Counterfeit Hero

Vast space, beams of energy cannon light intersecting. Amidst the dazzling white light, warships of steel swiftly shuttle, maneuver, fire, and evade. Their red or blue energy shields make the fast-moving battleships look like colorful fireflies dancing in the night sky.

The twelve battleships of the Chuckna 1201 Fleet have been divided into two clusters, advancing at high speed clockwise and counterclockwise. Three thousand kilometers diagonally ahead of them, the main formation of fifteen battleships from the Suss Fleet is slowly retreating. More than twenty massive main battle warships, in this advance and retreat, continue to fiercely exchange main cannon volleys.

The Suss Battleship Cardov silently glides through the void. Like a giant cigar-shaped ship, under the starry light, its appearance shifts between light and dark.

From a human perspective, this Typhoon-class II battleship is indeed a space giant. Its massive size, rigid cold lines, and formidable appearance. The iron-gray external armor is like large, neatly cut rectangular iron blocks wrapping the ship’s body. Countless symmetrical chambers, square rotating turrets protruding from various places on the hull.

On the forward deck, the sharply defined rectangular bridge is surrounded by robust energy shield generators on both sides, and above it, radar, external viewing instruments, and an auxiliary cannon with a thirty-meter-long barrel. Behind the brightly lit six rows of portholes, two giant propellers extend to the starboard and port of the stern. Eight blue-glowing jet ports drag a comet-like blue ion stream of Flowing Light.

The entire warship looks like an ancient warrior covered in cold armor, full of aggression. It embodies both a thick modern industrial feel and the cold cruelty of a post-apocalyptic world.

Currently, this warship, under the thrust of the port-side forward group and the starboard-side aft group of Steering Propulsion, is slowly shifting the bow to the right.

As the main cannon on the bow and three auxiliary cannons laid out in a triangular formation envelop in white light, a large and three small bursts of energy cannon light suddenly erupt. The light clusters, trailing long, straight light tails, slice through the void, grazing the stern of a Chuckna Battleship, shooting into the far reaches of the universe.

”Hard to starboard 200 marks, charge the main cannon!”

”Targeting computer tracking, trajectory computation......”

As the ineffective attack message from SkyNet swiftly flashes, the battleship control room, previously tense and breath-holding, erupts in noise again.

”Enemy ship escaped the fifteen-degree attack zone.”

”Maintain speed, bow turns 500 marks, initiate Number 3 Steering Propulsion......”

”Enemy ship entering attack zone! Main cannon charged, Fire Control Radar identification, target locked, firing solution verification complete, 5, 4...”

”Cease fire! Cease fire! Damn it! The Takisis cruiser is ahead of us.”

”Captain, the Takisis cruiser is under siege from two Chuckna Cruisers! Next to it the Solanis is also entangled with two Chuckna Destroyers! They’re sending us a distress signal!”

”Curved advancement, move to the side, attack that Chuckna Cruiser with the red bow.”

”Yes!”

”Captain, the Chuckna Cruiser is circling us.”

”These damned Chuckna people. Get Takisis to cooperate with us, they’re sitting in the middle blocking us, how can we attack?!”

”They ran away, Captain, the two Destroyers besieging the Solanis ran off. These damn Chuckna people move so fast. It happens every time! The Solanis is lightly damaged, turning back to support Takisis.”

”Excellent, signal the Solanis to block those two Chuckna Cruisers, coordinate to take them out! Don’t let those two Chuckna Cruisers escape either!”

”Solanis replies, understood!”

”Hard to starboard 1200 marks, hurry and fire, the distance to the main formation is widening, we need to return!”

”Captain, port side six hundred kilometers, a Chuckna Cruiser is charging towards us!”

”What?! Where did he come from? All port-side turrets, fire. Hard to port 1200 marks, serpentine maneuver evasive action.”

”Boom!” with a loud explosion, the entire Cardov battleship shudders, the alarm on the SkyNet Control Console’s damage control system screams shrilly, red lights representing system damage continuously flash. Lights flicker in the shaking, bright and dim.

”We’ve been hit, the energy shield has dropped by forty-six percent.”

”Turn around, turn around, fire!”

”Captain, that Chuckna Cruiser fled. Damn it, they fire once and run again!”

”Captain, Solanis requests support, those two Chuckna Destroyers have returned. They’ve circled behind the Solanis!”

”Turn the helm, approach the Solanis. Have Solanis pivot around us using a circular arc, we’ll screen for them!”

”Captain, those two Chuckna Destroyers have run again!”

”Damn it!”

”Captain, Takisis can’t hold on!”

”Have Solanis join us to surround them! Quickly, let’s show these damned Chuckna people a lesson!”

”Hard to starboard 1500 marks!”

”God, Takisis is finished!”

”Captain, those two Chuckna Destroyers have returned again! Oh my gosh.......this time it’s four!”

”Captain, the two Chuckna Cruisers attacking Takisis are advancing towards the Solanis.”

”Captain, starboard eight hundred kilometers, a Chuckna Cruiser has locked onto us. Damn it, it’s the same one that just attacked us!”
