Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 355: Chapter 138: Bag Chui’s Hammer

The entire city line began to tremble, as a large number of Beastmen and Shahua Fishmen charged towards the trenches, braving the archers and artillery fire from the city walls. These trenches, several meters wide and deep, encircling the entire wall, became the graves for these Beastmen and Fishmen.

One after another, the Beastmen and Fishman Warriors charged fanatically, their group assault brought an unstoppable momentum, helping them resist fear and the chilling majesty of the Giant Dragons.

But momentum alone was insufficient to overwhelm the enemy; swathes of Beastmen fell, and clusters of Fishmen were pierced through. Their corpses piled up in the wide trenches, gradually filling and leveling them.

The foul stench of fresh blood stained the earth, soaking into the land, and the scent of blood mixed with the enemy’s odor in the air, forming the breath of death.

Yet the Beastmen and Fishmen pressed forward ceaselessly; they could not halt their charge, as they needed to use their lives to shield the archer and artillery positions at the rear.

Barbarian Leader Jib and Jackal Wolfman Yougu, leading the Steel Corps, had long since deployed their formations on the flat ground in front of the city gate, like a steel dome, more solid than the Golden Wall constructed of wood.

As the first Beastman, stepping over his companions’ corpses, crossed the trench, swinging his weapon to charge towards the city below.

Jackal Wolfman Yougu and Barbarian Jib synchronously locked their jaws, their face armor dropped from their helmets, a pair of bloodthirsty eyes and excited expressions shone brightly under the enclosed face armor.

”For the Gogomola Dragon Group!” The Jackal Wolfman raised his Long Saber, issuing a low but deep voice.

”For the Golden Kingdom!” Barbarian Jib raised his Heavy Hammer, letting out a loud roar.

Clang, clang, clang,

All the warriors’ face armor fell down together, under every steel armor lit up a pair of bloodthirsty eyes; their dark Iron Armor required the seepage of blood, their Long Sabers thirsted for the enemy’s flesh.

”For the Gogomola Dragon Group! For the Golden Kingdom!”

Thousands of voices roared together, the huge wave of sound as if the Giant God was pounding a heavy drum, shaking the clouds in the sky to disperse.

”Kill!”

The Beastmen’s growls, the Fishmen’s screams, the Jackal Wolfmen’s roars, the Barbarians’ shouts mixed together, blood intertwined as well, as if the Beast was colliding with the Steel Jungle.

Though the Beastmen and Fishmen had the courage to charge, the force of the charge could not shake the Steel Corps. The Fishmen lacked armor, relying only on their tough skin.

But even skin under the Dragon Scales could not withstand the sharpness of steel forged blades; for the Steel Warriors of the Dragons, they were merely a flock of lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

The Leather Armor covering Beastman Warriors could not withstand the steel of the blade; what greeted them was ruthless slaughter.

When Beastmen and Fishmen charged, the Steel Warrior at the forefront noticed only slightly shifting their feet to stand firmly, taking turns swinging their Long Sabers.

The light of the blade wielded by the strong warriors shone like lightning in the clouds, splitting apart and shredding all those daring to challenge them.

The Beastmen and Fishmen following behind barely saw the situation ahead, only to find their comrades already fallen, witnessing bright, lightning-like blade glints appearing before them.

A thousand soldiers, covering the ground and sky, ten thousand soldiers, boundless and unending.

This describes the terrifying scene when crowds gather and charge on the battlefield.

Blue Dragon Akzhi perched high on the lookout tower, watching as every part below the wide city wall faced the enemy’s charge; the number of those Beastmen and Fishmen already exceeded ten thousand, with more warriors continually joining the battlefield.

The entire Golden City seemed like a lone island surrounded and assaulted by a black tide, receiving countless enemy attacks, blood and corpses spread across every open space within sight.

In the distance, the Beastmen army was gradually landing from their fleet, transporting Magic Power Cannons and Dragon-Hunting Crossbows ashore, beginning their gradual advance.

The Demon-Banning Domain, under the blood and flesh shield of these Beastmen and Fishmen, was gradually cleared. Even though the Flying Dragon Riders in the sky descended numerous times, dropping terrifying detonations, bringing destructive iron flames, they still couldn’t stop the Beastmen’s actions.

The artillery firing points hidden on the cliffs on both sides were also gradually annihilated by Beastmen dispersing their forces, dwindling away any sporadic roars.

Blue Dragon Akzhi suppressed the violent Dragon Blood within him, knowing that as the highest commander, he needed to judge the situation calmly instead of throwing himself into the battlefield like a soldier.

The Demon-Banning Domain was originally a measure to ensure the effectiveness of the Golden City’s outer walls, so he must closely monitor the situation.

While the Blue Dragon could endure, the Red Dragon high above could not resist the destructive desire boiling in his blood. Kedelos felt, Blue Dragon Akzhi letting him find the correct opportunity to enter the fray had arrived.

Thus, the Young Red Dragon dove from the high clouds, broad wings casting a vast shadow over the enemies below. He began to swoop around the Golden City walls, the destructive Dragon Fire brewing within his belly, a deadly fire line swiftly illuminating from the Red Dragon’s chest and abdomen.

Compared to the young Dragons in the Dragon Group, the Dragon Breath of the Young Red Dragon was truly violent, growing into the Youth Stage, the Red Dragon’s Breath fused with both Magic Power and Flame, entering the realm of High-level Dragon Breath, his full-force exhalation was enough to melt steel.

Even ordinary Red Dragons would be affected by the Breath of Young Red Dragon Kedelos, let alone these Beastmen and Fishmen.
