I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1636 22.23 Third Red Star - Siegfred Clanʼs Karma

The second prince came home with a sane mind, and the other servants pushed his cage over to the crown princeʼs place. However, his uncle, who came under the pleas of his mother, can only return in a casket that was personally delivered by the two royal knights beside the crown prince.

The Siegfred Clan was dumbfounded and enraged by such actions from the crown prince. They tried to detain and kill Royal Knight Wolfred and Royal Knight Xion in their clanʼs territory. However, they had not only lost half of the power of their clan. They were almost exterminated as a group.

It was at that moment that the second queen, Rosena von Siegfred, realized that she had made the wrongest move against the royal family. The Crown Prince, Nokto Ceil Augustine, is not like his mother, who didnʼt have any real strength or authority aside from the current king.

Instead, he possessed power and people that surpassed both the royal family and the Siegfred Clan. If there is one who can contend with his power, it might only be the military that leads the federation.

Now, the whole Siegfred Clan was down for depression after losing a lot due to the fault of the actions the second queen had taken. They had weakened a lot and lost a lot of support. Moreover, the First Princess, Rose, was not replying to their orders.

After being scolded by her husband, Princess Rose decided to listen to her consort. After all, she didnʼt want her own family to be destroyed because of her maternal clan. At the very least, she no longer wanted to disappoint the person she loved the most.

At the Siegfred Clanʼs Mansion...

The elders, the second prince, and the second queen had all gathered in one hall. Half of the mansion was in ruins as they tried to kill the two royal knights who dropped by to give their clan a warning.

The second queen had thoroughly offended the crown prince the last time in the throne hall. Thatʼs why, despite the restrictions the crown prince and his two royal knights had, after arriving in this world, they no longer hold back after being offended.

They had been following through their roles after descending into this world. They are not like Hei Anjing, who had the backing of the Divine Laws (Hunluan) and could break any laws as much as he wanted.

Though the plots are always destroyed as long as the God of Destruction descended in any world, it was only recently that he was fully free from the restraints. Being punished by some heavenly laws in the lower realm world cannot be avoided.

After all, the weaker the world is, the heavier the restrictions the gods will have after descending.

The atmosphere inside the hall was gloomy and dark. The aftermath of the battle that took place in the territory of the Siegfred Clan had caused them a lot.

Their reputation was destroyed because of what the second prince did and was exposed in a livestream. The second queen had to beg on her knees and then plotted to kill the crown prince, only to fail and get a warning threat that almost destroyed the mansion of the Siegfred family.

They tried to weaken the force under the crown prince, only to hit a wall of steel and suffer instead. Now they can only choose to be low-keyed until what they lost has been replenished.

The clanʼs patriarch had spoken, ”Rosena, do not start any more fights with the crown prince.”

”That child... he is no longer... hides his fangs. What the hell did you do the last time you met him?”

”Father! That damn brat forced me to kneel. Isnʼt it normal to get angry!?” The second queen complained.

”I want to teach that brat some lessons. Who would have thought that the two knights by his side are monsters!?”

”Canʼt we just bring over those two knights to our side? We can restart the creation of little mermaids with the artificially cloned mermaid eggs.”

”Shut up! Even if we have to restart that project, there is still the mermaid king! Unless we are able to extract their bloodline and tame it, those newly born little mermaids will still follow the commands of their king. Like how he had decreed that no one will treat the mental mania of your son!” The clanʼs patriarch said.

The second queen slammed a vase on the ground, clearly throwing tantrums in anger.

”That annoying mermaid king. If not for those greedy bastards creating him, things wouldnʼt have ended this way!”

”Father, find where the mermaid king is. As long as we get him back to our side, disciplining him shouldnʼt be so hard!”

”This problem is that we donʼt know where he might be. He suddenly disappeared that night, and even the last time he appeared, no one knew where he had disappeared to,” said the Siegfred Clanʼs patriarch.

