Counterfeit Hero

The most important thing is, this was accomplished even when Fatty’s command linkage was unreasonable! In the specific combat command, some orders were mixed up in sequence, repeated, and conflicted, making Margaret want to drag this guy out of the Simulation Cabin.

A minute later, an even more shocking situation appeared for Margaret.

As the enemy’s attack faltered, the desperate enemy launched a forced assault. Under the cover of artillery fire, six soldiers swiftly dashed towards the position, including an enemy soldier carrying a Portable Missile who hid behind the wreckage of a destroyed Mecha and fired a missile at the energy machine gun emplacement.

With the issuance of an order at the critical moment, this missile actually missed its target.

The gunner and his assistant beside him, holding the machine gun, turned in the pit without stopping pulling the trigger, easily relying on the bulletproof wall to dodge this almost fatal attack. Before this, their attention was focused in another direction, and the only thing that allowed them to dodge the attack was the order from Fatty!

Margaret didn’t know how Fatty discovered the enemy’s attack amid the chaotic battle. She only knew that similar evasion commands were pervasive throughout Fatty’s entire command.

In most cases, the soldiers’ multiple evasions under command seemed very redundant. Even without evasion, they didn’t encounter any fatal strikes. However, Fatty tirelessly issued these almost verbose and lengthy orders whenever he spotted any possible danger, ultimately achieving miraculous results during this Portable Missile attack.

Margaret didn’t stop Fatty’s non-technical maneuvers because she noticed that even though the soldiers kept running and dodging, their defense strength on the position didn’t decrease because of it.

Two soldiers narrowly escaped with their lives. The enemy’s attacks finally waned irreversibly.

With a crisp electronic sound, the team commanded by Fatty achieved victory as determined by the system without any casualties!

Margaret repeatedly reviewed the data and recalled the entire battle process. For a moment, she didn’t know how to describe her feelings.

She could see that in terms of basic command skills, Fatty was absolutely a rookie. The configuration and usage of combat power in the battle, the tactical connection, and even the wording and sequence of issuing orders were a complete mess. Yet, he managed to completely defeat the computer. Besides his imaginative tactical thinking, the most crucial factor was his ability to utilize conditions simultaneously! Once he undergoes professional training, his seamless control and unmatched foresight are enough to make him a Great General.

No wonder her grandfather wanted her to pay attention to this person. He indeed had something extraordinary. If necessary… then this person is truly an indispensable candidate.

Should she teach him something seriously?

Fatty looked at Margaret with anticipation on his face, waited for a long time without seeing this frowning beautiful woman give any praise or amazement. Just as he was about to show a displeased face, he saw her smile sweetly at him.

”Fatty, try playing squad-level matches, and I’ll talk to you about tactical skills.” Margaret’s smile was sweet, and her words were exactly what Fatty wanted. But somehow, as soon as he saw Margaret’s smiling face, Fatty felt a shiver in his heart.

This little fox, what is she plotting against me now?!

One eager to learn, the other eager to teach. Between the two, a tacit understanding unfurled out of nowhere. They stayed in the room until the afternoon, playing squad-level matches, one after another.

”Commands should be concise. In this scenario, you should say it like….”

”When ordering these warriors to reposition and prevent enemy encirclement, you must first issue position adjustment commands; otherwise, without personnel to fill in, it will lead to decreased firepower intensity at the position. Especially during the enemy’s frontal assault, even if their encirclement fails, reducing firepower pressure has an effect….”

”For air combat, there are two hundred basic tactical terms, the most commonly used are thirty….”

”Wrong… You shouldn’t immediately deploy reserve forces. Your armored units can still hold on for a while, deploying reserve forces now does not maximize operational benefit.”

Margaret’s voice constantly surfaced at crucial moments in his ear.

Fatty accepted this information without hesitation, trying hard to understand and convert it, then immediately applying it in the matches. He discovered that these commands refined through countless human warfare, the techniques proven time and again, the tactical connection methods, and the key points for implementing operational plans significantly enhanced the Commander’s directive efficiency.

Watching Fatty absorb the techniques she explained with sponge-like speed, Margaret was extremely stunned inside.

This Fatty was the best student she had ever seen.

No statement needed repeating twice. Any problem once mentioned was never repeated by this Fatty. Whether infantry, Mecha, or even space battles, similar problems were dealt with by applying the techniques taught to him, using them by analogy.
