Beneath the Red Dragon

The Magic Aura dissipated, and the figure of Magic Dragon God Kreiska appeared in the Material World, as if always turning its back on the heavenly sun and light. Even when facing the celestial glow, the Magic Aura constantly blocked the sunlight from the sky.

At the instant when the form of Magic Dragon God Kreiska vanished, Karon finally realized the issue.

From the perspective of mysticism, it was worth Karon’s consideration.

However, Karon’s current goal was ultimately focused on his own development.

The Ancestral Red Dragon stepped closer to the dying Blue Dragon Demon, its massive Dragon Claw grabbing the Blue Dragon Demon’s head, which was as hideous as a hybrid of a Dragon and a Gargoyle, lifting him up.

The Dragon-Hunting Dragon Demon awoke at this moment, pieces of viscera and Dragon Blood spilling from his mouth. With his last ounce of strength, he laughed heartily, ”Haha, I lost, mortal world Dragon,”

”But if you, because of their momentary friendliness and praise, think yourself unique, then you are mistaken, haha,”

The Blue Dragon Demon gasped, ”As long as you fight for them, you will eventually meet my same end...”

Karon’s eyes remained calm. The Dragon Slayer Knight before him possessed considerable skill; if not for the hatred and disdain harbored against the Ancestral Red Dragon, he would not have been easily deceived by the magic of Magic Dragon God Kreiska.

And although Karon had enjoyed delightful conversations with Magic Dragon God Kreiska and seemed to have a good cooperative foundation, considered mutual support and fellow travelers, it was just like the interactions with the Main God and Tiamat.

Deep within the Ancestral Red Dragon’s heart, there is always a fundamental vigilance towards these beings, unless one day, the power of the Red Dragon can easily crush these existences.

The Blue Dragon Demon before him could only be described as an outstanding Dragon Warrior who followed the wrong person.

”Since I descended to this world, I have never personally killed a single dragon. It’s a pity, you are not a dragon,” Karon said lightly.

”Good, good, good,” the Blue Dragon Demon laughed, ”Dying by your hand, I do not feel humiliated, strike swiftly,”

Clap,

The Heart Energy on the Ancestral Red Dragon’s steel claw surged, and without hesitation, it crushed the Blue Dragon Demon’s neck, the azure armor of the neck exploding along with flesh and bone.

The massive head rolled across the pockmarked plain, the Dragon Demon’s aura instantly vanishing from this real Material World.

The Ancestral Red Dragon titled its head, sensed for a long while, and then let out a sigh.

”Tiamat,” Karon said softly, with his head lowered.

In the information Kreiska provided to the Ancestral Red Dragon, some secrets about Tiamat were shared.

Among them was Tiamat’s unique Divine Art, as the creator of every Five-Colored Dragon.

But on the dead Blue Dragon Demon, Karon found no trace of such Divine Art, which meant that the aura of the Ancestral Red Dragon grasped by Tiamat when her consciousness descended remained sealed in that Dragon Queen’s Divine Kingdom Fortress, possibly targeting something else.

Although Tiamat’s ultimate intention is to exchange her followers’ souls for Karon’s soul after his death, Karon does not favor such potential control.

Although his relationship with Tiamat would not necessarily turn adversarial, it would become relatively more complex. Some of Tiamat’s actions also pushed Karon deeper into her camp.

”Indeed, these powerful beings are no simple folks,” Karon gazed at the place where the Magic Dragon God disappeared, estimating that Kreiska’s change in attitude was just plan B.

If Karon’s strength were insufficient to contend with this Blue Dragon Demon Knight, he would likely not escape being beheaded by Kreiska to serve as a warning, reduced to being a pawn.

Yet, knowing the forthcoming stormy situation, these Dragon Gods still go their own way, not only refusing unity but also keen on undermining each other, leaving Karon to look up to the sky and sigh deeply.

”Relying on these creatures truly leads to no bright future!”

The Ancestral Red Dragon lowered its head, moving forward, its Dragon Claw, imbued with Heart Energy, sharper than any blade forged by a Dwarf, slicing open the Blue Dragon Demon’s abdomen.

Flames spread from Karon’s Dragon Claw, with precise control, they swept over the Blue Dragon Demon’s body, incinerating all internal organs, impure blood, and shredded meat, leaving only within the Dragon Claw, the huge Dragon Demon Heart that began to cease its beating.

Karon opened his mouth, serpent-like, the muscles of his upper and lower jaws and throat writhing and expanding, swallowing the entire enormous Dragon Demon Heart into his belly.

Gulp, the massive Dragon Demon Heart, upon entering the stomach, was transformed into a vast net by the Gluttony power within Karon’s body, like the tentacles of an octopus gripping it, then each piercing into the Dragon Demon Heart, beginning to absorb and digest its energy.

Crack,

A faint, nearly imperceptible spark of electrical current flickered at the wingtip of the Ancestral Red Dragon, then melted away in the flames, remnants of the Blue Dragon Demon’s power.

”What a pity, still far from enough, even upon digestion, it would not greatly aid me,”

Karon’s flame rose, purifying the bloodstains between his fangs and the grime on his mouth, restoring their clean appearances.

”Hm?”

Karon slightly lifted his head, the scales on his body emitting the clash of steel, his knotted muscles swelling under the scales as if to burst forth.

His wings and claws emitted a muted booming, the fiery, violent power beginning to resume its restless churning within his body.
