Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 417: Chapter 362: Just Do It

Liu Kexin is busy negotiating with clients.

The second ”Divine Sense” was just released to probe the situation, so there won’t be any feedback that quickly.

Lu Li couldn’t think of anything to do at the moment, so he decided to go home and check on his parents, bracing himself to be nagged by them a bit.

He transformed into a ”stream of light.”

In an instant, he returned to the countryside house.

At this moment, his mom and dad were sitting inside, constantly sighing.

”Oh, what should we do?” his mom said with a worried face, ”I went out to find someone to chat with, but they don’t even dare to talk to me.”

His dad looked even more speechless and said, ”Didn’t I go to my old workplace a couple of days ago to drink with my old colleagues? When they saw me, they all acted like they were fleeing from a disaster and didn’t dare to interact with me at all.”

”It’s more than that,” his mom lamented, ”This morning, I went to the market. As soon as I stood there, the bustling market suddenly became desolate. Those vendors looked at me as if they’d seen a ghost, with mournful expressions. I feel like I’m being isolated by the whole world.”

Hearing this, Lu Li, who was about to enter the house, suddenly stopped in his tracks.

He of course knew why his parents were experiencing this.

Earlier at Vox, Lu Li had already sensed how fearful people around the world were of him.

It’s not surprising that his parents were experiencing this situation, and it’s likely due to the same reason.

For a moment, he felt a bit uncomfortable inside.

He felt as if his previous actions to intimidate the globe had somehow betrayed his family and friends.

Vox was like this.

His parents faced a similar situation.

Lu Li had already sensed through his extraordinary perception that Peng Erping, Qin Liang, and others with close ties to him were all in almost the same situation.

”I can ignore others, but not my parents.”

Lu Li thought quietly outside the door, ”Also, I still haven’t thought of a solution to the gamma-ray burst. Maybe in thirty-four days, I will be the only one left on Earth who can survive. Even if I use my immense power to take my parents and Liu Kexin into the cosmic space to survive temporarily, how long can that last?”

Parents, Liu Kexin, Julia Giannini, these people close to him he might be able to manage, even drifting in the vast cosmos, finding a new planet suitable for human habitation, but friends like Qin Liang and Peng Erping, he might not be capable of caring for them.

Not to say incapable.

Their families are all here.

They probably wouldn’t leave with him.

”Unless I simulate a super spaceship and take all my family and friends away from Earth, but no matter how super the spaceship is, the number of people it can carry is limited. I can’t take everyone with me.”

Lu Li’s mind kept churning, trying to find a solution.

For now, he hadn’t thought of one, and he couldn’t stop the gamma-ray burst from coming.

So he pondered whether he should do something for everyone before the apocalypse.

For instance, make them enjoy these thirty-odd days happily?

”Seems like I need to do something, to give them some end-of-life care.”

Lu Li made up his mind.

However, a new problem arose.

What exactly should he do to make everyone happy?

In fact, Lu Li knew the answer.

No more than eliminating people’s fear of him, even becoming welcome.

So that the people affected by him can turn the tide.

From people not daring to approach, to taking the initiative to reach out.

With a little thought, he did come up with a way to quickly reverse his ”reputation.”

Shen Xia had previously asked him to help research how to collect subatomic particles from ”volcanic volcanic ash.” If he helped solve this problem and announced this achievement in collaboration with Shen Xia, it might make the people of Huaxia grow fond of him.

The people of Huaxia have always admired scientists with huge contributions.

This can be seen from figures like Yuan Longping, Deng Jiaxian, Qian Xuesen, and others.

Even Yang Zhenning, whose reputation isn’t very good, still garnered a lot of ”fans” because of his significant scientific contributions, supporting him and speaking on his behalf.

Therefore, Lu Li thought that as long as he could make unparalleled contributions to his country in research, perhaps people would also grow fond of him, completely resolving this dilemma.

”Also, in the meantime, I should use the simulation function to simulate a super-awesome spaceship structure and then materialize it. If I can really simulate it, maybe I can save more family and friends.”

Lu Li decided that if he still couldn’t think of a solution to the gamma-ray burst problem in another twenty or thirty days, he would use the materialized spaceship to take as many family and friends as possible away.

He hadn’t done any simulation yet.

He temporarily didn’t know if he could simulate the kind of spaceship he envisioned.

Therefore, Lu Li decided to spend a little time first to reverse his ”reputation.”

In case he couldn’t simulate it, at least his family and friends wouldn’t spend their last days as if they were isolated from the entire world.

The likelihood of failing is very low because Lu Li’s computing ability is not what it used to be.

With that in mind, an energy thread branched off, finding Gu Wei, who was working in his office.

Lu Li transmitted his thoughts, ”I need to make a trip to the large collider in Gansu to help them solve the issue of collecting ’volcanic volcanic ash’ subatomic particles. Meanwhile, find some journalists for me, quickly draft articles, and lavishly praise Shen Xia and me. As for the data of the collection, once I help them solve it, I’ll have it passed over to you, and you can then give it to the journalists to publish.”

Gu Wei raised his head in bewilderment, weakly saying, ”Mr. Lu...is that you?”

”It’s me.” Lu Li continued transmitting his message, ”Did you remember what I just told you?”

