Beneath the Red Dragon

Besides Green Dragon Ali, White Dragon Sloraka and White Dragon Roni are also actively taking on more tasks, greatly sharing the burden of the Dragon Group, allowing the Imperial Emperor to now have ample leisure time to enjoy a performance of leisure with the awakened Pikku Little Elf Riven.

While other Giant Dragons are working so hard that their scales are smoking, the Imperial Emperor is still roaming about with the Little Elf in the Empire’s card house, cheating and causing a big stir.

”No, perhaps it’s just like the words often on Fog Dragon Deniro’s lips, saying that throughout a Dragon Race’s life, in the long years, one always needs to find something meaningful as a goal, to make their existence more realistic!”

Blue Dragon Carlette gently pinched the wine glass placed on the castle railing with her slender fingers. The wine in the glass is a premium Odyssey Brew, transported from the distant Southern Continent.

It is said that this wine originated from ancient times when a human hero, Odyssey, accidentally entered the One-Eyed Giant’s cave during his adventures, facing the danger of death.

So Odyssey mobilized his followers to gather wild grapes growing around the One-Eyed Giant’s cave and used hands and feet to crush them into wine, getting the ferocious One-Eyed Giant drunk, and then escaping from the giant’s clutches.

No matter whether these legends originate from fabrication, this expensive wine is just a daily consumable in the eyes of the Giant Dragons.

”But, how could you bear to climb down from the Tree of Life,” Blue Dragon Carlette took a sip of the wine, said mockingly: ”You Green Dragons always seem particularly interested in lush-green places, like uncivilized Wild Dragons, oh, I misspoke, you really are a Wild Dragon.”

Being a Green Dragon Species, they are inherently fond of nesting in forests, especially among the immense ancient tree canopies, the Tree of Life being an irresistible nesting place for these Green Dragons, just like the attraction of volcanic craters and magma for a Red Dragon.

However, in other cities, Green Dragon Ali simply does not dare to step onto the Tree of Life; while other Giant Dragons acknowledge Green Dragon Ali as a member of the Dragon Group, the Tree of Life is an important asset of the Empire, even Antajena only occasionally rests on the tree, let alone nesting on it.

Only Bay Stream City, governed by Blue Dragon Carlette, allows this Green Dragon to rest long-term on the Tree of Life, a relationship forged from the battlefield where the two Female Dragons fought bravely.

Green Dragon Ali smiled, her large eyes squinting, laughing: ”Carlette, your Blue Dragon sarcastic remarks are like a cold joke to us Green Dragons, moreover I am indeed a Wild Dragon, I am proud to be a member of the Gogomola Dragon Group, but have never felt inferior for being part of the Wild Dragon group.”

”The Imperial Emperor has never felt shame for his past hardships and trials, it seems I align more closely with the thoughts of the Dragons’ King,”

Green Dragon Ali casually picked up the remaining half bottle of wine, drank it like water, then said: ”But you, the Blue Dragon, once the Emperor’s foster mother, fail to grasp his thoughts, it would be disappointing for others to know this.”

”Bah,” Blue Dragon Carlette did not hide her attitude, said grimly: ”What exactly do you need, I know your habits, without a cause, you would never crawl out of your nest,”

”If you fail to cultivate the second-generation Tree of Life saplings on time, I will apply to have you removed from my side, so you can no longer loaf around.”

Green Dragon Ali quickly straightened her expression, said: ”I indeed have a matter, Carlette, haven’t the patrol guards recently informed you that the wild beasts near Bay Stream City are increasing in numbers?”

”Not only large numbers of beasts, but the numbers of savage species and Extraordinary Magical Beasts are gradually growing as well,” Green Dragon Ali stated earnestly: ”Our Bay Stream City guards this vital trade route from south to north, it may soon face a beast tide, significant changes should be occurring at the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range, I believe we shouldn’t be confined here,”

”Instead, we should proactively send people, scout along the way, so we can prepare for any possible events in advance.”

Blue Dragon Carlette listened, and couldn’t help but nod, although Bay Stream City doesn’t have the Flying Dragon Knight Order stationed, the only fifty Flying Dragon Knights here have been recruited along with the Pioneer Corps.

However, the city still has some newly trained Griffin Knights, which can be sent out as reconnaissance forces.

But before Blue Dragon Carlette could think thoroughly, the vision of the Giant Dragons allowed the two standing high atop the mountain fortress to see dust rolling in the distance, trees snapping, flying birds startling and scattering.

Occasionally large-bodied beasts rampaged, their vast figures appearing within the woods, noticed by the Giant Dragons’ gaze.

”Perhaps an incident has happened, Carlette, you are the highest Governor of Bay Stream City, you oversee everything, I’ll go take a look first,”

Green Dragon Ali, this charming lady, spoke, agilely leaping over the railing, jumping from the towering castle, transforming mid-air into a Giant Dragon, spread her wings, soared high, flying far.

Outside the southern area of Bay Stream City, the vast grassland hills and forested high mountains stretch seamlessly together, the nearby lush pasture of the grassland hills is the favorite grazing ground for cattle and sheep by the city’s youths.
