Counterfeit Hero

Whether it’s light reflection, ultrasound, particle-sensing radar, or material scanner, all are restricted by the complex and adverse geographical environment of the obstacle zone. Long-range spectral analysis and optical telescopes are similarly useless. And the particle storms, electromagnetic chaos, and gravitational reefs frequently appearing inside the obstacle zone are nightmares for all electronic systems of the battleships.

Including electronic attack systems, ship control systems, coordination systems, communications systems, command systems.... the higher the degree of electronicization, the harsher the blow it suffers. Here, the most reliable and safest solutions are the simplest and most primitive mechanisms.

Imagine a fleet entering an obstacle zone surrounded by asteroids and various harsh environments, ambushed by an enemy fleet occupying favorable terrain, it would be such a tragic situation.

However, seeing the Feiyang B-Class Fleet entering the Smoke Lake Barrier Zone, the commander of the Suss Saleria Front Army’s First Group Fleet, Alexander Brumridge, merely displayed a slight mocking smile at the corner of his mouth. The fleet he commanded followed closely behind the Feiyang Fleet, plunging into the obstacle zone without any hesitation.

This Feiyang B-Class Fleet commander chose the right strategy but not the right direction.

The Smoke Lake Barrier Zone spans 800,000 kilometers, with varying density. Aside from various harsh environments, there is also an obstacle-free space connecting the jump channel. This space is called the Space Oasis by humans traveling through it. For ships navigating the obstacle zone, reaching this Space Oasis feels like arriving at a calm harbor from raging waves.

If you compare the whole Smoke Lake Barrier Zone to an irregular dough, then the Space Oasis and the jump channels they connect are like three matchsticks inserted upside down into the dough. The Space Oasis forms the matchhead of the three matches together. Through the oasis, ships can choose to enter any jump channel, leave the Smoke Lake Barrier Zone, or conversely, jump into the Smoke Lake Barrier Zone from elsewhere, diverting to the main channel section leading to the 1851 or 1871 star systems.

For the Feiyang B15 Fleet, the best way to escape from the pursuit of the Suss Fleet is to reach the Space Oasis and leave through one of the three jump channels. As long as they jump out of the range of the Suss Fleet’s pursuit, in the 1861 Star System alone, there’s plenty of space for the fleet to maneuver.

But unfortunately.... Brumridge played with a pitch-black ebony pipe, gazing at that small oasis on the interstellar map. This Feiyang B-Class Fleet wouldn’t know, the Space Oasis lying in their direction is not the door to escape for them. Instead, according to Admiral Gershkov’s plan, they have automatically jumped into a deeper trap.

The A1 Fleet will continually drive this Feiyang B-Class Fleet to the oasis. If nothing else, the Chuckna Fleet will appear there in twenty minutes.

Next is a tangled battle, until the Suss A2 Fleet unexpectedly appears through the jump channel there.

By then, the expressions on the faces of the Fei Alliance people will be very interesting!

”The Feiyang Fleet has entered the Smoke Lake Barrier Zone, fleeing toward the oasis. The Suss Fleet is only twelve thousand kilometers away from them!”

”The Chuckna Republic Fleet has turned to exit the obstacle zone, entering the jump channel.”

”The tail of the Feiyang Fleet is under attack by the Suss Fleet.”

”The reconnaissance ship can’t keep up, we’ve lost track of the Feiyang Fleet and the Suss Fleet.”

”The Suss Transport Fleet has already adjusted its course, passed the first segment of the obstacle zone, and is entering the second segment.”

On the Holy Sword battleship, Fatty sat quietly in the chair, listening to the reports buzzing in his ear one after another.

The battle between A-Class fleets is absolutely something the current Bandit Army Fleet cannot directly participate in.

It’s like a stumbling young lion trying to intervene in a fight between several adult male lions.... the only outcome is being crushed, with flesh and blood blurred.

”Order the 03 reconnaissance ship to head to the oasis airspace,” Fang Xiang’s voice came to Fatty’s ear: ”02 reconnaissance ship, continue to closely monitor the movements of the Suss Transport Ship. 01 and 04 reconnaissance ships, withdraw to the edge of the Smoke Lake Barrier Zone.”

”Second segment......” Fatty sat up straight, regardless of the battle situation between the Fei Alliance and the Suss Fleet, at least he had a chance to target the Suss Transport Fleet heading toward the Smoke Lake Barrier Zone’s exit!

Twenty million Fei Yuan worth of materials, a giant transport ship completely suitable for aircraft carrier modification, is indeed a great supplement!

”Live proudly or die trying.”

Fatty wiped his mouth.

First, hit this transport fleet, then talk!
