Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 424: Chapter 367: Massive Sensation (Part 3)

He sat in the office, feeling that the whole company might be finished, after all, the customers had all left.

But even as things had progressed to this point, he still did not blame Lu Li for affecting the business, just lamenting that these people did not recognize his talent and did not know how amazing Lu Li was.

”Forget it, if we really can’t go on, let’s just close the company.”

Peng Erping shook his head helplessly, ready to get up and leave work early to find somewhere to drink away his sorrows.

The situation was similar throughout the company, as employees had already learned that many customers had chosen to terminate their contracts, continuously sighing over there.

”It’s over.”

”The company has no hope.”

”Sigh, everyone should start preparing.”

”No need to prepare, I’ve already packed my stuff.”

”My dad used his connections to find me a job at Dongwu Securities, I can go for the medical exam the day after tomorrow, and if I pass, I can start working there.”

”Actually, the quality of the engines produced by our company is among the best in the world, but now affected by external forces...”

”Don’t say that, if that person knew, he would definitely punish you.”

”Sigh, President Peng treats us well, if it weren’t for the company’s troubles, I’d really want to work here till I die.”

”Me too, but what can we do, the company has lost so many customers, they can’t make money, who’s going to pay us?”

However, just as everyone was getting ready to pack up and wait for bankruptcy, the phone in the company suddenly rang, one after another!

Ring ring ring!

Ring ring ring!

Ring ring ring!

It was like a concert!

”That scared me.”

”What’s going on?”

”So many calls?”

A female employee from the customer department answered the phone listlessly, ”Hello, Longda Machinery... Ah? What did you say? You want to order thirty thousand engines? Are you... are you sure? Really thirty thousand... ah, I didn’t mean that... okay! Okay! I’ll arrange for someone to go over to your company to sign a contract!”

Several others nearby were having similar conversations, ”What? You want to place a large order for fifty thousand engines? And it’s a long-term contract?”

After hanging up, a young man was stunned, looking at his colleagues, ”Am... am I dreaming?”

A middle-aged man, shocked, gripped his desk phone and exclaimed: ”I just received a big order over here too, the other side claimed to be an automobile manufacturer ready to sign a five-year contract with us!”

”Crazy!”

”These people are simply crazy!”

”Orders are falling like snow!”

The customer department was instantly in a frenzy.

Peng Erping had no idea what was happening, just getting up to walk outside.

He had just approached the door and hadn’t even managed to reach for the doorknob.

Bam!

A loud bang!

The office door was violently pushed open from outside!

Fortunately, Peng Erping reacted quickly and hurriedly dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding being hit by the door.

Upon seeing who it was, he frowned, ”Xiaocui, what’s going on with you? Knock before you come in, you almost hit me.”

Xiaocui was pointing outside, gasping heavily as if he had just sprinted and was out of breath, ”So... so many... so many orders! Cra... crazy! All those customers are going crazy!”

Peng Erping chuckled, ”You must still be dreaming, right?”

Xiaocui excitedly said, ”Really, customers have gone crazy placing orders! Just in such a short moment, those customers who previously terminated contracts not only came back, but also expressed wanting to establish longer, closer cooperation with us. We’ve received orders for over a hundred and twenty thousand engines, and our factory can’t keep up with the efficiency, there are still some orders I didn’t dare to confirm. Boss, you decide, what should we do?”

Peng Erping was dumbfounded, ”How is this possible!”

Xiaocui trembled as he said, ”Boss! It’s true! I’ve never seen such a situation, we can’t produce fast enough now, what do you say we do?”

Peng Erping was still having a hard time believing it, ”What on earth caused this?”

Xiaocui quickly replied, ”Apparently, it’s because Mr. Lu helped develop a super particle collider base for the country, and also developed a particle energy technology that is even more impressive than nuclear fusion. Everyone knows you have a close relationship with Mr. Lu, so now they’re all trying to curry favor, which is why they’re placing orders!”

Peng Erping suddenly understood and immediately realized what was going on.

As a business owner, for his career to have reached such heights, his decisiveness was certainly extraordinary.

He rushed outside while shouting, ”I’ll go to the customer department and check the situation! Quickly get in touch with some engine production outsourcing factories for me! It’s okay to have too many orders, if we really can’t produce in time, we can outsource to other manufacturers to help with production! Quick! Go get it done!”

He’s no fool, he surely understands how the super collider and a more impressive particle energy technology than nuclear fusion can bring about a ”qualitative change” for the country.

Therefore, at this moment, Lu Li has surely become a ”national hero” in the hearts of all Huaxia people, and it’s quite normal to attract so many customers placing orders.

Inside, Peng Erping couldn’t help but feel secretly excited, Mr. Lu is truly amazing, the news just reported that he returned to Earth this morning, and immediately accomplished something earth-shattering that impacted the whole nation, solving the problems of his factory.

As it turns out, problems he thought were difficult, in front of a Divine Being like Mr. Lu, are simply nothing!
