Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 360: Chapter 139: Battle of Redemption (Part 2)

The Green Dragon even suspected that the Centaur could easily twist her neck with steel arms as thick as the average human thigh.

She felt an extremely lethal threat from the Centaur, and since Centaur Chiron lacked true respect for this Green Dragon, she held a grudge against him.

”Roar,” Blue Dragon Carlette’s vertical pupils flickered with tiny sparks of lightning. She let out a low growl from her throat, revealing her sharp, clean white fangs as a warning to the Green Dragon.

”The alliance of Evil Dragons exists because each dragon must prove its abilities to gain an equal status with other members, Ali, we can’t even be part of the alliance yet,”

Blue Dragon Carlette lifted her head and spoke coldly, ”To hold a position that commands respect, complete your task without unnecessary thoughts. If this affects the strategy of the Dragon Group,”

”When the slumbering Red Dragon awakens, he will twist off your head and hang it on the city walls as decoration. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to see the Red Dragon, usually so generous and magnanimous, in anger.”

Blue Dragon Carlette was different from the Green Dragon; she had seen Karon’s desire to kill his own kind. Though she was no longer part of the Dragon Group in recent years, she understood the true nature of the Red Dragon.

Before you violate the will of that Red Dragon, you possess absolute power and freedom, but once you cross the line, he will show you why his scales are red.

The Green Dragon was not privileged to see the Red Dragon Monarch, who mostly traveled between the Dragon Nest and the King’s Castle, and thus did not have a clear concept of the Master of the Dragon Clans, but she was nonetheless intimidated by Blue Dragon’s solemn warning.

”Alright,” the Green Dragon shook her head and gazed into the distant horizon, where lines of black dots rapidly expanded into groups of Beastman Warriors.

The ground trembled slightly, endlessly stretching with Beastman Warriors stepping in unison; countless Beastmen followed behind thousands of cavalry, charging forward, as the rolling dust billowed, like smoke dragons sweeping closer.

”Go, tell Centaur Legion Commander Chiron that the Beastmen indeed chose to attack along the route from Hill Castle. I’ll hold off these Beastmen here, let him act according to plan and crush these Beastmen here.”

Blue Dragon Carlette ordered the Flying Dragon Rider beside her, watching the rider mount the Two-legged Flying Dragon and set off, she stood up from the low hill, overlooking the approaching Beastman Army.

”All ready, prepare to take off, for the Gogomola Dragon Group, bury the enemy here once and for all!”

”For the Gogomola Dragon Group!” all the riders shouted loudly.

Whoosh, all the Flying Dragons spread their wings at this moment, eager to ascend.

Rumble,

The Beastman Tribe alliance surged over the grasslands like a tide, flattening the wild grass and scattering the beasts.

The powerful Great Chief Detan An was the mightiest warrior among the Beastman Tribe, riding a strong Fierce Dragon Beast, leading the charge at the forefront of the cavalry, standing at the forefront of his warriors, refusing to weakly let his warriors encircle him.

Beside him, the Beastman Guards raised the simplistic yet rugged banner of the Beastman Alliance Army, galloping behind this powerful Beastman Chief.

”Great Chief, those hateful Giant Dragons’ Flying Dragons finally dare to appear head-on, let me deal with them and bring glory to the tribe,”

Beside him, a Beastman Warrior shouted loudly. These Beastmen, born on the grasslands, were also excellent cavalry, capable of performing any maneuver on their mounts, let alone merely conversing while running.

”No, we do not fight for glory. Glory paved with the blood and bones of our people holds no meaning,” the powerful Beastman Chief spoke with a deep voice, carrying an undeniable authority.

”We fight for survival. Only by driving away and killing these Evil Dragons can we continue to survive and develop on these grasslands without being forced to relocate to more distant, colder places,”

”It is because of this that the Beastman Tribes have gathered under my banner. If it were merely for glory, they wouldn’t easily submit to my power.”

The Beastman Chief Detan An’s body was covered with scars on his bronze skin, remnants of battles fought in his weaker days. In this land, survival is not sought through others’ pity and charity, but through weapons and the edge of blades.

”Pay no attention to these creatures; they merely wish to slow our pace. Our current target is the Dragon Group’s mines and salt flats. Sweep these areas clear and invade the Dragon Group’s territory, join forces with those Beastmen and achieve final victory!”

The Beastman Guards no longer obsessed over so-called glory, instead merging into the flood of the army, rushing past the rolling low hills.

But Blue Dragon Carlette, along with Green Dragon Ali and the Two-legged Flying Dragon Corps, was already soaring in the sky. Unable to directly block the Beastman cavalry, they wisely chose to attack the Beastman Army lagging behind the cavalry.

Blue Dragon Carlette and the Green Dragon flew over the Beastman Army with the Flying Dragon Corps, aiming to sever the connection between the Beastman infantry and the cavalry from the middle of the army.

The two Giant Dragons wantonly unleashed Magic, spewing lightning and toxic mist, killing Beastman Soldiers one by one. The popping sounds of the Flying Dragon Riders’ previous skirmishes and raids had long been exhausted.
