Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 370: Chapter 142: Alien God (2)

Above the Star Sea reside two Dragon Gods. This uniquely special place connects all planes of the Multi-Cosmos and the Material World, allowing the Dragon Gods to deliver the extinction decree to most of the worlds.

Since then, every encounter between a Metal Dragon and a Five-Color Dragon becomes a battle of life and death, a conflict that has stretched over countless years, causing the demise of numerous Giant Dragons.

The followers of Bahamut and the servants of Tiamat are in constant fierce opposition, even allowing the Giant Dragons to engage in genocidal conflicts in their names.

After this holy war of the Giant Dragons ended with lessons written in blood and bone, the remaining dragons no longer worship the two Dragon Gods as they once did; even those who do are only superficial believers.

This makes the Dragon Gods particularly attentive to the new offspring of the Giant Dragon Race, especially the Metal Dragons and Red Dragons favored by the gods. If they possess outstanding talents, they attract the attention of the Dragon Gods, which is why Tiamat speaks thus.

Tiamat’s red head probes forward, satisfaction flickering in the cunning and brutal eyes more elusive than those of Ancient Red Dragons, satisfied with both the talents and the beauty of this Red Dragon.

Though a god, Tiamat is essentially a Dragon, attracted by the allure of a Giant Dragon Succubus. Thus, this female Dragon God begins to recklessly draw near Karon’s sleeping form.

She meticulously examines the shine of each scale, the lines of every muscle, while extending her head to snuffle deeply and discernibly at the Red Dragon’s scent.

Dragons can gain clearer understanding of others’ physical states and specific information through scent. Tiamat’s actions are influenced not merely by Dragon instinct, but also as a method to gain profound understanding of the Red Dragon in a way that Karon would not resist.

”Honorable Tiamat, powerful and beautiful Mother of Evil Dragons, the Immortal Dragon Queen reigning over the Star Sea,”

Karon disregards the Dragon God’s actions, instead outwardly bestowing great respect and praise. He does not pride himself on shallow appearances, for that would be an exceedingly foolish choice.

Therefore, Karon’s words, in the resonant and fluctuating tones unique to Giant Dragons, become akin to a hymn of praise.

”Listen, Noble Lady of Darkness,”

Karon evades a direct answer, speaking in the rhythmical and accentuated voice of Dragon Language: ”Throughout my realm, there is ceaseless Dragon Songs. My subjects constantly extol the might and glory of the Dragon Gods, isn’t this my veneration for the gods? Their praises clearly express my attitude!”

Tiamat inclines her head to listen, hearing the songs emanating from the Dragon Nest Mountain Range, her expression revealing a sense of vanity satisfaction. Yet, despite her vanity, the cunning nature remains unclouded.

However, Karon’s respectful demeanor softens Tiamat’s voice.

”What a crafty little brat,” Tiamat’s vertical pupils glimmer with the same light as the Red Dragon’s eyes. She laughs softly: ”Crush your own evil, transform it into the nourishment of your power, let deeper evil surmount order, Red Dragon who conceals his heart with a mask of rational order.”

”You are unique and perfect, even I find myself entranced by your evil order. Come, Karon Gogomola, become my follower, open your mind to offer your loyalty and faith. Your indulgent and generous mother shall grant you her utmost favor,”

Tiamat’s voice turns alluring like a Green Dragon, her head akin to an Ancient Green Dragon’s, leaning in, producing a soft and tempting tone.

”You will become my Divine Favored, worthy of competing for the title of Red Dragon Monarch under my banner. Your formidable talent will make you my most outstanding child, my King of War, King of Conquest, ruling over all Red Dragons for me.”

”This world, gradually abandoned by the gods, can no longer enable your perfect growth. Follow me, I will take you away,”

”To my Evil Scale Fortress, where you will find the perfect growth environment. I want you to conquer those Giant Dragons who defy my rule, even I, at times, would willingly be conquered by you!”

The temptation from Tiamat far exceeds the temptation of that young Green Dragon Antajena in the Dragon Group. In Karon’s eyes, Antajena is akin to an unripe fruit, while the Dragon God before him is a graceful and charming beauty.

A ripe peach, ready to drip luscious juice with the slightest touch, alluring and enchanting.

But even such allure cannot stir a ripple in Karon’s heart unless the venerable Immortal Dragon Queen herself steps into the arena.

It would take her own seductive body performing the ancient Dragon Summoning Dance to embolden the Ancestral Dragon Blood that submits to Karon’s will.

Though newly born, the Ancestral Dragon Blood possesses a deeper Source Desire, it is neither pure nor powerful enough, and remains firmly under Karon’s Dragon Claw.

As for the patronage and status promised by this Dragon God, they hold little allure to Karon. His status is forged through his own strength.

As for the Red Dragon Monarch, Karon is already ascending the steps to that throne. His ambition is far more audacious than Tiamat imagines, not merely a singular King ruling all Red Dragons.

But Karon certainly wouldn’t reveal this, his attention has shifted elsewhere, hence rendering the Red Dragon’s demeanor particularly respectful.

”A world abandoned by the gods? My honored mother,” Karon inquired, blending acting into his performance, behaving like a curious child, weak, ignorant but inquisitive.

Even though Tiamat knew of the Red Dragon’s pretense, she found immense pleasure in the outward show of deference, for obedient children always garner more patient regard.

”The Icaria World has been tainted by the power and will of Alien Gods. Their claws are stealthily spread throughout Icaria, poised to reap the entire world. In deference to the gods’ covenant, many Divine Spirits have abandoned this world.”

Karon’s consciousness was engulfed and shielded by Tiamat’s eyes, where he saw boundless blood-red scenes.

Amidst that infinite crimson, a powerful Beastman God, God of Beastman’s betrayal, Kuwa, infected by Alien God power, initiates rebellion.

He instigated a coup against Geuush, the Main God of the Beastmen, and was finally pinned by the Main God’s Long Spear to the lowest depths of Casseri, unable to move a finger in the interminably long ages.

Then there is Ducaqesh, assailed by Alien God power, resolved to convert all Beastmen into Slo Beastmen, overthrowing Geuush’s dominion, leading many Beastmen to live in the Desolate Universe aboard a Magic Spaceship, resulting in the factionalizing of the Beastmen.

Frame after frame, laden with infinite information, unfolds before Karon like a canvas.

”Heh, these reckless Beastman deities suffered grievous losses upon contact with the Alien God due to their carelessness,”

Tiamat mocked these Beastman deities in the unique intonation of a Giant Dragon: ”The weak cannot fathom the gods’ covenant, but a merciful mother cherishes her child especially, hence I warn you, Karon Gogomola,”

”Do not engage proactively with Alien God power, some Alien Gods can taint you merely by the mention of their name or hearing of their existence, alienating you from my grasp, which is why the gods lock this world, keeping it unknown to the populace.”

”The entire Cosmos has become a divine chessboard, with every world undergoing unprecedented transformation. Even Divine Spirits cannot remain untouched, forced to sit beside the board, selecting their pieces, placing their bets.”

”You are eligible to become my mightiest pawn, my finest creation,” Tiamat’s five heads lean forward simultaneously, encircling Karon’s majestic and grand head, speaking in seductive tones.
