monarch.

This way, when the ”ancestor” figure becomes the ”king” of global citizens, there’s no reason not to take action during Earth’s life-or-death crisis, right?

Indeed, this group’s solution was to make Lu Li rule Earth!
