Beneath the Red Dragon

The blade and flame merged together, transforming into a high-density plasma blade, an extremely dangerous aura emanating from the Imperial Guard Warriors.

”You heretical seeds who defy the teachings of the Empire, how dare you trespass on the dominions ruled by my lord. Retreat now, and you might still preserve your hard-won lives!”

Achilles, with the Imperial Badge and Blade Mark on his left heavy armored arm, the Imperial Guard Decurion spoke, though his tone carried no emotional fluctuation, the formidable aura was a unique emblem of warriors who fearlessly faced death.

The Imperial Guard Warriors, clad in heavy armor, could stand shoulder to shoulder with the Hill Giants of the Giant Species, their height and size not inferior.

The corpses of those slain Giants, cleaved in half with one stroke, made these Giants somewhat apprehensive, preferring to let the Giant Subspecies under their command test the waters first.

One-eyed Giant Assis, though nominally the leader of these Giants, could not freely command them, relying solely on his strength and the name of Mogyes to suppress these Giant Species.

”Why do you insist on opposing Giants, you know not the true power of Giants,” One-eyed Giant Assis’ singular eye was filled with blood-red color,

He muttered, ”Storm Giants you may stay, but the treasure inherited by the Storm Giant Race is Mogyes’s target. If I don’t obtain it, upon my return I shall be slain directly by Mogyes, and even you will be crushed by an enraged Mogyes,”

”The Legendary Giant Power is not something you can contend with, and the Giants subdued by Mogyes are far more powerful than you imagine, far more numerous too,”

”Moreover, in those mountain ranges, far more than just Giants exist. They all shall be under Mogyes’s dominion, turning your nation into ruins.”

”Give me the Storm Giants’ treasure, and I will retreat immediately,” the One-eyed Giant’s eye flickered with crude cunning, he shouted loudly, ”I shall tell Mogyes, you are friends of the Giants!”

Hu,

Ogres and Giant Demons crossed over the Golem Legion and Storm Giants’ battle line, swinging weapons to smash the turning backs of Imperial Guard Warriors.

Kka,

The rearmost Imperial Guard Warriors suddenly turned collectively; from the eyes carved with Magic Energy Crystals on the Dragon-faced Helmets shot out twin Heart Energy Swords directly into the ogres’ eyes.

The Power of Heart Energy stirred a storm of hearts in the brains of ogres, shattering the spirit of the ogres unfamiliar with Mental Power, leaving them ignorant and senseless.

Bang,

The weapons tightly held by the ogres and Giant Demons fell onto the sand, their massive bodies uncontrollably kneeling before the Imperial Guard Warriors.

The Imperial Guard Warriors turned, their blood-red gauntlets’ sides adorned with sharp slender steel spikes glinting coldly, as they clasped the skulls of ogres and Giant Demons.

Pang,

The fragile eyes of ogres and Giant Demons were directly burst by the Imperial Guard Warriors, their ugly heads crushed alive under the warriors’ gauntlets, exploding like watermelons under heavy strike.

The Imperial Guard Warriors, having nearly completed their actions simultaneously, turned, as if they had just crushed not a mere ant passing by.

”For the second time,”

The Imperial Guard Decurion’s voice turned cold, speaking faintly, but in the Dragon-faced Helmet, it appeared exceptionally heavy, ”Retreat, or kneel and surrender.”

In public occasions, with the presence of the Dragon Lord behind, even these Guardians who see all defiance of Imperial will, non-compliance to Emperor’s teachings as heretical beings, believing these heretics should have only one outcome, that is death, also need to follow Imperial ordinance.

”You damned weaklings...”

One-eyed Giant Assis felt greatly humiliated, his single eye’s red completely covered the pupil, but had not yet vented the angry Giants’ roaring tone.

Opposite, the standing Imperial Guard Decurion was as if impatiently, announcing his orders as if a scholar might leap out to halt them later.

”The enemies dare to resist, even after repeated warnings, still unaware of repentance, now following the Emperor’s will, give these heretics the punishment of death, leave no one alive!”

Ka Ka Ka,

Each Imperial Guard Warrior’s magical armor momentarily activated, emitting a continuous clatter, the ferocious Dragon-faced Helmets already focused with bright gazes on their enemies.

These Imperial Guard Warriors cracked the ground beneath their feet, initiating an offensive charge towards the Giants.

”Crush them, crush these arrogant insects,”

One-eyed Giant Lord Assis roared, urging the Giants beside him to attack.

Each Giant also became furious, the Stone Giant stepping forward, giant stone fists accumulating fierce momentum in collisions.

The Mountain Giant holding giant thick Fine Steel Pillars sprinted forward like a siege engine, the Giant’s strength complementing heavy weapons, was a war chariot crushing forward.

The Wood Giant inserted its arms into the earth, arms instantaneously reshaping and extending, five fingers spreading like ancient vines, entwining massive stones, transformed into Giant Stone Flails and Whip Hammers, descending upon the heads of Imperial Guard Warriors.

The Hill Giants swung bone staffs hunted from strong ferocious species and Extraordinary Magical Beasts, charging against the Imperial Guard Warriors.
