Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 356: Chapter 138: Bag Chui’s Hammer (Part 2)

So when the young Red Dragon unleashed its devastating flame, it directly ignited a group of Beastmen, their bodies’ flesh transforming into the fuel for the flame, moisture evaporating and fat aiding in combustion.

”Hahaha, death is the price of provoking a Giant Dragon, let me, Kaidelos, grant you a noble rest,”

In mid-air, the young Red Dragon scattered flames of death, igniting throngs of enemies, burning them into charcoal, as the roar of the Giant Dragon echoed from its throat, wild, excited, and satisfied.

Flames of the Red Dragon burned throughout the battlefield, countless Merfolk and Beastmen igniting in an instant, wailing in agony while rolling on the ground, unable to extinguish the raging flames, only to turn into charcoal and ashes in despair and pain.

Death could not force the Beastmen and Merfolk to retreat, but such tragic demise was enough to instill fear; although they couldn’t fall back, they instinctively avoided the flight range of the young Red Dragon, causing some disarray in the continuously pressing formation.

Under such circumstances, tens of thousands of enemy charges were firmly blocked, unable to advance an inch before the Red Dragon and Steel Jungle.

The line formed by the Steel Corps was like an indestructible mountain range, with the young Red Dragon as the trench before it. The bodies of Beastmen and Merfolk piled up like a small hill before the city’s walls, only to be turned into charcoal by the Red Dragon’s Dragon Fire.

Yet the young Red Dragon was not satisfied; it roared until its throat itched dry, then suddenly descended to the battlefield, its claws pummeling the ground, sending feeble enemies flying.

Its tail swept across, smashing the bones and bodies of Beastmen and Merfolk.

The young Red Dragon was like a merciless war machine, rampaging across the battlefield. Its Scale Armor was enough to withstand attacks from ordinary weapons, even the strongest Beastmen and Merfolk could only leave white marks on its Scale Armor.

In the distance, the Beastmen had begun forming an arrow formation, but the arrows were blocked by the Red Dragon’s Scale Armor, only occasionally injuring the Red Dragon in areas not covered by its scales.

But given the young Red Dragon’s massive size and constant movement, some arrows felt like mere itch-inducing attacks to it.

It bit and struck among the crowd, tail sweeping, Dragon Fire spewing, the Red Dragon using every means possible.

”Die, die, you pathetic scum, I’ll crush you all,”

The young Red Dragon’s roar reverberated across the battlefield, Kaidelos’s mind gradually filled with savage Dragon Blood, the desire for destruction surging, and he began an opposite charge toward the Beastmen and Merfolk army.

”Foolish Red Dragon, depending on its strength like an idiot, such strength-dependent fool dares to charge directly into the army,” said Beastman Legion Commander Gahn, standing on his flagship’s deck, eyes glinting coldly.

”Cole, take him out, kill this Red Dragon, and it will intimidate those Giant Dragon monsters, don’t let him charge into our artillery formation,”

Gahn looked at the Beastman Warrior standing beside him.

Cole, equally towering in stature, as one of the Main Ship Commanders, was also a highly formidable Warrior, and the most trusted adjutant of Beastman Prince Gahn.

Standing three meters tall, Cole’s muscles bulged, appearing larger than other Beastman Warriors, the protruding tusks from his mouth were rough and long, clearly reflecting a richer Ancient Beastmen bloodline.

His aura was vast, almost as strong as the Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster Lapus, evidently a powerful figure far advanced in the Saint Tier.

”The Red Dragon’s scales may be sturdy, but they can’t resist my Hammer of Destruction, I’ll take him down and keep his head as my trophy,”

Beastman Cole’s yellowed tusks clattered, observing the Red Dragon now wounding under countless Beastmen attacks, with blood traces and split wounds appearing on its torso, limbs, and wings, arrows pierced into the Red Dragon’s uncovered skin.

Some armor-piercing enchanted arrows could even directly shatter the young Red Dragon’s scales, penetrate its flesh, and lodge into its body.

”Armor me,” Beastman Cole ordered his guards.

Though possessing the strength of Holy Sanctuary, enough to challenge the young Red Dragon head-on, on the legion battlefield, even Holy Sanctuary figures could be overwhelmed and charged to death.

Beastmen lacked the protective scales of the young Red Dragon; he wouldn’t risk his flesh attempting concentrated attacks from Giant Dragon Warriors.

A somewhat loose-fitting armor was donned onto Cole’s body by Beastman Guards, making him appear even larger, while two Beastmen lifted a heavy short-handled Wolf Fang Hammer.

Cole effortlessly wielded the heavy Warhammer, the renowned Legendary Weapon of the Beastman Kingdom - the Hammer of Destruction resonating with the bloodline within his body, granting him even more formidable power.

The Hammer of Destruction, also known as Bag Chui’s Hammer, said to be forged by the Beastman God of Barbaric Courage, Bag Chui. Beastmen who hold this Legendary Weapon gain the Power of Barbaric Courage to destroy any enemy, only the bravest Warriors among Beastmen can wield it.

”Let this Red Dragon’s Dragon Blood revive your ancient glory,” Beastman Cole raised the Hammer of Destruction, soaring through the air, passing over the crowded landing Beastman Warriors, landing before the artillery and Giant Crossbow’s formation.
