I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1651 - 22.37 Third Red Star - Under Arrest

The mention of the Mermaid King’s existence made the young lieutenant flinch. Not only did he suddenly look pale, he even seemed so terrified. After all, he knew who the mermaid king was and where he was currently staying. The fact that the Shaka Clan was suddenly cursed made him have a sudden realization of what happened while he was away. He remembers telling the clan the schedule when the general and the colonel would be taking their leave from the main city. With such an opportunity in their eyes, there is no way they will waste it, and in the end, the clan was exposed and this curse was bestowed upon them.

Just as he was about to ask questions and check whether his theories were correct or not, Colonel Lou Wuye showed a video. It’s the scene of a certain young master from the Shaka Clan wanting to force a group of tired little mermaids to keep seeing. The little mermaid’s caretaker stopped the young master and was slapped, making the little mermaid attack the young master and scold him with human language. When the people in the room heard the little mermaids talking, they planned to resell them, and the certain young master tried to grab the little mermaid.

It was then that the mermaid king’s presence had shown itself; using water as a medium, he protected the caretaker and the little mermaids, allowing them to escape the mansion. The young lieutenant was actually terrified when he saw his uncle pull out a gun intending to kill someone, but a blade of water cleanly cut his hands, making him unable to pull the trigger. These actions from the Shaka Clan had further angered the mermaid king, and thus, a curse of endless rain fell on their land. This rain was able to cut off the skin of anyone evil from the Shaka Clan.

They can’t walk under the rain as it would feel like countless blades cut their skin and flesh. They can’t use an umbrella or anything as a cover as the rain would turn into an acid that can melt anything in just a few seconds. In short, the Shaka Clan is stuck inside their territory until the curse has faded.

This curse is selective. It would only punish those who were involved in that last accident and anyone in the mansion who had done bad things. For the others, this rain is just ordinary rain. Like how Lieutenant Shaka and Colonel Lou Wuye were unaffected by the curse of the rain even after walking under it.

Colonel Lou Wuye didn’t care much about the curse on the Shaka Clan and focused on the task he was given and the reason why he was here. Thus, he reminded his former lieutenant about his goal and why he returned to this place.

”Former Lieutenant Shaka, don’t forget why you had returned at this time,” the colonel said to the young lieutenant.

The former young lieutenant chose to ignore his worries for the clan, and his mind was full of thoughts about his mother. He nodded towards his former superior and said to the guard, ”Where is my mother? I came today to take her away.”

The call that was left hanging after the arrival of the third young master was reported to the patriarch and suddenly sounded with the voice of the young lieutenant’s father.

[My son, you cannot just take away my wife. Forget it; come inside and let’s have a family conversation.]

”You will have to let go of my mother if you don’t want to lose this clan.”

[...Come to the mansion’s receiving hall.]

Colonel Lou said, ”I will go in as well.”

Sirius von Shaka turned to look at Colonel Lou and saw him nod his head. With the Colonel backing him up, the young lieutenant felt even more determined to leave the clan. Even though he was dismissed from the main troop of the general, the latter didn’t send any news to the military upon his dismissal. The other thought he was being forced by his clan to betray the general and choose to leave so he would not be used by his parasitic clan.

The two walk towards the mansion unhindered. Upon their arrival at the mansion, the old butler had prepared towels for them.

”Young master, please dry yourself. You too, Lord Colonel,” but the old butler was surprised that, unlike his soaked young master, the colonel is completely dry, which is unimaginable.

However, despite his surprise, he remains professional and guides the two to the receiving hall, where the patriarch and the other member of the Shaka Clan are waiting. This is especially true for the third madam and the third master, who is the father of Sirius von Shaka. Upon the arrival of the two, everyone looked calm, but their eyes wandered from Sirius and lingered on the colonel, whose cold eyes looked around the area.

The patriarch of the Shaka Clan asked, ”Why would the esteemed Colonel of the Black Dragon Troops be here in our humble home?”

