I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1621 22.8 Third Red Star - Awake

After the group left the auction hall, they went straight to the Main City Hospital to check on the comatose general. Hei Anjing immediately turned into his small human form and was placed on the head of the sleeping general.

He immediately entered the generalʼs soul domain and found himself in the deepest part of the ocean. Looking at the two wall cliffs on his left and right, the God of Destruction realized that he was in some kind of trench within the sea. He looked around and saw a black sea dragon chained and wounded, sleeping peacefully on the ocean floor.

The God of Destruction approached the sleeping sea dragon fearlessly and headed to the chains around the sea dragon. He tried pulling out one, but the moment he touched it, his divinity was sealed along. He felt helpless like a fish out of water.

Hei Anjing complains, ”Why the hell thereʼs a divine-sealing chain in his place!? Alright! Now, Iʼm pissed! Who the hell said I canʼt destroy this damn chain!?”

WHOOSH!

He was about to touch the nearest chain beside him when suddenly he felt the world swirl. He was suddenly grabbed at the waist by something. When he opened his eyes, he met two large, crimson, vertical iris staring at him. Looking down at his waist is a dragon claw that caught him firmly.

Hei Anjing was still fearless and smiled sweetly at the black sea dragon. ”Hello, my love. Are you awake? Wait for me! I will definitely remove or destroy one or two chains so you can wake up.”

The black sea dragon didnʼt respond and just kept staring at Hei Anjing, who was still looking at him with silver eyes full of warm affection. Even though the black sea dragon couldnʼt recognize this silver fish that fearlessly appeared before him, he is also not willing to harm it as well. He gently threw it away towards the top of the trench.

However, the clingy silverfish didnʼt let go and hugged his claws without fear. He was afraid that the little fish would get cut into half by force if it continued and immediately stopped the whirlpools he made to bring him to the surface.

When Hei Anjing opened his eyes, the whirlpool had disappeared, and he looked at the black sea dragon with eyes that looked like he was being bullied badly. Though his tears are nonexistent underwater, his crying sounds very pitiful. Especially when his emotions are intensified when his other half is involved.

Hei Anjing said, ”You donʼt love me anymore. You want to send me away. Wuwu~”

The amnesiac black sea dragon was dumbfounded; he froze and didnʼt know what to do upon seeing the silvery fish cry. In reality, Hei Anjing was just acting. He wanted to know to what extent this sea dragon, who canʼt even remember him, is willing to pamper him.

As expected, the black sea dragon lowered his stance and placed one of his paws closer to Hei Anjing. The chain on this right paw had traces of breaking compared to the rest of the chains. The sea dragon didnʼt speak; however, his actions showed his thoughts. He wanted the silverfish to stop crying and did allow him to do as he wanted.

Hei Anjing stopped pretending to cry and happily hopped on the nearby dragon paws, holding on to it while checking the chains encircling it. There is a bit chipped part and a crack on the chain; however, it might look like a crack, but this chain is harder than steel. It canʼt be easily attacked again.

The God of Destruction avoided touching the chain as it made him feel weak. The moment he touched the chain, his divinity would waver and fall into a weakened state, which no one wanted. He climbed on the sea dragonʼs paw but avoided touching the chains and observing their effect. He wanted to find the right element to counter the chains. Hei Anjing used all elements he could wield to test its effect on the chain. As expected, it caused the elements to disperse half an inch away from the chain itself. Thatʼs how the divine sealing chainʼs effects are.

It was even more restrictive towards divine energy, making a god become no different from a mortal once they wear this kind of chain. It was because of this chain that the Sea Dragon couldnʼt leave this trench and was imprisoned here.

The God of Destruction tried freezing the chain; however, the whole ocean was almost frozen with it. Thus, he can only try using his natal weapon and summon his death scythe, Juedi.

A silver-tailed mermaid holding a death scythe is such a unique combination. But aside from the quiet black sea dragon, there is no one else there to see this scene. Juedi spoke through his mind to his masterʼs thoughts.

