Beneath the Red Dragon

The dark golden eyes reignited with flames, and in that moment of true vision, pierced through the clouds in the sky, aiming to discern what kind of creature dared to spy on the dragon’s form while it was feeding.

It was a juvenile dragon resembling a Golden Dragon, climbing within the high-altitude clouds as if the soft clouds were actual steps it could touch. It stealthily poked its little head through the gaps in the clouds, staring unblinkingly at the Ancestral Red Dragon.

The Silver Dragon’s talent skill is walking on clouds, but this dragon, which looks somewhat like a Golden Dragon juvenile, relies not on magic talents but on bloodline instincts to crawl among the clouds.

Just as a Red Dragon is born to breathe fire, this dragon is naturally capable of walking on clouds.

Seeing the Ancestral Red Dragon’s slightly hostile indifferent gaze, the little dragon quickly ducked its head back into the cloud layer, hiding its head under its little fleshy wings, an act that amusingly brought a chuckle from the Red Dragon.

But Karon did not bother with this strange young dragon. With his knowledge, he couldn’t identify what dragon species this juvenile belonged to, but it definitely wasn’t a Giant Dragon born in the Icaria World.

Rash contact might cause misunderstandings. A dragon capable of traversing from other planes must have a guardian, and he didn’t want to invite unnecessary trouble.

Thus, the Ancestral Red Dragon’s hind legs fractured the ground, entombed the Blue Dragon Demon’s head into a pit, then lifted the remaining body of the Blue Dragon Demon, spread its wings, and ascended into the sky, flying toward its Imperial land.

The sky exploded, leaving in mid-air only a fierce ghostly flame and a cloud ring that burst in layers. The Ancestral Red Dragon’s form had already reached the horizon, merging with the descending sunlight’s glow.

...

The Land of Divine Promise, once inhabited by the gods, at the tail of the cloud-reaching Divine Forsaken Mountain Range, within the coastal mountains, the habitat of the Storm Giants welcomed a unique guest.

Boom,

A gigantic bone hammer shattered the mountain rock, the fierce attack splintering countless stone fragments, embedding them like arrows into the surrounding towering trees, embedding several inches deep, shaking loose countless leaves.

An eighteen-meter-tall One-eyed Giant, with a ferocious and rugged face, his body barely wrapped in a piece of beast hide tied together with rattan, and an enormous, ugly appendage swaying in the breeze between his legs.

”Get out of the way and let your leader come talk to me. If not for Lord Mogyes’ orders, I’d twist off your heads and taste your blood and flesh,”

The One-eyed Giant’s bloodthirsty single eye glistened with malice and craving as he shouted angrily, brandishing the massive bone hammer on his shoulder, exuding formidable menace.

In front of the One-eyed Giant, several young Storm Giants wielding giant stone axes, long spears, chain armor, and giant swords closed in. Several Storm Giant battle companions circled around, eager to pounce.

Two enormous Peng Birds circled in the sky, three Griffins stood on the high post, and six Four-toothed Sea Lions crawled out of the nearby sea, approaching the confrontation area.

Two Storm Giants and Griffins stood together on the high post, with large compound bows already drawn, lightning runes leaping on the longbows, intimidating the arrogant One-eyed Giant.

”You lowly filth, dare to actively provoke us Storm Giants? If it weren’t for relying on your weapon, we would have beaten you to death and fed you to the Vultures, for we Storm Giants are not as revolting as ugly inferior breeds like you!”

Young Storm Giant Garcia, holding a giant axe, faced the towering ferocious One-eyed Giant without the slightest fear, contemptuously rebuking.

Garcia possessed a skin and hair color different from other Storm Giants, extremely rare even among Storm Giants: purple skin and deep purple hair.

In the Icaria World, regular adult Storm Giants stand about sixteen meters tall, while young Garcia has already reached fourteen meters. His exceptional talent allows him to face the One-eyed Giant’s oppression without showing any fear.

”Hahaha, foolish little one, this world only regards one’s strength. If heritage mattered, wouldn’t you be better off kneeling at Lord Mogyes’ feet, licking his toes?”

The One-eyed Giant laughed arrogantly: ”The weapon in my hand is naturally also my strength. Foolish one, look at the stone axe in your hand. If you obediently follow me and pledge allegiance to Lord Mogyes,”

”Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get a piece of Supreme Celestial Titan’s Star Bone, then you’d qualify to challenge me.”

”Storm Giants don’t like being someone’s dog,” Garcia gritted his teeth, leaping out of the crowd, his giant stone axe cleaving down at the One-eyed Giant.

Crack,

Thunder boomed, pale lightning flickered in the clouds, each bolt drawn by the young Storm Giant’s bloodline skill—Thunder Summoning Skill, summoning thunder crashing down on the One-eyed Giant.

”Arrogant brat, it seems I’ll have to teach you a lesson before your leader shows up to talk,”

The One-eyed Giant’s massive body surged, with blue veins and muscles bulging like a dragon, griping the Supreme Celestial Titan’s leg bone end, his muscle-ridged shoulder bracing the heavy bone hammer, sending it crashing upward.

Bang,

The clash between the giant axe and the bone hammer echoed dully, the giant axe shattering upon impact, while the lightning from the sky that initially struck the One-eyed Giant’s head was absorbed by the bone hammer, not a drop splashing.

Step back,

Storm Giant Garcia retreated several steps, left holding only a short shard of the axe handle, while the chain lightning invoked by his bloodline skill left not a scratch on the One-eyed Giant’s hide.

”Is such meager strength enough to resist me? Let your leader come speak. Otherwise, I’ll break each of your limbs,”

The tall, ugly giant sneered as he stepped forward, the massive drum hammer swinging with a dull wind, smashing the weapons of the young giants stepping forward to block him.

High above, the circling Peng Birds and Griffins prepared to swoop down, curved talons and sharp beaks gleaming with terrifying cold light.

Boom-crack,

Thunder boomed, storm clouds gathered, lightning surged, and a lightning spear formed from the storm clouds, summoned by thunder and lightning, shot toward the earth.

The One-eyed Giant felt the imminent threat of death, standing his ground, muscles surging on his arms, roaring as he swung the hammer skyward.

Crash-snap,

The lightning spear descending from the heavens collided with the suddenly bright bone hammer, the incandescent electrical light scattering, causing even the Storm Giants to involuntarily close their eyes to avoid damage from the intense light.

Once the thunder eased, the young Storm Giants opened their eyes to see that although the enormous One-eyed Giant was unharmed, the ground beneath his feet was filled with a series of indents, and the dense hair on his arms turned to ash from the intense electric light.

”Enough, Asis, this is the Storm Giant’s territory, not a place where you can run rampant.”

The Storm Giant leader Maid, leading the group of adult Storm Giants, emerged from the cave.

”You are the Storm Giant leader, Maid,” the One-eyed Giant exhaled, speaking slowly: ”Very well, I’ve brought Lord Mogyes’ order, hoping you Storm Giants will bow and submit to him in the mountain’s center,”

The crude One-eyed Giant, unaware of the charm of language, merely straightforwardly conveyed his message.

”We Storm Giants need time to think and discuss. You can return and tell Mogyes that we’ll have an answer in a few days.”

The elderly leader Maid stepped forward, speaking slowly.

”You better be sensible, for defying Lord Mogyes leads only to death. The head of a slain Hill Giant still lies beneath Mogyes’ feet.”

The One-eyed Giant shook his arms, shouldered the giant bone hammer, and turned, crashing through numerous trees as he retreated into the deep mountains.
