I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1647 - 22.33 Third Red Star - Escaped?

Without knowing their plan had been exposed, the three hidden intruders had kept and lasted for a whole hour. Hei Anjing removed the barrier around the mansion. As expected, the intruders took this as an opportunity and immediately left their hidden spot to escape the mansion of the general.

”Leader, the barrier is down!”

”Let’s go!”

”Run without looking back!”

Seeing that the barrier had disappeared, all three men were seen running away. They had caused so much commotion that the guards at the gates noticed them immediately. Some of them even destroyed and jumped through the window, breaking through the glass. They even ignored the scratches on their face and body, focusing on escaping. A waste of a second meant death after all.

Unfortunately, their hopes were instantly destroyed the moment they saw the king of mermaids morphing from the tiny droplets of water that appeared before the gates blocking their path. Seeing this, the men called two and four and made a decision to save just their leader.

”Leader, live!”

”Survive, One!”

The two used their bodies to protect their leader and even restrained the guards at the gates. The water droplets were like countless blades falling onto them. Numerous wounds appeared on their bodies, and as if their skins were being peeled, it didn’t take long for them to look like skinless beings and crimson flesh exposed in air. Worse of all, the water drops were even more merciless, slicing through their flesh and bones.

Before the leader of the group called, one took one last glance behind him; he saw his two comrades turning into a pool of blood while under the water droplets that seemed like rain for him. There he saw the unhurried figure of the Mermaid King. What was magical about it was that he didn’t even look wet under this strange rain, and the pool of blood was like red paint tainting his white jade feet.

After being reborn as a mermaid in this world, Hei Anjing had a habit of not wearing shoes. His feet were equivalent to his fishtail, and wearing shoes made him uncomfortable. It is only tolerable for this clean freak to not wear any shoes because he can use his ability as a mermaid to clean his feet anytime.

Meeting the eyes of the escapee, the God of Destruction gave him a gentle smile. But this smile just left a more traumatic imprint in the mind of the man with the alias of One.

’Freaking Monster!’

The two soldiers at the gates didn’t chase the man that escaped from the mansion and instead checked on their general’s other half and asked about his state. They were worried, as they didn’t even notice what was happening in the mansion and didn’t even realize that they were intruders who had entered the mansion.

”Madam! Are you alright?”

”These intruders! How come we didn’t notice them?!”

Hei Anjing said, ”Don’t worry. It’s not your fault. No one was hurt. Prepare to welcome the general back. He should be returning today.”

”We will keep an eye on the general’s return!” The soldiers at the gates said.

It had been the third day since General Ye and his troops had left the main city for a mission. Learning that the backbone of the military is about to return, the soldiers were so joyous that they forgot the matter of the intruders for a moment. Only when Hei Anjing had disappeared did they smell the thick scent of blood coming under their feet.

”This… Blood?”

”Did the madam kill the intruders?”

”One had escaped thought, and that is our fault.”

”Will the general scold us?”

”It’s better to be scolded than to be dismissed.”

”It’s a bit eerie that we didn’t notice anything until those men came towards us. Are they running away from Madam?”

”Watch your mouth and help me clean the blood.”

After Hei Anjing disappeared from the front gates of the mansion, he returned to the poolside garden and jumped into the pool. Once he resurfaces, his human feet are replaced by a large fishtail, and even his ears turn into a fin. Half of his body leans over the pool as if jumping in the water was a means to cleanse himself.

Yun Ming reappeared behind him and handed him a glass of milk tea. He said, ”Master, everything had been restored to normal.”

”Yang, make sure to allow that one that escaped to return to where he came from,” said Hei Anjing.

A small sun appeared in thin air and swayed for a while. It responded, [Yes, Master.]

After a while, the small sun flew away to complete the task that was given to it. He had to make sure that the man whom the lord had intentionally escaped would reach the location of the people who had hired them and make sure to pay for the deaths of his comrades. They had never warned them that the mysterious Madam Ye was something that was absolutely dangerous. Right now, the warrior called One was running for his life, and he appeared to be a madman on the run.

However, with System Yang backing him up. All his traces were erased and manipulated by him. As a system, his reach within the world of technology is unparalleled. The person himself didn’t even realize that all he could think about at this moment was to escape and survive.

The thought of the man called ’One’.

”I must run! Escape as far as possible!”

”That isn’t a human. He is a devil that enjoys killing! A goddamn monster!

”They shouldn’t have targeted Madam Ye.”

”What weakness?! That’s their hidden trump card!”

This terrified man ran and ran without even looking back once. He was called crazy and was even punched a few times. However, he ignored everyone else and just ran. After spending a few hours with anxiety, fear, and nervousness, One finally reached the territory of the Shaka Clan. The guards were already informed of ’his’ supposed to be ’their’ arrival. His group of five was down to him alone.

The guards at the gate of the Shaka Clan’s mansion asked, ”Are you alone? Aren’t there supposed to be five of you?”

”Do you have a cigarette? Give me one,” One asked.

A guard pulled one from his pocket and offered the man a cigarette and a lighter. One felt irked by these questions, but he was still rational enough not to explode on the spot. The scent of blood on him, which was from his comrades, still lingers. The guards thought that they had completed the task as always and even joked around with One.

”I think I know why your teammates aren’t around.”

”They had enough fun on this mission and went home to rest.”

”The target is the general’s mansion. If not for the general being away, it is almost impossible to enter his house.”

”Hahaha~ so have you seen it?”

”Did you bully Madam Ye?”

”At least give me a clue. Who is Madam Ye?”

The guards were teasing One and didn’t even notice his face turned pale at first and darker the second when the words Madam Ye were mentioned. That title was the very reason for his nightmare and also the person who had killed all his friends.

He can still recall how Two and Fourth exploded into a pool of blood, how Fifth was killed in fear, and how Third was beheaded. Every single scene is too vivid in his mind, and something finally snapped in One at this moment. He pulled the cigarette resting in his mouth and used it to burn the mouth of the guard who spoke the most.

AHHH!

”Fuck! What the hell is wrong with you, One?!” Another guard helped his friend, whose mouth was directly burned by One’s cigarette.

One’s eyes had turned fierce and bloodshot. He is now like a wounded beast. A crazed one who lost everything and had gone insane because of it. He is out of control and beats up the two guards before him. His face shows emotions of remorse, anger, fear, and sadness. The pain in his heart was overwhelming enough, as he didn’t even have enough time to grieve about the deaths of his comrades.

He started screaming while punching people, ”What do you know? What the hell do you know?”

”Have fun?”

”Went home?”

”Bully the fucking who?!”

”My friends are all dead!!”

”Not even a corpse remains.”

”What is there to have fun? Yes, fun. The one who had fun hunting us indeed enjoyed himself enough that he was even singing as he killed them one by one!”

”There are not even enough of them left to be brought home!”

”Who bullied who?!”

”That one is not to be bullied but a damn monster! Monster!!”

One started strangling the guard and is clearly suffering from a mania. Almost all the guards had been summoned just to capture him and sedate him. In the end, the patriarch of the Shaka Clan ordered for One to be transferred to a mermaid facility to be cured by a little mermaid. The members of the Shaka Clan were shocked when they watched the surveillance video that day, and the words of One lingered in their minds. Just this alone was enough to prove that One had indeed met Madam Ye and most likely saw him face to face.

Upon learning that One’s comrades had been annihilated, though they didn’t know the details, this just shows the proof that the general didn’t leave his wife alone in the mansion. They themselves couldn’t believe that the general would find someone as strong as him as a lover. Generally, most men like their counterparts to be weaker than they are.
