His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2185: Chapter 635: A Year Later (12) Rumor Has It, They’re Not Divorced Yet

Qin Mu didn’t think much about it, she just thought that the Mu Family couldn’t bear to let her take the child away, but when Helian Hao said this, she couldn’t help but feel a bit melancholic.

”Xiaohao! I want to go back to Paris!”

She looked down at her empty fingers and murmured.

Helian Hao looked at her, not understanding.

Helian Hao’s daughter slid off her lap, was taken away by the aunt holding a toy, Qin Mu watched her walk away, then turned to Helian Hao: ”What can I do by staying here?”

”Make up! You two, don’t you really want to be separated from him forever?”

Helian Hao immediately voiced her thoughts, she actually thought Mu Yichen was quite capable of retaining Qin Mu, although not very aboveboard, but being able to keep her was a skill.

”Make up? We’ve broken up and gotten back together so many times over the years, I already don’t care whether we’re together or not!”

Qin Mu smiled bitterly, slightly shook her head, and then touched her fingers while murmuring.

Helian Hao was even more puzzled, frowning tightly.

”I’m living well now, aside from feeling a bit guilty towards those siblings, I’ve actually been living very freely, there’s no need to constantly worry if he’s unhappy, no need to fear if he doesn’t come home at night, no need to worry about him having unclear relations with other women, and no need to worry that one day we might end up like my parents, fighting to the death. I’m just simply doing what I love, and I really feel I’m living well now.”

Qin Mu finished speaking and turned to look at her, even her smile was so sincere.

”Qin Mu, do you know what you’re saying?”

”I know!”

Facing Helian Hao’s panicked questioning, Qin Mu answered seriously with two words.

Helian Hao tightly clasped Qin Mu’s hand, unable to understand her, was Qin Mu really someone who would give up so easily?

”And the child?”

”I thought it was simple about the child when I came, but the moment I entered his office, I understood that I wouldn’t gain anything from this trip, let alone him not giving me the child, even his mother would definitely not give me the child.”

Qin Mu shook her head powerlessly as she spoke, she had known it all along, her hot-headed impulse to come back that day, but in the end...

”We’ve been hoping you’d come back, actually no one wants the child to leave with you, everyone is hoping you’d stay.”

Helian Hao was still holding her hand, reluctant to let go.

”Are you really willing to be alone in Paris, aren’t you afraid of loneliness?”

Helian Hao couldn’t help but ask her again, looking at her with sincere and worried eyes.

”When I was thrown out as a child, I felt lonely and scared, but when I returned to Paris last year, I found not only did I not feel lonely, I actually felt very comfortable and liked it.”

Qin Mu smiled softly.

”You’re determined to part ways with Mu Yichen, you two, did you really get divorced?”

Helian Hao couldn’t help but ask her about it, everyone said they were divorced, and there were even photos from the civil affairs bureau to prove it, but she always felt it was impossible.

Qin Mu didn’t respond, just looked down at her own hand.

Seeing her like that, Helian Hao considered it as tacit acknowledgment, or perhaps she was too hurt to speak.

Helian Hao couldn’t help but hug her, gently rubbing her shoulder: ”Fool, you just can’t let him go.”

Qin Mu was indignant, why couldn’t she let go? She certainly could, or maybe she already had.

But last night, the feeling of two lonely bodies snuggling for warmth lingered in her mind.

No matter, she didn’t want to think about anything anymore, just hugged Helian Hao back: ”When I leave this time, if anything happens to those siblings, please let me know.”

”Okay!”

Helian Hao agreed, but hugged her even tighter, unable to bear seeing her leave just like that.

”Mumu, when you are alone in Paris, what if you get sick? Who will cook for you? Who will remind you to take your medicine? Who will take you to the hospital?”

Helian Hao hugged her, whispering the questions, she was very afraid, afraid of Qin Mu being lonely there by herself.

”I’ve lived like that before, when I was so young and could do it, now I’m an adult, how could I not take care of myself? Don’t worry!”

Half an hour later, Old Master Jing’s car drove out from the Jing Family courtyard. Xiang Hang glanced at the car outside, knowing it was Old Master Jing’s car, so he didn’t move and continued to wait outside.

And Qin Mu was sitting inside that car.

”Back then I told you not to be together, yet you couldn’t be separated, and now you actually want to leave him yourself, Qin Mu, do you regret it?”
