Beneath the Red Dragon

The first generation Ashabi Blue Dragon Demon had its entire spine shattered by the power of the Ancestral Red Dragon, its massive dragon body’s internal organs and magical organs like the base blood vessels were also crushed with precision by the Red Dragon’s power.

Only a still-beating heart remained intact, allowing the resilient Ashabi Dragon Demon to lie on the ground, barely clinging to life.

The Dragon Demon Blood, infused with the aura of demons from Hell, gradually polluted the area where the Blue Dragon Demon fell, causing the vegetation to wither, and the Dragon Demon whimpered audibly.

Karon’s body landed beside the Blue Dragon Demon, his wounded jaw was already sealed by the strong muscular control, beginning to heal.

Yet he did not let down his guard, for the sake of securing victory with a single strike, the magic power he painstakingly conserved and accumulated during the previous bouts of melee combat was once again depleted.

Now, for the first time in this dragon’s life, the Red Dragon tasted the feeling of insufficient magic power.

This made Karon somewhat uncomfortable for a moment, as the Evil Dragon Blood within him conveyed a thirst, urging him to replenish his magic power quickly.

But now he had to face an existence far more terrifying than this Ashabi Blue Dragon Demon, leaving him no room for complacency.

Though it was just the consciousness of a Dragon God descending, yet the position of Magic Dragon God made Karon exceedingly cautious, anything with the word magic attached to it was never a good thing, except for himself.

Pa, pa, pa,

”What a remarkable performance, you young fledgling dragon, to so easily defeat a Dragon Slayer Knight who has battled countless times,”

The figure of the Magic Dragon God Kreska stepped out from the void. Without the Blue Dragon Demon’s body as a vessel, although her form was vividly lifelike, it was still clearly visible to the Ancestral Red Dragon.

The three young dragons, initially somewhat hostile towards the Ancestral Red Dragon, had lowered their flags upon witnessing this battle.

A few young dragons had tucked their heads and wings behind the shoulders of the Magic Dragon God Kreska and her pitch-black hair, sneakily watching the Ancestral Red Dragon with their slit pupils.

Karon folded his wings by his side to show he had no intent of challenging the Magic Dragon God, then crouched on the ground, revealing his bloodstained fangs, softly laughing, ”I wonder if my performance can earn me the promise that belongs to me.”

The Magic Dragon God Kreska tread lightly to the crouching Ancestral Red Dragon, gazing up at the towering Red Dragon with its six gleaming dragon horns as if utterly unconcerned about the Red Dragon suddenly stirring to violence.

Despite the anthropomorphic form of the Magic Dragon God being over two meters tall, the Red Dragon before her seemed like it could crush her with a mere extension of its claws.

Kreska’s charming eyes, however, weren’t the pupils of a dragon but were eyes similar to humans, now sparkling with a different light, softly smiling and saying, ”I never verbally agreed to your proposal,”

She shifted her gaze to the dark golden slit pupils of the Ancestral Red Dragon, beside which were fiery patterns like blood threads in eyes.

”Though you show me superficial respect and deference, you actually equate your status with mine,” said the Magic Dragon God Kreska with a hint of surprise in her eyes, ”It’s hard to tell if it’s your innate arrogance as a young fledgling dragon or if you have substantial backing.”

”However, I do somewhat understand Tiamat’s alluring old mother dragon’s course of action now, if it were me, I’d also want to make you my beloved, your talent, especially in magic, earns my admiration,”

As a Magic Creator of the Dragon Race and holder of the Magic Divine Position, Magic Dragon God Kreska observed clearly even in just a glimpse that the magic used by the Ancestral Red Dragon was a combination of Phantom Magic and Elemental Magic.

Most giant dragons, capable of actively learning magic, are already rare Dragon Talents, becoming familiar and mastering the Dragon Race magic inherited through bloodline even marks them as scholars among the dragons.

The Ancestral Red Dragon, however, seemed to have embarked on the path of deconstructing and creating magic, which is another tier altogether.

Even among those dragons famous for their obsession with magic, successfully creating or improving magic takes many years of research, yet these are typically Middle Tier or Low Tier Magic.

The magic created by the Ancestral Red Dragon seemed not outwardly powerful, lacking the direct destructive power of High Tier Magic, even the final elemental explosion was but under the Ancestral Red Dragon’s innate control.

But magic is evaluated not just by its raw power, but by its functional prowess.

In the eyes of the Magic Dragon God Kreska, the magic employed by the Ancestral Red Dragon in its last strike was undoubtedly a High Tier auxiliary attack type magic.

If certain special Magic Warriors could master this skill, it would be a supreme secret technique passed down through familial lines for centuries, dominating a corner of the world.

No wonder the Ancestral Red Dragon’s magic talent was met with her astonishment.

Karon calmly accepted the praise from the Magic Dragon God, even if the credit lay heavily with the sub-brain’s contribution.

Despite being somewhat unhappy with the Magic Dragon God’s reneging, he had no choice but to acknowledge that she was right. Dealing with dragons was something for which he had long been mentally prepared.

Karon could only nod slightly in response, ”Our humble strength indeed can’t match the great power of the Dragon God, receiving praise from the Dragon God is more than enough to honor me.”
