Chapter 567: Chapter 242: Start Training (Two-in-One Mega Chapter)_4

After a while, the light dimmed once again.

Suddenly, the sound of the water jets became sharper, as if mixed with some tiny particles.

At this moment, Rein’s eyes were slightly closed, and he could see that the water being ejected from the holes in the walls of the pool had turned pale red—these must be the so-called fire rock particles.

These tiny particles, hitting Rein’s skin, were painfully stinging!

But the effects were also extremely good.

When they struck certain connective tissue areas, some of the muscle adhesions that had occurred during explosive movements began to loosen from the shocks.

However, the pain was genuinely intense; Rein knew without looking down that his skin must look like a lobster that had been turned bright red.

As time went on, the pain, as the girl had said, became increasingly intense and increasingly unbearable…

After thinking it over, Rein tried slowly to restore the defensive effect of “Intermediate Steel Body.”

Of course, to maximize the effects of the torrent, Rein kept the power of Steel Body around ten percent.

Immediately, the painful sensation was significantly weakened, but the overall impact of the torrent was not greatly diminished.

This brought joy to Rein’s heart!

And the efficacy of the potent Strength potion he had taken previously started to accelerate into his body due to the torrent.

Soon, fifteen minutes passed…

By now, the people outside the door had begun to frequently look up at Rein’s room, waiting for the ‘soon to arrive’ sound of the door opening.

A few minutes later, the group could not help but feel surprised.

“Kim, this young man is not weak,” Baltan said in his deep voice.

“This… Indeed!” Kim too was very astonished.

“But it should be almost over.”

…

Another five minutes passed, and now, nobody spoke much.

Because they were well aware that under these two enhanced conditions, there were only a few present who could last twenty minutes, and if they could, they were the Great Knights with exceptionally firm Will.

However, they believed that the young man must also be nearing his limit.

Because the stimulation from the torrent would become stronger and more arduous to endure…

Meanwhile, inside the advanced torrent room.

Rein had discovered a little trick; under the impact of a high-speed torrent mixed with fire rock particles, assuming the positions of the Bear King Breathing Technique made the effects of the torrent even better.

At this moment, he felt pleasantly warm, and the original muscle fiber damage was gradually repaired by the bloodflow that the torrent had accelerated.

And those adhesions caused by muscle strains during previous bursts were mostly dispersed by now.

Capillaries immediately supplemented the repair areas with various nutrients.

At that moment, a system prompt suddenly appeared:

[Congratulations! Your Strength attribute has increased!]

“Eh?”

“The effects of the potion are releasing this quickly?”

“According to the label’s description, the effects of this potent Strength potion should be slowly released over half a month.”

“While it starts faster and slows down later, it shouldn’t be this quick.”

“Logically, there should be a slight increase after four or five days, and then another small increase at the half-month mark. The overall increase should be about ten percent,” Rein muttered to himself.

As his Strength attribute rose from 28 to 29, Rein felt full of vim and vigor, enduring the high-speed torrent’s impact while simultaneously intensifying the training of the Bear King Breathing Technique.

Rein was enjoying his training session in the room, but those outside were already staring at each other, wide-eyed.

It had been forty-five minutes already…

How could the young man inside possibly…

Kim glanced at his Captain Waynes beside him, his expression somewhat sheepish. He had suggested this room to the Captain, but now there was no sign of the other man coming out.

However, at this moment, Waynes wasn’t paying attention to Kim’s small movements; instead, he was frowning slightly as if pondering something.

A few more minutes went by, and Waynes couldn’t help but look puzzled and asked:

“Are you certain it was an unfamiliar young man who entered, not the captain of another squad?”

“Never seen him before!”

“Yeah, even if it was a captain newly promoted last year, we would have seen them a couple of times. This is definitely our first encounter with this one.”

“Snap!”

Suddenly, Kim’s eyes lit up, he slapped his thigh as if he had an epiphany, and said:

“Hey, do you think it’s possible that the young man passed out inside before managing to pull the lever?”

…
