Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 430: Chapter 372: Immortality (Part 2)

The remaining portion nourished Liu Kexin’s body, granting her an extended lifespan.

Most crucially, according to Lu Li’s calculations, it wasn’t just a matter of Liu Kexin living to three hundred and twenty-six years; her youthful ”shelf life” had also been extended.

Generally speaking, a woman’s youth ends around seventeen or eighteen years old.

The ”shelf life” of youth usually lasts from eighteen to twenty-eight years old, after which they enter a mature period.

In other words, the twenty-eight-year-old Liu Kexin was already nearing the end of her youthful ”shelf life,” about to enter maturity.

However, according to Lu Li’s recent calculations, Liu Kexin had accepted some special substances containing advanced energy, and in the near future, she would experience ”reverse aging,” reverting back to the beginning of her youthful ”shelf life” and staying there for a prolonged period.

Not just the brief ten years from eighteen to twenty-eight, but extended to as long as forty-one years.

During these forty-one years, Liu Kexin would remain in her most glorious prime!

”I am indeed extraordinary, like the ’Tang Monk’s flesh’. ”

Lu Li chuckled wryly, ”Although three hundred twenty-six years is quite long, I must try to see if I can make her live even longer. If possible, then my parents too, I can also greatly extend their lifespan.”

With that thought, he simulated once more how to use energy to extend life.

Soon, Lu Li discovered a method.

He moved an energy within him, converging remotely onto Liu Kexin, enveloping her whole body.

The energies permeated through her, slightly improving her genes, as well as each cell in her body.

The energy consumption wasn’t very large.

Lu Li conducted a brief analysis.

He found that after improving Liu Kexin’s body, he had spent at most 0.1% of his energy.

This level of energy consumption was negligible.

Although the energy consumption wasn’t much, the human body’s structure is truly complex, so the process took a relatively long time.

Lu Li spent about five minutes to complete the improvements on Liu Kexin’s body.

Within those five minutes, an astonishing scene occurred.

Liu Kexin’s body visibly started to get ”younger” at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Once the improvements were finished, Lu Li assessed.

At this moment, Liu Kexin’s body age should be around ”eighteen years old.”

Critically, she didn’t ”lose” the ”strength and robustness” she was about to gain as she entered maturity.

Observing this, Lu Li’s eyes widened.

”Oh?” He noticed an interesting phenomenon, ”According to my observations, while it’s impossible to turn someone into a ’superhuman,’ if there is time for continuous ’refreshing,’ it could potentially allow Liu Kexin to break the physical limits of an ordinary human and have a healthier and stronger body.”

Using his powerful computing ability, he calculated and concluded that through continuous ”refreshing,” he might enable Liu Kexin’s physical condition to reach twice the peak of a normal human’s body quality.

Of course, just about twice.

Any further enhancement would be impossible.

The main reason is that once reaching this level, further enhancement would require unlocking some genes.

Lu Li had previously experimented and thought about this issue.

He understood that simply unlocking some gene locks could result in uncontrollable and terrifying situations.

Thus, the limit of how much he could improve a person’s physical condition was just this much.

Wanting to improve more would be impossible unless he achieved a higher state of existence.

Otherwise, it would be entirely impossible.

”Twice is quite sufficient.”

Lu Li felt quite satisfied, ”If I keep ’refreshing’ her about ten times, she basically wouldn’t face life-threatening situations unless she encountered firearms, and because her physical condition could be twice as strong, her healing ability would also greatly increase. Even if she got shot, as long as it didn’t hit a critical part, like her head or heart, the chances of recovery are high.”

In fact, as long as she doesn’t die on the spot, he could completely rescue her.

”Oh, I forgot to calculate how much her lifespan can be extended.”

Lu Li simulated and calculated again, quickly determining Liu Kexin’s lifespan after he improved her cellular genes, and the result if he performed ten consecutive ”refreshings.”

Currently, Liu Kexin’s lifespan has extended to about four hundred fifty-six years.

If he completed the necessary ten ”refreshings” on her, her lifespan could potentially extend to eight hundred years.

But exceeding ten ”refreshings” would have no effect.

”Normally, ten ’refreshings’ couldn’t achieve an eight-hundred-year-long life.”

Lu Li analyzed, ”The reason she can live longer compared to normal situations with ’refreshing’ is entirely because there are some special substances containing my advanced energy within her body. Otherwise, when I normally ’refresh’ others, I estimate that at best, I could extend their lifespan to around five hundred years, contingent on the current state of the ’refreshed’ person’s physical condition.”

Take his parents, for example.

They are already in their forties or fifties.

Even with ten ”refreshings,” it’s impossible to reach the theoretical five hundred years, there would be some small deductions.

Lu Li first remotely scanned his parents’ body structures and then conducted simulations and predictions.

He found that he could only extend their lifespan to four hundred years.

Their physical condition couldn’t even reach twice the peak of human standards, it would have an eighty percent deduction.

”The current physical condition of the object I ’refresh’ directly impacts the ’refreshing’ result.”

Lu Li roughly understood and felt quite satisfied, ”Even though my current limit can only extend my parents’ lifespan to four hundred years, I will constantly become stronger, entering the sixth depth evolution or the seventh depth evolution, surely then I can make them live longer and stronger, even one day... allow them to unlock their gene locks like me!”

This possibility seems very small.

He had already simulated before, and knew that to unlock the gene locks of others would require unbelievable amounts of energy.

No matter what, one thing can be certain.

That is, Lu Li now had the formidable ability to make others ”live forever”!

”This way, even if a gamma-ray burst destroys Earth, I can take my family and friends, possessing enough time to find a new Earth within the cosmic space, thereby ensuring the continuation of the species.”

Lu Li finally breathed a sigh of relief, no longer feeling as tense as before.

Of course, although now he can ensure his family and friends live longer, it’s best if Earth doesn’t get destroyed.

Because he truly didn’t know if there were planets suitable for human survival in the vast cosmos.

If not, he would truly have to keep drifting in cosmic space with his family and friends.

By then, he certainly couldn’t continue to undergo depth evolutions, or put himself into slumber.

Otherwise, without his energy shield covering them, his family and friends would directly die in cosmic space.

Of course, he could use his powerful computing ability to simulate a super spaceship that can endure in cosmic space for a long time.

In that case, as long as he doesn’t slumber too long during depth evolutions, the people inside wouldn’t have anything to worry about.

Not too long, otherwise, without enough food, people would starve to death.

Only when Lu Li is awake can he use the condensation function to provide food for everyone.

As he thought about this, he remotely released energy back to his rural hometown to improve his parents’ cellular genes.

”I have to protect Earth.”

Lu Li’s eyes flickered slightly, ”So, from tonight, I’ll have to start figuring out ways, like creating a super brain that collects information globally and calculates with me to find a method to resist gamma-ray bursts.”

Protecting Earth isn’t his responsibility.

But for the sake of his family and friends, Lu Li must do it.

Thinking of this, he mused with interest, ”Now I’m protecting the Earth, but in the future, it might well turn into my Earth.”

Yes, provided no one provokes him.

Otherwise, Lu Li doesn’t mind turning everyone’s Earth into his Earth alone.
