I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1645 22.31 Third Red Star - Confession

The royal decree sent by the royal clan made people realize that the situation at the sea line was a lot more dire than they expected. The rumors made by the Shaka Clan became useless, and people condemning the general and military were replaced with a prayer instead.

Now everyone is wishing for the sea to calm down and not harm anyone. However, why would the God of the Sea listen to the prayers of his enemies? Humans and marine races never got along from the beginning to the present, and if not for the fact that both sides chose to sign a treaty after such a long war, either of the races would have perished from this world forever.

Today is the second day since the sea has retreated. General Ye had come to the seashore himself to check the situation. Ever since he arrived yesterday, the size of the seashore had increased twice today. Making him frown and look coldly at the horizons of the sea as if staring at something.

Colonel Lou Wuye and Lieutenant Shaka had come over to report. Their mission is to transfer those who live at the seaside away from the sea itself. However, there are lots of protestants.

Colonel Lou saluted and said, ”General, a third of the residents had agreed to retreat to the main city. However, the rest didnʼt want to move at all.”

Lieutenant Shaka said, ”What should be done? The Mermaid Kingʼs warning was only until tomorrow afternoon. We must also retreat before tomorrowʼs afternoon arrives.”

He showed a frightened expression. He had seen the result of the machine from their branch headquarters and sent a drone to the sea. They saw a towering wall of water still gearing to gather as much seawater from the land. It was tall enough to bury a small island under the sea.

The general stared at his lieutenant with an expressionless face, making the latter flinch at first and tremble after. Lieutenant Shaka doesnʼt understand why the general is looking at him similar to how he looked at the corpses of their enemies.

With his voice shaking, Lieutenant Shaka asked, ”D-Did I… do something… wrong, general?”

Colonel Lou Wuye guessed why the lord was staring at his lieutenant in such a way. He had a subject he thought about, which made him disappointed by this young lieutenant. However, he chooses not to show any changes on his face, as the Lord is planning on giving this young man one last chance to confess.

He said, ”Lieutenant Shaka, do you have anything to tell the general? Like a confession?”

”C-Confession... N-No. What kind of confession?”

The young lieutenant stuttered and thought that maybe the general and the colonel finally noticed that he had a crush on the general and was giving him a chance to confess. Thinking that he had a chance, the face of the young man was covered in blush.

Tsk!

As if reading his thoughts, the general had gotten annoyed and clicked his tongue. He even averted his eyes as if losing the last patience he gave to this young lieutenant. After all, the only reason the general is giving this young man to confess his sin is because of his undying loyalty to the original general, and he wanted to return the gratitude for informing his chief warden about the auction that night. If not for that auction, they wouldnʼt have found his wife so fast in this world.

Unfortunately, this young manʼs brain is full of air; how could he imagine that the general will fall in love with him? If the God of Destruction learns about this, not only the God of Void will get beaten up for not cleaning up his peach blossoms, but the God of Destruction himself will eliminate this young lieutenant or tease him for entertainment. Treating him as a toy until he was finally broken in the end.

Colonel Lou Wuye couldnʼt allow this young lieutenant to waste any more of their time, especially at a time like this, and said, ”Donʼt dream while awake. The confession I am asking about was something you shouldnʼt have done! Did you do something that is against the military or the general himself?”

In these words, the inexperienced young lieutenant of the world failed to control his expression. His face instantly flushed its color, looking pale and colorless.

”I…I…”

General Ye spoke with an icy tone of voice, ”If you tell me what youʼve done, I will at least spare your life and the people you love.”

At this threat, the young lieutenant finally broke down and kneeled before the general. He was begging him while his face was covered with tears.

”I apologize. Please forgive me. They threatened me with my motherʼs life. I… I can only tell them that Madam Ye was left in the mansion alone after the general and the colonel had left. I truly only said these words and didnʼt say anything else. I am willing to pay with my life. Please… Please save my mother from the Shaka Clan.”

Lieutenant Shaka started knocking his head on the ground. But under it was just sand and could barely harm him. However, one can see the force he used to knock his head as the sand started flying each time he hit his head to the sandy floor.

