Counterfeit Hero

Carl lowered his head, muttering, ”The Four-star simulation assessment was a long time ago.”

Cecilia didn’t hear Carl’s mumbling and continued, ”Moreover, battle plans are all based on known conditions. If conditions change, the plan becomes vulnerable. The less room for maneuver, the greater the danger, especially when the few face the many... Among all the known conditions we have now, several are your speculations, right?”

”I have a basis for these speculations...” Carl stammered, trying to explain.

Fatty shook his head. With Carl’s demeanor, his plan, whether right or wrong, is unclear. What is needed now is for the plan to be reviewed through simulation calculations. The program has the most authority.

Ignoring a group of bickering staff officers, Fatty walked to a simulation computer against the wall, inserted the battle plan folder into the card slot, called up the program, and began drawing symbols exclusive to the Ancient Deduction Technique on the screen while marking them on the interstellar map.

”What’s your take on the battle plan?” Fang Xiang noticed Fatty and gracefully sat down next to him.

”What?” Fatty’s hands didn’t stop moving, his eyes covertly glancing at Fang Xiang’s beautiful legs crossed under her cheongsam.

Fang Xiang’s legs are long and straight, with dainty and delicate ankle bones, looking very alluring. Fatty secretly praised her in his heart, this cheap sister is indeed a charming temptress. The fire in his heart kindled by Helen seemed to burn even more vigorously. His adrenaline secretion always surged before every great battle.

”Don’t you think this plan is too risky?” Fang Xiang furrowed her brows slightly, ”The other side’s escort fleet is a D-class fleet!”

”Are there any loopholes in the battle plan?” Fatty continued to draw symbols on the virtual screen.

”No.” Fang Xiang pursed her lips and, after a moment of concentration, finally shook her head, ”However, I think we should choose a target that is easier to handle.”

”Easier to handle...” Fatty shook his head vigorously, ”Also means a decrease in target value. I know you’re worried about our first attack on a regular Suss Logistics Fleet with escort vessels. But, precisely because it’s our first sneak attack, we should cherish the opportunity. Otherwise, if we waste our first attempt on a worthless target, all we will achieve is alerting the enemy, gaining nothing. In this regard, I agree with Carl.”

”But...” Fang Xiang’s eyes showed some concern as she looked at Fatty, ”I always feel that planning such an attack is a momentary impulse fueled by anger at our current stage.”

”Even if it’s impulsive, fine.” Fatty’s simulation ended, and he stared blankly at the virtual screen, ”A soldier without a bit of impulsiveness, is that still a soldier?”

”This is war! A soldier’s duty...” Fatty turned around, staring at Fang Xiang, ”is to fight for this country. The more enemies we destroy, the safer our country, our nation will be! Therefore... we need a bit of appropriate impulsiveness!”

As Fatty spoke, he patted Fang Xiang’s leg, ”Don’t worry, I haven’t let anger cloud my mind. There are many ways to avenge Hamilton, to retaliate for everything lost to this country. Exchanging life for life is the stupidest way. I’m not that foolish!”

A sincere smile appeared on his face. Behind the seemingly sincere expression, Fatty secretly rejoiced in his heart—the sister’s leg is truly white, tender, slender, and smooth.

. Report to the government, I didn’t get home until almost 11 PM on the 14th. I really wasn’t up to anything bad outside. The reason I couldn’t update is that my schedule was too packed; it wasn’t playtime, it was more like a non-stop rush from one scenic spot to another for torture. Plus, I don’t have the typing speed of those beasts, who can tell me how many thousands of words they typed over a cup of tea... It’s so stressful. I’ve decided to make up for my inadequacies with hard work.

From today onwards, I’m giving it my all! Everyone, please support with monthly tickets, recommendation tickets.

Guaranteed 5000 words daily, more updates if I write more. An on-time outburst is probably nonsense; instead, I’ll just take unplanned leaves!
