Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 412: Chapter 357: Starburst Ability_2

Suppose he tries to predict a person’s behavior, that’s impossible because humans have thoughts.

Someone might be thinking about eating ice cream now, but halfway there, they see a cake shop and decide to eat cake instead.

Although this is a simplistic analogy, it fully reflects one point: the human mind is unpredictable.

As for other things, they can be measured.

Lu Li thought to himself: ”I can simulate the weather, natural disasters, or even possible events in the cosmic space over a period by tracking the trajectories of particles, as long as there’s no human interference.”

Take the weather, for example.

If he simulates predictions through particle trajectories.

Perhaps he could detect that a certain area will rain one or two days later.

But if someone fires a rain-inducing rocket midway, it would disrupt his prediction.

Then, the area where he predicted rain would see no rain.

These are small matters.

Lu Li wasn’t interested in becoming a weather forecasting expert and naturally wouldn’t be troubled by such things.

He began to touch the surrounding particles with energy, tracing their trajectories and simultaneously starting the simulation.

To ensure accuracy, Lu Li extended his energy beams into the starry sky.

At the same time, he was tracking the particle trajectories in the starry sky, combining them for simulation.

This process sounds complicated.

But for him, after his fifth deep evolution, it was a breeze given his powerful simulation capabilities.

In less than a second, Lu Li saw the changes on Mercury for the coming period, and that was...

Alright, not much change.

He continued to deepen the simulation calculations, probing further into the future.

Three days.

Five days.

Ten days.

In no time, he had simulated what would happen on Mercury in one Earth month.

The result remained uneventful.

At this point, Lu Li already felt the simulation computation consuming a lot of energy.

And every additional day of simulation doubled the energy consumption from before.

”From the current perspective, the amount of energy in my body only allows me to simulate the specific situation on Mercury up to forty-five days later.”

Lu Li wasn’t planning on simulating that long.

After all, he needed to reserve some energy to test other things.

He planned to stop the simulation around thirty-five days.

The simulation continued rapidly.

Thirty-two days, calm and peaceful.

On the thirty-third day, particles started showing strange vibrations.

Lu Li was taken aback, ”Huh, what’s going on?”

He sensed something unusual, his eyes becoming serious, continuing to simulate and calculate the future.

On the thirty-fourth day, Mercury suddenly became a bright expanse.

It seemed as if there was no distinction between day and night, the whole planet illuminated.

No.

Not just Mercury.

The nearby star realm almost uniformly lit up.

The brightness was terrifying, as if it illuminated the entire solar system.

The most crucial part was that this brightness was different from the sunlight’s glow. It seemed to carry a destructive force.

Lu Li’s simulation continued, but ten seconds later, this terrifying brightness completely disappeared.

However, the horrifying scenario was just beginning.

When the light that seemed to brighten the whole world vanished.

The thin atmosphere on Mercury was utterly decimated.

Everything appeared to have mutated due to that light!

Seeing this, Lu Li’s pupils dilated, ”Luckily, this light occurred on Mercury. If it happened on Earth, according to the scene I simulated, all life on Earth might be wiped out!”

Wait!

Although Mercury is ninety-two million kilometers away from Earth, this distance isn’t particularly far for light.

Lu Li’s face changed as he thought inwardly, ”Could this light spread to Earth?”

If it truly spreads to Earth, then all species would face extinction!

Foreseeing this terrifying future, even as someone akin to a divine being, Lu Li felt a growing unease within.

He didn’t know what this light was, yet it could envelop such a huge planet like Mercury in an instant.

Thankfully, there are no life forms on Mercury; otherwise, they’d all vanish.

The more Lu Li thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed.

But he reassured himself, ”This simulation might not be accurate. After all, I’ve simulated more than thirty-four days ahead, the accuracy surely diminishes...”

However, what if the result I simulated... is true?

Lu Li didn’t dare to think further.

He felt that if the simulation came true, it would be the end of the world!

”No, I can’t carry out any more tests on Mercury. I must immediately return to Earth and conduct another simulation to see if the same scene happens.”

Lu Li prayed inwardly, ”I hope the simulation result upon returning won’t be like this.”

Thinking this, he was about to take out a camera lent by a reporter, to casually snap some pictures of Mercury.

But Lu Li helplessly found that during his deep evolution, everything around him had been annihilated, camera included.

”Forget it, I’ll give him something better.”

Lu Li used the simulation function to create a super camera thirty years more advanced than the current most advanced camera.

In an instant, he formed a very small camera in his palm.

Lu Li looked at it in his hand, ”Though small, this camera is incredibly powerful, with virtual and augmented reality technology, allowing photos or videos to be overlaid with virtual elements, creating unique visual effects. Moreover, it can turn captured content into a ’video’ photo.”

In short, it can be both a photo and a video clip.

It’s similar to live photos but much more potent.

Lu Li could actually concoct a better camera.

But now he was in a hurry to return to Earth, with no time to tinker further.

After forming the super camera, he casually took some ”video” photos around, then flew out of the atmosphere with it in his grip.

At this moment, Lu Li was flying while absorbing free energy.

Maybe he was too powerful, free energy couldn’t replenish fast enough.

Lu Li had to change his method, annihilating invisible particles around him during flight, releasing a massive amount of energy, and absorbing it into his body.

This sped up his energy absorption significantly.

Lu Li furrowed his brows slightly, ”Now my energy absorption is too vast; casually doing so annihilates a lot of matter. It’s fine in cosmic space, but if I keep annihilating matter on Earth for energy, won’t I eventually drain the planet?”

He decided that once back on Earth, he would try to only absorb free energy, avoiding annihilating matter.

If free energy isn’t enough for his consumption, he’ll head to the cosmos to annihilate matter for sufficient energy.

”Let’s test the flight speed, see how much it’s increased.”

As Lu Li thought, he boosted his flight speed to the maximum.

The next second, he turned into a ”stream of light” between light and matter, shooting towards Earth at an incredible speed.

Using his extraordinary perception, Lu Li calculated his speed per second, obtaining a terrifying result.

His energy-balanced flight speed had reached an enormous seventeen thousand six hundred twelve point eight kilometers per second!

Bear in mind, the speed of light is only three hundred thousand kilometers per second.

Now, his flight speed reached about zero point zero five nine times the speed of light?

Lu Li could entirely envision that if he entered Earth’s atmosphere at this speed and crashed onto the ground, the explosion would be colossal.

Probably all organisms on the surface would be annihilated by the explosion he caused!