How saddening that the man who was supposed to forgive him had now wanted to kill him on the spot. Who told him to target his beloved? All of those who tried to harm his other half can only die. The Chief Warden, who was watching at the side, had stiffened in fear. The deadly aura the God of Void is currently emitting is simply overwhelming, even for him.

Just as the God of Void was about to reach out to crack the young lieutenantʼs neck, his terminal had rang. He would usually ignore it as he was in a bad mood, but this is a call from his wife. The dark atmosphere around him faded as if it never existed by the time he answered the call from his wife.

[My love, spare the kid. He had listened to my warning well.]

Sigh~

”Baby, you know? Why didnʼt you tell me?”

[Hm. Arenʼt you busy? Moreover, if I tell you, where will all the fun go?]

The Chief Warden who was listening on the side had to cough to stop his laughter. His guess was indeed correct. The God of Destruction is treating the Shaka Clan as his toys for entertainment, and his lord had no words to retort. It is better for Lord Hei to have fun than to get bored. y Virtual Library Empire

Sigh~

”Alright. I will do as you wish, Baby. Canʼt you inform me next time?” complained the General.

[Giggle~ Okay, I will tell you ahead of next time. Remember to come back before tomorrowʼs sunset. I love you always. Keep safe, my love.]

”I love you too, Jingʼer. I shall be back soon.”

The call ended by the other side, and the generalʼs eyes once again fell on the young lieutenant kowtowing before him. His face is devoid of emotions, which is a complete contrast to his delighted face from when he was talking with his wife, the God of Destruction.

General Ye spoke, ”Sirius von Shaka. You shall be stripped of your title and no longer be a part of the military after this mission. Colonel Lou Wuye will send you back to your clan once weʼve returned to the main city.”

Lieutenant Shaka looked delighted even after being dismissed from the military. Just the fact that the general is sending the colonel back to his home with him was enough to pressure the whole clan to give up his mother and help the two of them split from the Shaka Clan.

”Thank you… Thank you, General!”

”Get lost!”

”Yes. Yes!”

After the young lieutenant had taken his leave, the God of Void told his subordinate about his next task.

”Wuye, take those people back forcibly, and if they truly donʼt want to leave even after this, leave them be. We are returning to the main city tomorrow after lunch!” said the general.

Colonel Lou saluted and responded, ”Yes, sir!”

Meanwhile, in the main city. General Yeʼs Mansion.

Hei Anjing was enjoying his tea in the mansionʼs garden with Yun Ming. In the garden, a huge swimming pool was also built, and this is where the little mermaid enjoys swimming around. There are also lots of miniature clam shells in it, as well as lots of toys the little mermaids would enjoy playing with.

The little mermaids are happy to live in this pool, especially since they can see their king anytime they want. Also, there is no one that will stop them from singing anytime they want, and no one will force them to sing either. They happily live in this place without any problems. Moreover, there will be a time when they will meet a human that is meant for them.

Plus, under the strict teaching of the mermaid general, they were all able to speak human language and understand the language itself. They learn knowledge the laboratories prevented them from learning before.

In the first place, even though the little mermaids are playful, they are definitely not stupid. They can also differentiate between humans who like them for real and those who see them as tools. They all pretended to be stupid so they would not be exploited by those bad humans.

The little mermaid gathers at the side of the pool, which is near the table where the mermaid king and the mermaid general are seated.

”Your Majesty! Your Majesty, play with us please~”

”Sing. Sing~ I want to sing with the king!”

”Me too~”

However, this peace is disturbed by some uninvited guests at this moment. The first one to react to the movements was Yun Ming. He immediately warned the little mermaids, asking them to hide for a while.

”There are some enemies. You little ones hide for now.”

The little mermaids looked at each other and instantly dove down to hide in their small houses as the mermaid general asked them to.

Yun Ming asked the God of Destruction, ”Master, what should we do?”

”Welcome them. They are my new uninvited toys~” said the Mermaid King.
