Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 28: Chapter 26: Changes in the Church

Luna’s remark made Gu Xi laugh instead.

”Change it, change it right away, and change my part first.”

After speaking, Gu Xi looked at Luna, and Luna understood what Gu Xi meant. She pointed to the entrance of the Assembly Hall.

”Just put it inside, and once it’s placed, it will automatically transform.”

Gu Xi looked in the direction Luna pointed to and noticed that at some point, a large wooden chest had appeared there.

Blue metal edging, it was immediately clear it was a treasure chest.

With a place to store the Deceitful Energy Pearls, Gu Xi didn’t need to direct. The Skeletons themselves put Gu Xi’s share of Deceitful Energy Pearls into the wooden chest.

Gu Xi stood in front of the wooden chest and took a look, discovering that he could actually see the information inside the chest.

[Small Treasure Chest: Negative Energy Points (317/10000), Wood (9/100), Stone (8/100), Metal (3/100), Gem (0/20), Sulfur (0/20), Crystal (0/20), Mercury (0/20)]

While Gu Xi was checking the supplies in the chest, Luna was still speaking on the side.

”We can only use this for now. Once we have enough resources and build a Warehouse, the things we can store will increase.”

Gu Xi didn’t say much. He was curious about where the Wood, Stone, and Metal in the chest came from.

At this moment, Gu Xi noticed that when the Skeletons were cleaning up the battlefield, they also threw the obstacles damaged by the dark Deceitful Shadow into the chest, which were the sources of materials like Wood and Stone.

Thinking about it, this was actually a good thing; at least Gu Xi had materials and wouldn’t be clueless about where to get them.

After putting everything collected from the battlefield into the chest, Gu Xi waved his hand and led these Skeletons toward the direction of the church.

As they moved in that direction, Luna explained the various situations of the church to Gu Xi.

”The churches in Victoria City are actually styled with a chapel in the front and a cemetery in the back. Especially the church we are going to is one of Victoria’s earliest churches.

I believe there is a certain reason why the church was the first to mutate.”

Gu Xi thought for a moment and then said, ”Are you suggesting that they didn’t replicate the church completely at that time?”

”Yes, even if those people copied it one-to-one, they couldn’t have replicated everything inside the church. Not to mention, all the graves in the cemetery behind the church were empty.”

Luna explained.

Gu Xi had thought about that earlier too.

However, what Luna mentioned later was unexpected for Gu Xi.

”At the same time, in the central position of the church, there is a Stone Coffin of a knight that James I couldn’t replicate.”

Gu Xi nodded after hearing this, ”Don’t even mention a knight, he couldn’t replicate the body of even an ordinary person one-to-one.”

”No, this knight is Bous.”

”Oh, it’s Bous.” Gu Xi actually didn’t know who Bous was, but since Luna said so, Gu Xi had to show some respect.

However, after taking a few steps, Gu Xi stopped and turned his head to look at Luna.

”For a knight you explain so seriously, is it possible he was a Round Table Knight?”

”Yes, I thought you already knew.”

Gu Xi had heard of the stories of the Round Table Knights, but among them, only three or four had clear burial places, and the rest’s burial sites were unknown.

To find out that this church actually buried a Round Table Knight made Gu Xi somewhat surprised.

”Tell me first, what happened with this church in the end?”

”I don’t know either. From the information I saw, it seems that the church was demolished some year and Knight Bous was moved to Westminster Cathedral.”

”Luna, I suddenly have an idea. If, I mean if I go to Victoria Westminster Cathedral and bring Knight Bous’s body here, placing it in our little church, what do you think will happen?”

For Gu Xi’s question, Luna hadn’t considered this either.

She previously asked Gu Xi to leave an anchor in Victoria City to gain information and entry to other Mirror Cities.

But she never thought about smuggling in things that weren’t previously replicated.

Now, with Gu Xi’s suggestion, Luna realized.

”Sir, that’s a great idea. We can not only bring Knight Bous’s body over, but we can also find those bodies that were originally buried behind the church.

There are indeed records of where these bodies went after the church was demolished, and as long as we can find the bodies, we can bring them in.”

Regarding the difficulty of transporting bodies, neither Gu Xi nor Luna had considered this.

Gu Xi, holding the skill of Death City, could open the gates of Yalidu City as soon as they were built, making it convenient to bring in either Undead or other things anytime.

Now they were more concerned about whether bringing these bodies in would cause any significant changes to the church.

As they were considering this, they coincidentally arrived in front of the church.

Upon seeing the church, Gu Xi understood its Level; it was obviously just a village church.

The church was not large. After pushing the door and entering, it had four rows of benches inside, and in the center, there was a Stone Coffin.

A Longsword and a Shield were placed on the Stone Coffin, symbolizing that a knight was buried there.

Going out the side door of the church, they could circle to the cemetery behind the church, where the tombstones were all replicated one-to-one, and even the coffins were there, but without the bodies. The whole cemetery was empty.

Others might not be able to tell, but as an Undead Mage, Gu Xi could immediately see whether there were bodies in the graves.

Faced with this situation, Gu Xi couldn’t help but shake his head. It seemed that Yalidu City becoming a Death City wasn’t without reason.

After making a round in the church, Gu Xi waved to the Skeletons behind him.

On the way over, Gu Xi had already had the surviving Skeletons digest the Deceitful Energy Pearls, thereby managing to put together twenty 3-Level Skeleton Soldiers.

When Gu Xi entered the church, they all waited outside.

Now with Gu Xi’s signal, these Skeleton Soldiers entered the church.

As they stepped into the church, Skeletons began to appear on the benches.

At the same time, a string of information popped up in front of Gu Xi.
