Beneath the Red Dragon

”Unlike Tiamat and Bahamut, the ancient Dragon Gods, in this cosmos, I am a Dragon God along with them, and my divine power is even stronger than theirs, but I cannot match their true strength,”

Kreska walked with light steps, gesturing for the Ancestral Red Dragon to walk alongside her in this realm of tranquility.

A few small dragons grew bolder in the quiet realm, raising their heads and murmuring to each other, speaking in Ancient Dragon Language that even the Ancestral Red Dragon found hard to fully comprehend.

”Tiamat and Bahamut not only occupy the position of Dragon Gods in this cosmos, but their traces spread across many Cosmic Realms, so their strength is not as simple as it appears; even I cannot fathom the full extent of their true power.”

Kreska turned her head, suddenly sighing, ”As for me, aside from this cosmos where I originated, my true divine spirit in another universe has encountered some issues, equivalent to a fall. Perhaps Tiamat once mentioned to you about the world’s changes...”

The Ancestral Red Dragon listened quietly, nodding slightly in response, ”I have some meager understanding regarding the world and those Alien Gods.”

The Magic Dragon God Kreska’s Magic Power surged in her hands, unveiling a scene before Karon.

The Ancestral Red Dragon saw another universe where the crystal barrier of the cosmos was shattered by immense indescribable force, countless world fissures tearing through the Cosmic World.

Innumerable alien species emerged from the torn world fissures, with each powerful presence opening the fissures wider, extending massive tentacles into each Plane World, the portions revealed stretching thousands to tens of thousands of meters.

There were also incredibly powerful Titan Divine Race, as tall as planets, cleaving worlds as they traversed the Void, their eyes burning with flames and power that could destroy everything, shattering entire Plane Worlds with just one strike.

Even through the scene Kreska displayed, the Ancestral Red Dragon felt an immersive sensation, realizing that with her current stature, she was no different from an ant easily crushed by those powerful Alien Gods’ true forms.

Even the Magic Dragon God Kreska before them wore a bitter expression.

”That universe, its last ruins dragged into the ancient Alien Gods’ world, consumed entirely. Not only me, but even Tiamat, that mother dragon, lost a true divine incarnation,”

Kreska’s voice carried inevitable helplessness.

”Although the gale and rain haven’t descended upon this cosmos, I’ve already felt the sudden stir,” Kreska faced the Ancestral Red Dragon,

”I’ve explored many Plane Worlds in this Origin Cosmos, leaving numerous seeds. You, Karon Gogomola, are one of the few dragons worthy of my personal descent.”

The Magic Dragon God gazed deeply at the Ancestral Red Dragon, saying, ”With such a strong gift, such a ’special’ child, one with a clear mind and wisdom, you compel me to see you differently.”

Karon folded his wings, assuming an honest, naive, and sincere appearance, as if entirely oblivious to the implications of the other’s words.

”Since you are unwilling to be my Divine Favored, I won’t force a future dragon who might roam like other powerful Evil Dragons in the Star Realm,”

Kreska gazed deeply at the Ancestral Red Dragon, saying, ”You know what I seek, the knowledge just now is the reward,”

”No, that’s far from enough,” the Ancestral Red Dragon shook his head decisively, knowing what the Magic Dragon God wanted.

The union of dragons and gods ultimately seeks one thing: power.

But faith isn’t something easily obtained; even gods, unable to descend into the world, cannot glance upon each believer every moment. In spreading faith, they pale compared to the mortal world’s emperors.

Especially Karon, wielding the Dragon Empire as the Dragon Emperor; a simple policy could rival the Magic Dragon God’s efforts of countless years.

Gods have their strong points, but also their deficiencies.

”Truly a greedy dragon,” the Magic Dragon God Kreska said, ”I know the Dragon Empire lacks priests of their own. Worship me, have your people worship me, and I’ll bring true priests to the Dragon Empire and enable you to cultivate your own Casters.”

But the Ancestral Red Dragon’s head continued to shake like a wheel, ”In the Ten Thousand Dragons Temple, gods bear only their emblem, not a true divine image, which is why my empire’s people don’t worship them. If my people are to believe, only a Dragon Lord who contributes to the empire will suffice.”

At this moment, the Ancestral Red Dragon finally revealed part of the truth.

The Magic Dragon God Kreska gritted her teeth, staring at the cunning Red Dragon, pondering momentarily, before speaking, ”Carve a divine statue for me from gemstones, that’ll be my incarnation in the Mortal World, venerating you, this ambitious Dragon Emperor!”

”Deal!” The Ancestral Red Dragon finally bared his fangs, smiling at this moment.
