Beneath the Red Dragon

Although Dragons can also hold a broad faith in multiple divine spirits like other races, for other Dragon Gods with relatively vague stances, this is possible, but for the Platinum Dragon God and the Immortal Dragon Queen, it is a dangerous act.

Even though the two Dragon Gods have superficially made peace, behind the scenes, they continue millennium-old private conflicts and rivalries.

Not only does Bahamut have a Knight Order specifically for hunting Colorful Dragons, but the Immortal Dragon Queen has also established a force targeting those Colorful Dragons who have betrayed their faith and sided with the Platinum Dragon God.

In targeting each other, the two Dragon Gods seem to have transcended the limitations and constraints of divine positions, doing whatever it takes without restraint.

Even Silver Dragon Chris can understand this point; she cannot believe that the Red Dragon, who appears so cunning and sly, would not consider this matter.

”To bear the king’s majesty, one must bear its weight. Perhaps, that is why he can be king,” Chris murmured to herself, lowering her head, dispelling distracting thoughts, and began praying silently.

”Great Platinum Dragon God, your bloodline descendant, Chris Tianna, prays to you here, praying for your wisdom greater than strength...”

Before Silver Dragon Chris finished speaking, the star marks on the dome silently lit up, and an intangible power broke through the barriers of the Icaria World, entering this mark.

The powerful majesty erupted from the mark, disappearing instantly, but in Silver Dragon Chris’s mind, a gigantic projection appeared.

The divine majesty and Dragon’s Majesty descended like a mountain sea from the projection, making Silver Dragon Chris feel her true form was rapidly becoming as insignificant as dust.

”Great Ancestral Dragon God, revered Platinum Dragon King,” Silver Dragon Chris lowered her head and saluted the supreme Dragon God.

This was the first response that the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut gave to the Silver Dragon, a portion of consciousness descending into the Icaria World.

This is also the preferred choice for numerous divine spirits and powerful beings to descend into the Material World. Powerful True Gods, evil beings, demons, or devils, as long as they reach a certain level, possess the power to cross worlds.

But to traverse worlds, not only does it take an enormous amount of power to pass through the world barriers, but one must also consider the resistance of the plane consciousness born from some Material Worlds or the instinctive rejection of the planes.

No matter the kind of existence, as long as they are strong enough, they will be rejected by the Material World and cannot bear their presence, so to cross the world barriers, a huge amount of power must be consumed.

The stronger the existence, the greater the power spent, and the stronger the obstruction faced, which is why most divine spirits prefer to descend their consciousness, as it not only consumes less but also ensures greater secrecy.

Only in extremely special circumstances will divine-like beings make an exception to descend their divine power incarnations, but in general, such actions are often not worth the loss.

Moreover, for the Faith Gods, the existence of world barriers is also a dangerous regulation. Faith Gods high atop the Star Realm can capture faith from countless plane worlds.

But when they descend into the Mortal World, the spontaneous rejection of the world barriers refuses the invasion of the divine power of faith. Even if they can capture faith, the consumption exponentially increases.

Some sufficiently powerful Material Planes even limit the divine spirits to only capture faith from this world plane, which causes the Faith Gods to seldom set foot in places beyond the Star Realm.

Even if they descend into the Mortal World, they won’t stay for long.

In these Material Worlds, some strong demigods, pseudo-gods, or evil beings see these descending divine spirits as prey worth attempting. The former God of Magic was taken down in such a way by the ancient Magic Empire.

But the true god with descended consciousness has fewer worries; even losing a portion of consciousness is not a major deficit for them.

However, in facing the descent of Bahamut, Silver Dragon Chris surprisingly felt that in her heart of hearts, there was not the anticipated sense of pilgrimage, perhaps because the other’s words made Silver Dragon Chris break through the sacred veil covering the Dragon God.

”Chris, beautiful Silver Dragon, aside from the Gold Dragons, you are my most beloved child race,” at this moment, the image of the Good Dragon King Bahamut was a middle-aged man, reaching out his hand to stroke Silver Dragon Chris’s head.

”I need you to do something for me, get close to that Ancestral Red Dragon, Karon Gogomola, and gain his trust. He will be an important aid to my great goal,” Bahamut said.

Silver Dragon Chris’s eyes shimmered but she did not hesitate and agreed immediately.

Not until nightfall did Silver Dragon Chris emerge from the Divine Hall.

Beneath the vast sky filled with stars and the high-hanging bright moon, Silver Dragon Chris exhaled a cold breath and murmured, ”Truly, a world that is boring to the extreme!”
