”At this time, I think this Fleet Commander of the Suss Fleet must be quite frustrated, right?”

Major General Marshall looked at the main screen, where the Suss A1 Fleet was clearly in chaos, and sighed.

In the command room hall below the command platform, there was already dead silence. All the staff officers had stood up, watching the large screen long-range viewer image with rapt attention, holding their breath.

”If it were you... would you be frustrated?” Zhang Pengcheng, appearing relaxed, took a bottle of vintage red wine from the attendant who came from his room, poured a glass, and handed it to Marshall. Tilting his head to pour another glass, he laughed and said, ”If I were played with like this, I’d probably be dying for a break!”

”Indeed!” Marshall swirled the red wine in his hand and sighed: ”Who would have thought, from the beginning, this Major General of Leray was laying out this Luu Zecheng Formation! Having the Luu Zecheng Formation attack his own allies right under his nose, it’s beyond just a matter of victory or defeat. If word gets out, this Suss Fleet Commander might as well drown in spit.”

”Here they come!” The bustling command room suddenly erupted in noise.

Zhang Pengcheng and Marshall walked over to the curved guardrail of the command platform, looking at the main screen of the central control desk. In the void, a wave of light rippled. The bows of several Suss Battleships emerged from the void simultaneously. Then, within a second, a massive fleet, like a magician’s egg, suddenly appeared.

As this fleet appeared, the Chuckna Warship group, already prepared, suddenly spewed a series of dazzling white lights.

The fleet-wide attack of the clustered battleship groups is aggregated together. Like two white spears, they pierced the two diagonal points of the front formation of the Suss A2 Fleet, crossing through the center of the formation before penetrating the rear wing of the formation. In the two large penetrating holes, Suss Battleships without activated energy shields fractured and exploded.

The mixed group of cruisers and destroyers in the S19 space was conducting named attacks. Battleships paired in groups, rows of energy cannon beams flashed like the cold gleam of this curved battle formation swung out as blades. After the first round of strikes by five mixed cruiser-destroyer groups, the forefront of the triangular attack formation of the A2 Fleet already turned to ashes; the second round of attacks from five other mixed groups directly cut into the center of the Suss battleship formation.

In the command room, all Chuckna officers and soldiers watched in utter silence. Some tight-fisted, gnashing teeth, others with glowing eyes and flushed faces. And some, already excited enough to have goosebumps and standing hairs, eager to shout aloud.

Retaliation! The encounter of Fleet 1201 more than an hour ago was now doubled and returned to the Suss people!

Nothing is more exhilarating at this moment, more heart-stirring!

The entire ”Vast” Space Carrier remained in utter silence. Thousands of officers and soldiers gathered in the hangar, launch corridor preparation area, navigation control room, corridors, maintenance hangars... no one was sitting. Everyone was staring intently at the screen, breathing heavily. Each one felt that at this moment, standing beside them were not only familiar companions but also the souls in heaven of tens of thousands of comrades who had perished in the transition zone an hour ago!

Their souls are watching their comrades in this starry sky, avenging them!

Cannon light flashed continuously.

The defenseless A2 Fleet melted like snow under the intense white light.

And the A1 Fleet in the S21 space had no way to stop the slaughter-like attack from Fleet 1201. Their battleships were still entangled with the Chuckna Fighter Group, and their cruisers and destroyers’ bows and current positions could not threaten any of the three major attacking groups of Chuckna.

Zhang Pengcheng and Marshall raised their glasses, clinking once, and drank it all in one go. Then, both fiercely punched the air!

On the virtual screen, the A2 Fleet’s carrier shuddered in the frantic barrage, riddled with holes.

When this mother ship became a mass of blinding white light, extending horizontally over the entire A2 Fleet during the second salvo of the battleships — thunderous cheers exploded across every corner of the Chuckna Warships, like a booming thunder!

”We won!” The young warriors jumped up in ecstasy.

”We won! We won!” A major shouted, almost frantically. Such an outcome was one he wouldn’t have dared to imagine an hour ago.

”We won?” A mechanic soldier, fixing the damaged fighter belly, emerged, staring blankly at his jumping, jubilant, and high-fiving companion who was celebrating like crazed kangaroos.

”We won!” A sergeant artilleryman swung his burly arms, giving a bear hug to his companion who missed the most exciting scene: ”We took out their mother ship!”

The young mechanic soldier stood stunned, disbelief etched across his face.

Yet, on the virtual screen beside him, the sustained explosions of the Suss aircraft carrier, the reckless debris continuing to crash through the space, confirmed the sergeant’s words.

The losses of the A2 Fleet at this moment exceeded fifty percent. Under Chuckna Fleet’s persistent attack, they, in chaos, had no power to resist. And the destruction of this Suss aircraft carrier, which accounted for thirty percent of the fleet’s combat strength and housed the fleet’s command and integrated the entire informational electronic combat platform, basically sealed their doomed fate.