The second prince said, ”Grandfather, the mermaid king might be with General Ye. Before the Livestream ended that day, Lord Ye Xiajie had appeared.”

The patriarch of the Siegfred clan frowned and said, ”You think that the general who hates the sea clan will spare the mermaid king for what he had done? They might have fought to the death with an ending of none of them dying.”

”But I think they might be together instead; the mermaid king might even be the one who woke up the general,” said Second Prince Rion.

The hall was suddenly filled with silence. After all, only their clan knew that General Ye had truly fallen into a state of deep slumber, and they were the reason why he ended up in such a state.

One of their laboratories had created a potion that enhanced mental distortion in oneʼs mind, causing them to collapse and faint. Deep sleep was a way to cope with such a state, and this state prevented one from going insane and killing oneself.

The patriarch spoke, ”Are you saying that it was the mermaid king who treated the general? What proof can you provide to prove your words, Rion?”

”That night in that auction, a descendant of the Shaka Clan and a mysterious man appeared in the auction hall. That one from the Shaka is obviously that black sheep who went and joined the military. I had an inkling that the mysterious man that night was Colonel Lou Wuye, General Yeʼs confidant,” said the second prince.

Everyone in the hall turned quiet yet stunned by the words the second prince had mentioned. They do not think that their descendants are lying after all. Compared to the others who say they saw the mermaid king in that auction with their own eyes, most of them are lying.

After all, none of the customers that night could hardly recall anything that happened that night. Their memories werenʼt completely erased. It was more blurred.

The patriarch asked, ”Rion, is this a memory that you recently recalled? Is that why you didnʼt say anything when you went home that day? What else can you remember?”

”The mermaid king is a monster that is so powerful even not in the sea. However, he looks completely uninterested in anything and seems to be treating his position as a mermaid king as a task instead of responsibility,” the second prince said.

The patriarch understood the hidden meaning of his grandsonʼs word. Even though the second prince is a tyrant who likes to look down on everyone, his observation eyes are top-notch. It was because of this that he could control a lot of his minions without them rebelling against him, even though sometimes they didnʼt approve of his actions.

”If what Rion had said is real, then... the mermaid king might be a being we could never control. We should find him and find a way to eliminate him,” said the patriarch. ”If he remains alive, the human race will perish once he sides with the sea clan.”

He spoke to his grandson and said, ”Rion, do not leave the mansion for now. I will find a way to resolve your issue with the little mermaids and cure you completely. For now, lay low.”

”Yes, Grandfather,” said the second prince.

On the other hand, at the crown princeʼs palace.

The preparations for a special banquet were made. The banquet wasnʼt planned lavishly and was done minimally. It was a low-key luxury banquet instead. After all, the one that was invited was someone from the military, and it was General Ye himself.

This banquet was done secretly as well. No one in the palace knew that the crown prince had invited the general. The faction of the royal clan and the military under the rule of the general had always been an opposing faction.

However, for some reason, to test the generalʼs side for an outsider like them, the crown prince invited General Ye for a simple meal, which led to this banquet being prepared. For some reason, the general accepted the invitation, making the crown prince and his two royal knights doubt the real identity of the general.

The Crown Prince Nokto waited with two of his knights seated at the same table as himself. They are waiting for their invited guest to arrive.

The prince said, ”Do you think he would truly come?”

”He might be... If not the general, then... his colonel might come instead,” said Royal Knight Xion.

Royal Knight Wolfred said, ”Is it because he attacked you as soon as he saw you bring out the teleportation scroll? That might be a coincidence.”

”He is the first one to notice me that day and also the person who tried to capture me instead of trying to kill me as an intruder. Donʼt you know that intruders who entered the military headquarters are all ordered to be executed on the spot?”

”Maybe itʼs a coincidence?”

”Coincidence never happens many times. When it frequently happens, then itʼs no longer a coincidence but an inevitable.”

Finally, a servant announced, ”General Ye and Colonel Lou have arrived!”
