Counterfeit Hero

Learning it now?! Just as everyone was shocked by Fatty’s answer, on the simulation computer, five red warships breaking away from the chase of a Blue Army cruiser squad with a dazzling cross-position change, scattered the Blue Army’s formation and formed a counter-encirclement against them.

Almost simultaneously, everyone’s eyes fell on Andre, the ship captain of the [Brooks] cruiser.

Andre, solidly built with rugged features, had his eyes wide open, his mouth agape enough to see his throat.

This command technique was Andre’s proud creation. Back when he was a regular staff officer, it was precisely through a thesis systematically discussing this technique of cross-position change between warships to counter-encircle the pursuing enemy ships, that he gained Zhang Pengcheng’s appreciation and was promoted to the ship captain of [Brooks] cruiser, and later became the commander of the cruiser squad.

This command technique was no secret within the Twelfth Group Fleet. Since Andre’s thesis was published, this coordination had become standard within the Twelfth Group Fleet. Many other fleet divisions within the Chuckna Interstellar Navy also mastered this cross-position technique. However, everyone present knew, this was definitely not something a Leray person could learn!

Aside from Andre possibly using this technique during his simulation confrontation with Fatty more than two hours ago, allowing Fatty to secretly learn it, they couldn’t find another explanation!

However, this explanation was even more absurd than Andre secretly teaching the command technique to Fatty behind others’ backs.

Although learning an opponent’s tactics in a simulation isn’t impossible, achieving it is extremely difficult.

In fact, many courses in the Command Departments of major military academies require simulations to reinforce intuitive impressions. Especially when teaching tactical control and coordination, many instructors prefer using simulations for case analysis.

Unlike learning stealthily in battle, simulations for teaching have all conditions clearly presented. The simulation program doesn’t continue relentlessly; it can be stopped anytime for detailed explanation. In battle, to learn the opponent’s command techniques, one must allocate most of their energy to dealing with the enemy’s attack, using intelligence provided by the system to infer the opponent’s tactical actions, and further deduce the breakdown of command instructions.

Judging by Fatty’s simulation ability, it’s impressive if he could use several of the conditions provided by the simulation program. When he can only use thirty or forty of his own conditions, where would he have the energy to look at others’ intelligence?

Suspicious glances were cast toward Fatty.

Fatty hadn’t noticed the gazes of Chuckna officers; his entire focus was invested in the simulation confrontation.

To win in the future, you must lose now. This saying is from Fang Xiang.

As the only top student in Saleria Military Academy for hundreds of years with first place in all subjects, Fang Xiang was extremely knowledgeable about commonly used techniques for improving command skills. She knew well that with Fatty’s simulation ability, as long as he allocated his spare condition control to analyzing and learning his opponent’s command skills, basically, there was no technique he couldn’t steal!

Start practicing with these Chuckna guys first, until no one wants to play anymore, then go on the civilian network for Thousand-Mile Victory. Winning or losing doesn’t matter; what matters is forcing each opponent to exert their full effort and making their displayed techniques your own — that’s the learning plan Fang Xiang devised for Fatty after seeing hundreds of Chuckna officers.

In Fang Xiang’s view, playing dumb to catch the tiger is highly suitable for this Fatty, both externally and internally!

After Fang Xiang shared her idea with Fatty, it resulted in Fatty’s silly laughter.

Feeling as if she was aiding a tiger, Fang Xiang gritted her teeth and quickly kicked Fatty out of the office. Even leading the Bandit Army Fleet away, Fang Xiang couldn’t understand why she was heart-set on boosting her enthusiasm about this guy’s improvement in military command skills!

Fatty’s fingers flew over the virtual keyboard, continuously issuing various commands. Thinking about Fang Xiang designing training plans for him, her lush and full lower region under the delicate elastic tube dress pressing into the sofa, creating a rounded mark. Fatty felt sizzling all over. The adrenaline secreted during intense battles was the most natural aphrodisiac. It’s unrelated to morality; it’s every man’s nature. Even if nothing actually happens, taking a visual indulgence is also pleasurable.

Now that Fang Xiang has left with the Bandit Army Fleet, Fatty couldn’t even indulge visually. The only thing left was to follow Fang Xiang’s learning plan, using the present Chuckna gentlemen as his training partners.

He meticulously executed Fang Xiang’s plan, focused and persistent. In every simulation confrontation, he dedicated all his attention to learning his opponents’ command techniques. Tactical implementation control, tactical coordination, firepower and force allocation, formation change usage; these things engrossed him completely. Sixty-nine confrontations amounted to sixty-nine improvements.

On the virtual screen, battleships entangled in combat, densely packed data and constantly unfolding battle reports relentlessly bombarding Fatty’s vision. Fatty’s command technique unknowingly became increasingly proficient.

On the other side of the simulation computer that blocked the view, dozens of Chuckna officers remained silent. When finally this confrontation ended in Fatty’s victory, abruptly, the massive hull of the [Vast] aircraft carrier experienced a minor tremor.

An electronic buzz sounded, Fatty lifted his head, only to see out of the porthole numerous Chuckna warships had somehow already hovered beside the carrier.

1202, 1203 Fleet. Mars Star System, had arrived!

”Fatty!”

Hmm? Fatty turned back, only to see Zhang Pengcheng’s head peeking out from behind the simulation computer: ”You son of a...!”
