Chapter 551: Chapter 238: Also Became a Scholar for Once (Two in One Large Chapter)_4

“….”

Seeing the eager forward strides of several people, wishing to spar with him, instantly brought great joy to Rein’s heart.

It was like planting willows without intending to, only for the willows to provide shade!

Don’t rush!

Line up, one by one.

I’ll take on all of you, one person at a time!

“Everyone, don’t rush. Take turns. I believe everyone will have a chance,” Rein said with a smile.

Hearing Rein say this, the crowd calmed down and promptly selected one among them to step forward and seek guidance from Rein first.

Ten minutes passed, then the second person…

After half an hour, the third person…

Hmm, this one has quite good stamina, more enduring, though still not as good as Rein.

Forty-five minutes later, the fourth person…

…

After a continuous battle against four strapping youths, even Rein, with his high Constitution of twenty-nine points, felt somewhat tired.

However…

At that moment, ‘Rocken Axe Shield Combat Skill’ successfully advanced to lv5.

Suddenly, a flood of memories concerning the training of axe shield combat skills poured into Rein’s mind.

These fragmented axe shield combat skill training memories flashed through Rein’s mind and quickly integrated into his muscle memory, as if he had been earnestly practicing the Rocken axe shield combat skill for over a year.

At this time, observing Rein’s sparring with others, Angus, who was standing to the side, felt incredibly envious and could no longer maintain the composure of a master. He approached Rein, speaking in a deep and resonant voice:

“Lord Rein, do you need to rest for a bit?”

“Lord Rein, I also admire you quite a bit… I don’t know if…”

Rein couldn’t help but feel greatly amused within!

I’ve been waiting for you!

As he reduced his remaining attribute points from thirteen to twelve, Rein added a point to Constitution, bringing it back up to thirty.

At the same time, a warm surge from his heart flushed away Rein’s fatigue in an instant!

….

Half an hour later, Rein and Angus were both drenched in sweat, but their eyes were bright and clear. Obviously, both had gained valuable insights from their recent sparring.

In the meantime, the red-haired beauty Irina and Vinica had also arrived at the training room together. At first glance, they saw the ‘deep gaze’ that Rein and Angus shared.

For a moment, the two women exchanged looks, their expressions one of astonishment!

…

In these three days, Rein had a fulfilling time.

During the day, he was in the training room, sparring with others and quickly advancing the level of his Rocken Axe Shield Combat Skills, while at night, he attended three different noble’s dinner parties, accompanied by Jenny and Agatha.

Thanks to Rein’s connections, the new trading company had long completed its sales tasks for the goods they brought.

At the same time, The new trading company had also signed long-term supply or cooperation agreements with shops or trading companies controlled by these nobles.

Furthermore, as a representative of the new trading company, Jenny also purchased a residence and a shop, to serve as a temporary base for themselves and Matteo.

Although the shop’s location was not particularly bustling, it already exceeded the targets she had set before her arrival.

To the provincial nobles of Mingster, Jenny and Agatha, the ‘country’ noble ladies, were seen as the ‘white gloves’ of the promising Sword Bearer Lord Rein, and were therefore treated with great respect.

This helped both women to quickly form bonds with many noble offspring, and business matters gradually got on the right track.

…..

Three days later.

Sword Holder Mingster Branch, newcomer building’s lobby.

The young people who had passed the assessment gathered once more, and standing before them was that familiar middle-aged Great Knight

He laughed as he spoke, “First of all, congratulations to you all for passing the selection of the Sword Bearers of the Empire and becoming honorable Imperial Iron Sword Bearers.”

“Additionally, Rein from Meister exhibited excellent performance in the preliminary trials and was the only candidate who defeated an Obsidian Giant. Therefore, by the resolution of the Sword Bearer Mingster Branch…”

As he said this, the middle-aged Great Knight paused for a moment, surveying the surroundings, and then continued:

“Rein Carlan, exempted from the secondary examination, is appointed directly as Sword Bearer Captain, enjoying the benefits of a Bronze Sword Bearer.”

The middle-aged Great Knight glanced at Rein in the crowd and marveled inwardly; it had been nearly five or six years since such a scenario had last occurred, right?

Admiral Edward’s personal endorsement.

Such is the treatment of a talent!

He passed both preliminary and secondary exams with just a single hammer blow, and his allowances were also confirmed!

Initially, the people who had just passed the examination were silent, as if trying to digest what the middle-aged Great Knight had said, but then, as if boiling water, the whole place suddenly erupted into excitement!

What?

Exempt from the secondary exam?

He became a captain just like that?

Many people’s eyes turned red with envy!

Rein himself was a little stunned upon hearing this. He hadn’t expected to become a direct admission student.

After a good while of whispering among themselves, the middle-aged Great Knight finally commanded in a steady voice, “Silence!”

“The Sword Bearer badges that will be distributed shortly are exclusive to each of you. Please take good care of them,” said the middle-aged Great Knight as he pointed toward the tray that the Attendant was holding, covered with a black cloth, and continued speaking.

“The badge is not only your proof of being a Sword Bearer but is also the pass for entering the various departments of the Sword Bearers. If you wish to exchange for special items in the future, you will also need your badge to check and exchange…”