Juedi said, {Master, this is a divine-sealing chain. I can indeed cut it, but with your soul state, cutting one chain will lead to qi depletion, especially the fact that the moment I hit it, it would try to restrict us both. Do you still want me to try?}

The God of Destruction looked at his soul state and thought for a moment. He then decided, that even though he would be forced back to his physical body the moment he used Juedi to cut the chains, it was still worth a try.

ʼAlright. Letʼs do it after I say a few words to him,ʼ responded Hei Anjing to his natal weaponʼs spirit.

Hei Anjing met the eyes of the black sea dragon and said, ”After I cut the chain on your right wrist, you might be able to wake up in your other body. Even if you fall asleep again, we will meet again the next time I try to cut your chains again.”

The black sea dragon didnʼt respond, but he kept his eyes on the silvery fish. There he saw him suddenly turn big, holding in his hand a deep red scythe lifted up for him to see. The next moment, a gorgeous glow of silver can be seen. This is a slash that directly targeted the broken chain on his right wrist.

THUD!

This is the sound of a broken chain falling to the ground. The black sea dragon looked at his freed right hand speechless and only heard the delightful and beautiful voice of the gorgeous silver fish, which he couldnʼt take his eyes away from.

Hei Anjing exclaimed, ”Alright! Itʼs cut!”

However, as soon as that part of the chains fell, the backlash of using all of his qi to cut the divine-sealing chain could no longer support his soul form. He started to fade before the eyes of the sea dragon. The black sea dragon tried to reach out his now-freed right hand, but his paws passed through the fading body of his silverfish friend.

Before completely fading, Hei Anjing reached out his pair of hands and held the now-free right paw of the sea dragon. The cold touch was enough for the sea dragon to feel the existence of the silverfish before his eyes.

”We will see each other again soon, Xia~”

Hei Anjing smiled at him while hugging his right paw and said before completely disappearing from the ocean. The black sea dragon tried to catch him, but only a cluster of bubbles was left behind.

ROAR~

The sea dragonʼs cries were full of anxiety and dissatisfaction. But after he howled, he was once again assaulted by sleepiness. The black sea dragon slowly closed his eyes and once again fell into a deep sleep. All it wished was to see that silverfish that brought light into his dark life.

In the Main Cities Hospital...

The monitoring machines around the general started beeping as a new set of heartbeats could be detected.

BEEP~ BEEP~

The Chief Warden Lou Wuye, Warden Yun Ming, who was playing chess on the side table, immediately stood up to check on the general. Zhi Yue had entered sleeping mode as his mind was filled with anxious thoughts making him uncomfortable. The sound in the hospital room woke him up, though.

Even Lieutenant Shaka, who treated himself as air and was still thinking of how he could get his little mermaid to speak with him, was also startled by the unexpected sound of the machines in the room.

Ugh~

The general sleeping on the bed finally opened his eyes, revealing a pair of crimson irises. He can feel a presence leaning on the top of his head and that familiar scent of snow and flowers. He gently grabbed the small thing leaning on his head and saw a sleeping Thumbelina version of his beloved.

He murmurs with a hoarse yet deep voice, ”Jingʼer?”

He sat up with the support of the Chief Warden, his subordinate, and also saw a small-sized Warden Yun Ming at the side table looking worriedly at the other small figure in his hands. Before he could understand everything he heard someone shout which made his sleeping wife frown in his sleep.

Lieutenant Shaka exclaimed in shock, ”General Ye! You are awake!!!”

”Shut up!” responded General Ye Xiajie, who finally woke up after arriving in this world.

The whole process of the God of Destruction trying to wake his lover up had lasted for a whole week, and the former didnʼt even wake up even once to rest. Hei Anjing stayed in his soul domain and finally found his split soul in the ocean.

Of course, he couldnʼt clearly recall what happened in the ocean before he woke up and only looked dazed as he watched his beloved sleeping with peace in his hands. This experience was something a possessive man like him loved the most. The feeling of holding the treasure of your life within your hands is satisfactory. Itʼs just that it worries him at the same time; no matter how much he calls his belovedʼs name, he wouldnʼt wake up at all
