His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2181: Chapter 633: One Year Later (10) Intentional Arrangement

The sky gradually became a layer of dim yellow!

Cars and people came and went at the entrance of the JY Store!

Mu Yichen stood outside, lit a cigarette, took a couple of puffs, and then knocked on the door.

Qin Mu was still looking at the view from the window, slightly turned her face upon hearing the sound, but soon focused on the outside again, with a faint voice: ”Come in!”

She thought it was Wang Li opening the door, but turned around to see the man in a crisp suit, Mu Yichen.

She had changed out of her morning dress, in blue pointed leather shoes paired with blue trousers, a white shirt, and her long hair lazily scattered over her shoulders.

It was just that her face had become slightly smaller than last year, otherwise, he would really think time had reversed, and they were back to how they were a year ago.

”Why did you come?”

Qin Mu asked him softly, lowered her arms, and walked toward the sofa.

”Didn’t I promise to pick up Huanhuan after school? The time is almost here.”

Mu Yichen said, casually glancing at the watch on his wrist.

Qin Mu lifted her eyes and saw the familiar watch on his wrist matching hers, but unfortunately, the cuff of his shirt was rolled up, and she couldn’t hide her watch, so she accepted it calmly.

”Let’s go!”

Many words stuck in her throat, yet she didn’t know which sentence to say first, and in the end, didn’t say anything, simply lowered her head, picked up the blue coat perfectly draped on the sofa, and walked ahead.

It wasn’t intending to wear the color he liked, just that it’s also her favorite color.

Qin Mu followed Mu Yichen out of the store, Xiang Hang quickly stubbed out the cigarette he had just lit, wanting to follow, but Mu Yichen said indifferently: ”Stay here!”

Xiang Hang raised his eyes, seeing that Mu Yichen was serious, stopped again, just watched as Qin Mu got into Mu Yichen’s car from the passenger side, feeling a bit eerie.

Why did he feel like his boss’s wife was being coerced?

Xiang Hang lowered his head and looked at the extinguished cigarette, subconsciously glanced inside again, then quietly lit another one and slowly walked a bit further away.

On the road, Mu Yichen, seemingly in a good mood, asked her: ”Have you seen Helian Hao’s kid?”

”No!”

Qin Mu thought, now staying here, she should go and properly meet them.

”A very cute little girl, though she’s still a bit behind our Huanhuan.”

Mu Yichen chatted light-heartedly with her, although without much expression on his face, his mood was obviously okay.

Qin Mu listened to him, becoming more curious about the child’s appearance, just that Mu Yichen’s habit of saying his own family is the best, wondering if he also says this in front of Jing Feng, very likely.

”Huanhuan is very adept at using a knife and fork now, wanting to show off in front of you, called the teacher at noon and asked me to book a table at a Western restaurant, going to have Western food tonight.”

Mu Yichen told her casually, like chatting, explaining the situation to her.

Qin Mu had nothing to say, but also wanted to see how skilled her daughter was with a knife and fork now.

However, if this were the case...

He asked her to stay, probably wanting her to accompany the child, right?

Although he said it was best for her not to see that sibling pair again, but loving them as much as he did, how could he truly not let their mother and daughter meet?

”Hmm!”

Qin Mu gently agreed, not arguing against him.

Mu Yichen, hearing her agree so obediently, turned to glance at her a bit uneasily. Qin Mu was about to respond, but her phone rang from her bag, a call from Paris.

”The studio!”

Qin Mu said softly to him, then answered the call.

Mu Yichen stopped talking, just quietly listened to her phone conversation.

She said she was staying in Rongcheng for two days as some matters still need handling.

Mu Yichen thought, this matter might never be resolved, unless...

After finishing the call, Qin Mu suddenly turned to him: ”Didn’t Mom say you had to go to AM tonight to deliver gifts to Miss Chen?”

Mu Yichen lifted his eyes, looked in the rearview mirror, her question was sudden, but regardless of why she finally remembered, he smoothly answered with a light smile: ”I’ve booked the Western restaurant right on top of AM.”

Therefore, it won’t interfere with the birthday.

Qin Mu’s expression stiffened a little once she figured it out.

The sun set in the west, and the scenery of the city seemed to suddenly blur.

She turned and looked at the scenery outside the window, no words.

The car waited for a short time at the school entrance, Feng Fanghua called Mu Yichen, Mu Yichen told Feng Fanghua: ”Already at the school entrance, don’t worry, as for Chen Xiaoyi’s birthday, I haven’t forgotten, naturally prepared the gifts, Huanhuan is about to finish school, I’ll hang up first.”