The colonel pulled a military order to bring the mother of Lieutenant Shaka for further investigation. ”I am here to bring the mother of the former lieutenant, Sirius von Shaka, to the headquarters. Our proof found out that she had been exchanging some letters with the space pirates while we were on the mission that regards the strange sea level.”

The former, young lieutenant was shocked and didn’t expect the military to make such a move. There is an arrest warrant from the general and a decree from the royal clan. The Third Master of the Shaka Clan and the Third Madam herself were shocked by this situation.

”This is ridiculous! That is fake! Fake!!”

The third master was enraged as he grabbed the hand showing the hologram of an arrest warrant and the royal clan’s decree. Of course, these two are fakes. They only need to use this so the Shaka Clan will give up the Third Madam and get the former lieutenant out of this family.

”Are you saying that the general and the king’s signatures are fake? Or the videos of interrogation of the third madam’s maids and servants are also fake? Or is it the military you are questioning the Third Master of the Shaka Clan?”

”By the way, according to the laws of the federation, a criminal must not stay connected in any way to any nobles in the federation. Your divorce process had also been approved by the judge. With that said, the adult third young master of the Shaka Clan, to gain a foothold for promotion to a higher position, he must also not have any connection to the noble clans and will be kicked out of the Shaka Clan as per the request of the General. Please sign this agreement,” said Colonel Lou Wuye.

There are too many things to question; however, each and everything is a real proof of each situation. The third master didn’t even know he was divorced and lost his control over his wife. He lost the last chain he could use to keep his son in the Shaka Clan. No one can even complain as this is the real signature and seal of that demon general, who is the real authority in the federation.

Colonel Lou Wuye approached the third madam with a handcuff in his hand, ”Third madam, you are under arrest for putting the federation in danger and getting involved with the space pirates putting the Shaka Clan, this noble clan in peril. Please come with us to the headquarters for further questioning.”

The colonel and the third madam look into each other’s eyes as if trying to read each other’s intentions. The colonel lightly gestured for the madam to look in the direction where her son, Sirius von Shaka, is.

Sirius von Shaka said, ”Mother, don’t worry. I will try to get you a way to go out.”

”Sigh, forget it. I only did that so to push you further. Since I got caught, there is no need to hide,” said the third madam as she reached her hand and let herself be handcuffed.

In reality, she didn’t know anything, but seeing that even her son seems to be out of the loop for this plan meant that it was all planned by someone from the military. It was such a fun plan, but would need to have the approval of the general and the king itself. According to what she heard before and watched on the starweb in the past few days, it seems the mysterious Madam Ye and King Nokto are close friends.

If their relationship is good enough to get a fake royal decree from the young king, then this plan is not impossible. There is no way that a henpecked husband, the general, would decline anything his wife wanted to do, and thus his signature and seal as well as a fake arrest warrant were even provided. The military is obviously helping them, the mother and son, be freed from the reins of the Shaka Clan. She also had gotten tired of being used by her useless husband to threaten their son.

As expected, the Third Master of the Shaka Clan grabbed her arm with bloodshot eyes and said, ”Madam, this is a lie, right? There is no way you have any connection with the space pirates. Though we don’t know how your maids and servants were caught, this is all a part of a scheme. Madam, please deny this stupid situation!? You don’t want the lives of your clan to be destroyed, don’t you? Deny everything! You understand, right?”

Sirius von Shaka, Colonel Lou, and everyone else in the hall didn’t expect the third master to threaten his wife in the face like this. Normally, no one would have cared about such a threat; only Sirius would. Unfortunately, the third master had forgotten about the presence of the second highest in command in the military. This show of abuse towards a female will not be ignored by him.

As expected, the colonel made a move and restrained the third master by force and even handcuffed him to his back. His actions were a lot rougher than when he treated the third madam and said, ”You’re under arrest for abusive behavior towards your wife. You can send your lawyer to the headquarters if you want to fight for your rights.”