”Yes, yes, I remember.”

Gu Wei cautiously asked, ”May I ask, how are you communicating with me? Is it some kind of out-of-body experience from mythological stories?”

Lu Li casually explained, ”Have you read online novels? It’s similar to a Divine Sense. Alright, I’m heading to Gansu now, you go ahead and get things done.”

Gu Wei immediately said, ”Okay, I’ll take care of it right away.”

Lu Li retracted the energy line, then didn’t even enter the door, directly transformed into a ”streaming light,” shooting towards the location in Gansu.

...

Approximately 0.1 seconds later, Lu Li arrived at his destination.

Hmm, the distance between Gansu and Jiangsu is over 1,700 kilometers.

His flying speed is over 17,600 kilometers per second, so naturally, he can arrive in 0.1 seconds.

This is an underground base equipped with a large particle collider.

Lu Li didn’t rush inside but instead sensed the conditions within.

Inside were rows of advanced technological instruments and a supercomputer.

He saw Shen Xia, Academician Qian Jin, and hundreds of staff, all busy with their respective tasks.

Among them, Shen Xia and Academician Qian Jin, along with seven or eight rather elderly physicists, were discussing the capture of ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles.

”Xiaoshen, our method isn’t working.”

”The particle collider has been tried not a thousand times, but eight hundred trips have been run, and there’s still no clue in capturing.”

”Is it possible that the synthesis and capture method given by Mr. Lu itself contains certain flaws?”

Several senior physicists frowned repeatedly.

Shen Xia said with absolute certainty, ”The synthesis and capture method given by Mr. Lu must be correct, there’s no doubt about it, otherwise, we couldn’t have accidentally synthesized ’volcanic ash’ subatomic particles earlier. As for why we can’t succeed every time, and the failure to capture during that synthesis, there’s only one possibility, which is that we didn’t understand the technology provided by Mr. Lu.”

With these words, those senior physicists all looked quite helpless, almost as if they disagreed with Shen Xia’s words.

Even Academician Qian Jin stood there, hesitant to speak, seeming to suspect whether there were indeed flaws in the technology given by Lu Li.

Actually, it’s quite normal for Academician Qian Jin and these physicists to have some doubts.

After all, during these days, they have been trying almost day and night, but aside from the accidental synthesis of a ”volcanic ash” subatomic particle three or four days ago, they haven’t succeeded even once at other times.

Failing once or twice doesn’t matter.

But trying a thousand or eight hundred times without seeing any results, anyone would have doubts.

Lu Li, on the other hand, found Shen Xia’s unwavering faith in him somewhat unusual.

However, he was quite pleased that the other party trusted him, and that feeling was great.

Lu Li attempted a deduction and quickly realized why these people couldn’t synthesize ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles and capture them using the technology he provided.

The reason is very simple, the main idea of synthesizing ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles is to embed electrons during the collision, rather than synthesizing antimatter where sufficient energy is obtained during collision to create particles.

These physicists followed the technology he provided.

It’s just that their habitual thinking adjusted the collider’s power to such immense levels for synthesizing antimatter.

Simply put, they were ”too forceful.”

This common-sense error might seem incredible to ordinary people.

But in fact, controlling the ”heat” needed to create particles is far more challenging than cooking a small dish.

”Volcanic ash” as a subatomic particle not yet discovered by the scientific community is extremely prone to annihilation, which makes the ”heat” control even more difficult.

So it’s quite normal that Shen Xia, Qian Jin, and these physicists couldn’t grasp the ”strength.”

Lu Li decided to go in and ”guide” these physicists.

Moreover, just ”guiding” might only allow them to synthesize and capture ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles, but wouldn’t necessarily enable mass synthesis and storage, let alone applying it to weapons, aerospace, or civilian use.

Although Lu Li believed that the current situation meant doomsday would come in thirty-four days, he still prepared to do his utmost to complete the task regarding ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles, rather than just putting on a show.

Either don’t do it.

If you do, do it the best.

This has always been his way of doing things.

Lu Li once again scrutinized the base of the large particle collider.

He couldn’t help shaking his head, ”In order to achieve mass synthesis and storage, the equipment and scale of this base are obviously not suitable, it seems I need to use my evolved super-high computing power to simulate a foolproof large particle collider that surpasses current technology, and then on this basis, establish a new particle collider base.”

This kind of project might seem monumental to ordinary people.

For example, Huaxia has announced in the past two years the plan to build the world’s largest particle collider base.

The project would start in 2027, with the construction cycle expected to take as long as ten years.

But for Lu Li, who currently possesses star-exploding capabilities, this so-called monumental project is actually very simple.

Yes.

Whether it’s simulating to materialize a more advanced large particle collider.

Or constructing the world’s largest particle collider base.

For the current Lu Li with star-exploding capabilities, they are actually quite easy tasks.

Now he has only one issue.

That is if he really utilizes his energy later.

To construct a massively scaled particle collider base.

If the news leaks out, it might cause a huge sensation.

Thinking of this, Lu Li chuckled silently, ”Doomsday is about to arrive, and I’m still worried about causing a huge sensation?”

Alright.

Then let’s do it.

Go crazy once before the end of the world comes.

No matter if it will cause a huge sensation, just do it!
