Counterfeit Hero

Margaret could even clearly feel that Fatty’s command was maturing!

Yes, it’s like the feeling of grains of sand forming a tower, which then magically condenses into a castle built with blue stone and steel beams. These command techniques are his catalysts.

Margaret didn’t know what Fatty had gone through in the war, nor did she know what kind of guidance Russell, his teacher, had given him. She only knew that she was fortunate to witness the birth of a future great general.

It was she who personally completed one of the procedures involved.

In this room, on this sunny day, the magic fortress was gradually taking shape.

”Beep beep!”

Fatty’s communicator suddenly rang.

”Audrey, what’s up...” Amidst his busyness, Fatty opened the communicator. After listening to just two sentences, his hands stopped moving.

”What’s wrong?” Seeing Fatty stop the match and turn to look at her, Margaret asked puzzled.

Old Klaus, he’s the bandit army’s treasurer!

Fatty’s face, as heartless as a curtain, could drop emotions at any moment: ”Colonel Margaret, your army has captured a citizen of our Leray Federation, and coincidentally, this person is an official from our Leray Federation’s Ministry of Finance. I don’t care for reason, hurry up and release him!”

”.........”

The room was dead silent, the two stared wide-eyed at each other.

After a while, Margaret brushed her long hair by her ear and with a charming smile said, ”You’re talking nonsense! Your person was captured—what’s it got to do with me? I’ve been with you all day. Fatty, did a mule kick your brain?”

Huh? Fatty stared at Margaret. This woman, she’s quite feisty.

He didn’t know Margaret was Hastings’ granddaughter, nor did he know the fierceness and speed at which this little witch could change her expressions—she was already famous in Feiyang’s circles of high-ranking officials and wealthy heirs!

Back then, the unlucky guy who tried to drug her, just a second before losing his vital parts, was still chatting and laughing with Margaret, who had a shy red face, while receiving envious and jealous gazes from all around. Not a single person among the dozen there noticed Margaret, who embodied the graceful lady-like demeanor, showing any sign of an outburst.

That kick was suddenly completed. Margaret was smilingly listening to the unlucky guy talk, and then suddenly, there was a kick. The high heels directly landed on that guy’s vital parts.

Next, in front of all the well-dressed and courteous party guests, the beautiful woman in evening wear, akin to a princess, transformed into a gang leader on the street. Her noble elegant demeanor paired with crude words and her alluring wild charm left people both dumbfounded and mesmerized.

Everyone knew this little witch never played by the rules and was never tied down by any upbringing or benefits, saying whatever she wanted and doing whatever she liked. All the praises or insults, vilification or flattery, were mere fleeting clouds in her view. Flipping faces in front of hundreds of elite society members, calling herself granny and insulting bastards blatantly, while dealing lethal blows to someone’s vital parts, was just one of her many wanton acts.

Whether facing high-ranking officials or her own uncles, as long as she was provoked, her expression could change from sunny to thunderous in a second, giving no face whatsoever.

This was in perfect alignment with Hastings, renowned for his quick face-changing and thunderous means. The grandparent and grandchild were practically the same.

Fatty was a bit stunned. Margaret likewise didn’t anticipate that this damn Fatty’s face-changing speed could actually be faster than hers. Just mere seconds before, she was painstakingly guiding him, yet upon receiving news, this guy turned the tables. Unmoved by sentiments, burned bridges, and instantly changed tune to an appalling degree!

She would usually, often have some transition, but this guy had none whatsoever.

”Wow!” Fatty rolled up his sleeves: ”Challenging me, are you?”

”Wanna hit me? Go on, hit me.” Margaret puffed up her chest, her eyes were like silk as she talked, and her foot swiftly landed another kick.

”Wow, you kicked my little brother?” Fatty was practically drenched in cold sweat.

”Damn Fatty, lucky you dodged fast. Let go of my foot.”

”Nasty woman, there’s no escape for you today, I’ll exchange you instead!”

”Help! Help! Ugh.......”

”Dumb hag, I’m gonna teach you a lesson today; how dare you use this move.....”

”Fatty brother, no spanking! It wasn’t me who caught the person. I’ll have them released later, okay? Are you still playing this match?”

”Playing....by the way, what command should follow next?”

”Fatty, you’re gripping my foot blue, you’ll have to compensate me.”

”Get lost, stop trying to charm me. Got no bust, no rear.”

”Fine, damn Fatty, just you wait.”

”Do as you please, you crazy woman.”

”Scoundrel. After this match, you should teach me Mecha Fighting. By the way, what’s your name in Sky-Filling Fire?”

”I’m called s...” Words about to slip, Fatty suddenly realized that his ID in Sky-Filling Fire was a hated figure that couldn’t be disclosed to this woman; he promptly changed his words: ”What’s with all the questioning, it’s gonna be you playing anyway, not me!”

”I heard you challenged nine Mecha Halls here. If you can avenge me, I......”

”Definitely don’t offer yourself; if you’re really desperate, at most, I’ll help you touch, pretending to be a healer or savior.”

”But, I like to tie you up....with whips and wax....Fatty brother.”

”Get lost!”

”Alright, alright, time to switch games. Help me take revenge!”

”Who ticked you off? You look furious.”

”Who else...That bastard SM01314!”

”Who?” Fatty shivered.

”Don’t you know? That guy is back again! Sky-Filling Fire is awash with blood now!”
