Counterfeit Hero

Margaret understands the current mindset of the Feiyang soldiers.

This mentality is normal; even Hastings couldn’t change it, let alone her.

Besides, Margaret has never thought of changing it. Feiyang people are Feiyang people, being the first superpower in the universe, it’s impossible not to be a bit domineering and arrogant, reasoning over everything. Moreover, this doesn’t affect the combat effectiveness of Feiyang soldiers. Thinking they’re the best in the world and not accepting anyone else is the spirit a military should possess.

A bad soldier is harmful for one, a bad commander is harmful for a whole nest. Whether they fight or flee, in the end, it’s all up to the Commander. Like Sammon, even if Fatty beats him up, spits on him, or scores ten fights and drowns him with spit, Margaret won’t even wrinkle her brow for the sake of her Feiyang identity. Feiyang has hundreds of billions of people, and there’s no shortage of unwise, unfilial, selfish individuals. If these kinds of people make mistakes and still get protection, it would be too narrow-minded.

These grassroots Feiyang officers and soldiers causing trouble for Fatty are simply because, as Feiyang people, they have that innate arrogance. They may not know much of the truth, nor necessarily like Sammon, but feel stifled watching Fatty and the Chuckna people rampantly bully Feiyang officers in public, including Carolina, and just can’t stand Fatty spitting on Sammon in public.

If on the first night, they were causing a racket downstairs and Fatty endured it, over time, the resentment might have subsided. Feiyang people are naturally the types who eat soft instead of hard, plus these many years of being superior in human society have given them enough confidence to challenge a Major General of Leray as ordinary officers.

Unfortunately, Fatty is clearly not someone who likes to suffer losses. Ever since failing to gain leads from Fatty and instead losing to him yesterday, the Feiyang soldiers have been at loggerheads with Fatty.

Margaret knows that these officers, when eating and chatting, discuss how to make the Leray fatty suffer. Last night downstairs, she heard the non-stop urgent assembly calls. Today, they are prepared, with several officers standing in the distance, not participating. If Fatty resumes his superior officer stance and repeats his old tricks, they’d immediately report to Carolina.

With Carolina’s temper and her loathing of Fatty, no matter how the grassroots officers mess around, she always indulges them. With her backing, the Feiyang soldiers aren’t afraid of things escalating. If Fatty dares to use the same tactic this time, their actions would not be confined to causing trouble in the training grounds.

A group tackling one, can they even lose?

Today, the officers and soldiers chose to perform combat training on the training grounds. They want to see what kind of reaction Fatty would have after being harassed all night and showcasing his skills on Sammon.

Downstairs, Fatty had already been surrounded by the selected eager-to-fight Feiyang warriors.

Margaret speculated on the outcome of this battle with interest, taking a sip from her teacup.

Just as she took the sip, she sprayed it out.

On the training grounds, Fatty was enthusiastically gesturing to the selected elite warriors—you fight, I guide.

Seeing the Feiyang warriors eyeing each other, at Fatty’s command, with a lollipop in his mouth, they reluctantly began sparring in pairs. Watching Fatty under the guise of guidance ordering them into positions, personally grabbing, twisting, fondling, and rubbing, constantly turning their faces and tilting their chins up and down.

Margaret coughed violently, she felt that this amusing game had just started, and she was already unable to watch.

Standing up, drawing the curtains, in the yellow bedroom light, a thin sleepwear slid off her elegant curves, Margaret barefoot walked to the wardrobe, pulled out her uniform, with a mix of exasperation and amusement.

How could Grandpa and Douglas have such a high opinion of this scoundrel?!

Is it because he’s shameless enough?!

”Look, when his punch comes...” With a lollipop in his mouth, Fatty grabbed a Feiyang soldier posing in a punching stance, muttering, ”You can do this... watch my slow motion.”

Fatty slowly extended his hand, pretending to block the soldier’s arm, then landed a gentle slap on the soldier’s face.

This slap was almost like a lover’s caress, soft and lingering. Coupled with Fatty’s amorous expression, it chilled the backs of the Feiyang soldiers nearby. Especially for the posing soldier assisting, goosebumps and hairs stood up instantly...

As everyone was uncertain, Fatty twisted his legs, squatted down, performed a fairy-sleeve-waving action, and reached for the Feiyang warrior’s crotch...

”Look, this is when you can counterstrike his weak point...”

Seeing Fatty’s eyes glowing green, the posing Feiyang soldier’s soul flew away. Kicking his feet, he stumbled aside, crawling away.

”Uh... roughly like that.” Fatty stood up with a serious face, turning back to the Feiyang soldiers.

Though he was now serious and expressionless, at the moment the soldier dodged, everyone clearly saw Fatty’s unsatisfied, disappointed expression.
