Beneath the Red Dragon

Even a dragon nearly immune to toxins and paralysis would be immobilized by this venom, only the immensely powerful can withstand it.

The Knight’s hand armor held the Ring of the Great Serpent, appearing as a simple brass ring with a snake biting its own tail, yet it held great power.

Not just a token of the powerful Magic Weapon, the Great Serpent Blade, even if the enemy seized it, they could not harm the wearer of the Ring of the Great Serpent, offering them protection against toxins.

This ring also has at least one or more subordinate and advanced enchantments.

This stirred the treasure-evaluating instinct of the Ancestral Red Dragon from the Dragon Race, who couldn’t help but contemplate knocking down the Knight and stripping him of all his gear.

Even in the eyes of the affluent Dragon Emperor, the Knight’s equipment was exceptionally luxurious.

A gust of wind blew, a chilling, murderous aura permeating the air.

The Knight’s eyes brightened at that moment, fixed on the body of the Ancestral Red Dragon, speaking deliberately: ”Sinful dragon, prepare for execution!”

In the next moment, the Knight, clad in Steel Dragon Scale Armor, strode forward, his heavy steps raising waves of air, swinging the Great Serpent Blade straight down.

Karon gathered strength in his limbs, lunging forward at the advancing blade head-on, a leap of flame and the right claw encased in Heart Energy plunged fiercely towards the vulnerable throat of the Knight’s Chain Armor, with violent determination.

Underneath the helmet, the Knight’s face showed a hint of shock, instinctively switching from attack to defense, blocking with his horizontal sword.

The flaming Dragon Claw crashed into the serrated blade, the serrations striking the Dragon Scale, creating a long stream of sparks, flames scattering.

A surge of rushing current flowed from the Great Serpent Blade, like a Thunderbolt striking down, shattering the Heart Energy Protection in the Red Dragon’s claws, only to be dissolved by the Red Dragon’s flame.

The clashing sounds of steel were relentless, as faces from both sides continuously approached.

Clang, clang, clang,

The clash of steel and Dragon Claw ceased, the serrated long blade in that moment transformed into a living serpent, fangs bared, snapping towards Karon’s clawed back, while the Knight’s leg swift kicked at the Ancestral Red Dragon’s wing bone.

Yet Karon gathered his wings and charged. As they brushed past each other, the thick Dragon Tail, like a spiked chain, twisted, drilling the straightened tail tip through the back of the Knight’s leg armor knee.

The brief encounter unleashed tremendous power at the moment of physical contact, the enormous force from Karon carved deep trenches in the ground with his claws, while the Knight, his leg bone pierced, staggered forward.

Numbing lightning entwined on the Ancestral Red Dragon’s wing bone, paralyzing venom instantly extinguished the Red Dragon’s flame, both sides wielding terrifying elemental ability in battle.

Yet the Knight of the Five-Pronged Rose Knight Order was evidently more bloodthirsty than the Ancestral Red Dragon, choosing not to dispel the Elemental Power left by Karon, but instead turning back to strike again, the great sword descending anew.

The Red Dragon was brutal, known for its Fury, but among the Five-Color Dragon, the Blue Dragon, normally stable, could become frantically combative when provoked.

The Knight before him was a battle-hardened Blue Dragon.

The Ancestral Red Dragon, fangs bared, inhaled deeply, air swirling rapidly as he opened his mouth, and a bright, magnificent blaze spewed forth, like the first booming eruption of a volcano.

The Knight roared at this moment, swinging his Great Serpent Blade in a downward arc to block in front.

But faced with the intense heat, he could not ensure this was enough to stop it.

Thus the advanced enchantment spell of the brass ring—the Ring of the Great Serpent—activated.

Between the Knight’s necks, a second neck grew, a second head identical to the first, both heads simultaneously spewing a violently hot breath of lightning to meet the unstoppable Red Dragon’s flame.

This is the inherited magic of the Five-Pronged Rose Corps—the Heir of Tiamat.

The breath, one of the Dragon Race’s most powerful offensive methods, is the most direct force encounter.

The brutal lightning breath and the fierce pillar of fire, upon contact, tore the air, blasting a massive crater at their center point.

Boom,

The full-force breath of both sides flipped the ground, raising a cloud of dust into the sky.

But this time the Blue Dragon Knight did not recklessly attack, for the Knight could sense through the fog that the Ancestral Red Dragon at the end of the haze was rising in energy, warning the Knight fiercely.

As the dust settled, revealing the Ancestral Red Dragon’s body, the Knight saw the Red Dragon lift his head, yet not looking at him, but at a certain corner.

”One quarter of an hour,” Karon gently tilted his head, six splendid Dragon Horns swaying with him, he smiled and said, ”If he can hold out under my hand for one quarter of an hour, I will agree to any of your requests, otherwise, you merely need to agree to one of my requests, how about it!”
