Beneath the Red Dragon

In order to possess the power to destroy all enemies, the soul of the Death Giant was bound by a contract in the plane of negative energy, and its connection to the Realm of Profanity granted them spell-like abilities and enormous power surpassing other souls, which are difficult for other giant species to possess.

When the Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam flew over this region, a massive head emerged from the swamp.

This was the ruler of the Death Giants, but his head was different from other giants.

It appeared gaunt, with bony plates growing from the skin forming bone armor covering the sides of the giant’s cheeks, long pointed ears, and dark skin.

A thin mist formed of smoke enveloped the Death Giant, within which countless faces screamed in fear and pain.

”Eternal Punishment Dragon? The guardian from countless years ago, now a slave and wild dog,...” The orange eyes of the Death Giant watched the form of the Eternal Punishment Dragon until it flew into the distance, no longer visible, before finally sinking back into the swamp.

In addition to the Death Giant, there were some particularly powerful giants that dared to confront the Multi-armed Giant Mogyes head-on, and this is why Mogyes wanted to conquer the giant species first.

Only by uniting the power of all giant species could Mogyes have the strength to rule these mountains.

And only through wars targeting giants would Mogyes’s conquests not be easily hindered by other races.

These ancient races, though powerful, had over the long years developed habitual rules for their respective territories, unable to even imagine that Mogyes actually intended to conquer all the races among them, soaking in warm water, indifferent.

The Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam avoided the fierce giants using the knowledge passed down in the dragon inheritance of its bloodline. However, in front of a high peak, it was still struck by sudden arcane magic and divine-like skill power.

Boom,

Fireworks blossomed on the left side of the body of the Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam; this was the Flame Strike Skill, a divine-like skill most favored by evil giants for clearing fields and warnings.

The Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam quickly ascended its flight position, only to see two tall brown-haired evil giants coming out from a cave in the mountain peak ahead, which was suffused with abundant arcane magic elemental power.

These two evil giants resembled an entirely giant-sized version of a human, the only difference being their light purple skin, and nearly every inch of their bodies was marked with strange and mysterious runes.

”Get lost, leave this place, Dragon, it’s not like before, this is the domain of the evil giants, not a place where you can freely patrol.”

The two evil giants laughed heartily, full of sarcasm.

These evil giants, known as the longest-lived among the giant species, have an average natural lifespan that can even exceed three thousand years, possessing a lifespan even dragons find unbelievable.

Because dragons, in their old age, still need to face the test of time, but these evil giants do not.

Parallel to such a long lifespan is the excellent wisdom of these giants.

Unlike other crude giant species, evil giants enjoy spending a lot of time studying magic, collecting lost magic items, or creating their own magic items, using Magic Permanence to create various strange devices.

In addition, evil giants also delve into arcane magic and divine art, making them the most outstanding casters among giants, and it is this confidence that they never fear Mogyes, the legendary Multi-armed Giant.

This is also a rare giant species that can live independently because in their caves, there are always all kinds of powerful and strange magical means protecting them, and due to the resistance against Mogyes’s subordinates, these evil giants have already gathered from solitary dwelling to living together.

Moreover, these evil giants who enjoy manipulating and bullying other giant kin have already gathered a considerable number of low-tier giants around their lairs, like the weaker Hill Giants.

But these evil giants are not the most dangerous ones, at least not for Dragons and Giant Dragons, the more deadly ones are the kinds of giants submitting and serving Golden Dragons outside—Cloud Giants.

The Cloud Giants in this mountain range are as vicious and malignant as the God of Giants they worship.

The malevolent giant venerates and serves the God of Giants Mano, and this is the fundamental reason for the Cloud Giants’ malevolence.

This God of Giants even wanted to usurp the primordial main god’s power and status when the Main God of the Giant Pantheon An Nan was sunk in solitude, and to rule all affairs of the Giant Race.

The God of Giants Mano chose the priests of the Cloud Giants as the tentacles through which he would govern giants, emphasizing their superiority and the primacy of being the firstborn over centuries, corrupting them by denigrating other giant species.

The Cloud Giants also thus received the secret techniques imparted by the divine spirit Mano, controlling and driving Two-legged Flying Dragons from their souls and wills, making these malevolent dragon beast creatures natural accomplices of the Cloud Giants.

So, despite having the majesty of an Upper-Rank Giant Dragon, the Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam found it difficult to scare away that massive legion of Two-legged Flying Dragons assembled by the Cloud Giants.

When the Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam saw the hills filled with flying Two-legged Flying Dragons, it instinctively gave way.

The path into the mountains and the road pursuing the Storm Giants were not the same, and although this path was considered quite safe in the legacy of the previous Eternal Punishment Dragon, changes had already occurred.
