I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1644 22.30 Third Red Star - Impending Disaster

With the soul prison breaking open, those that were imprisoned from ancient times had poured out. The World Eater had been waiting for this moment and started a devouring feast under the sea. The Sea God, upon seeing that things cannot be held back by the broken prison, left everything to the World Eater to solve. He focused on destroying the world instead.

After returning to his throne, the Sea Emperor gathered his officials. Countless marine mammals had gathered in his kingdom. A huge whale, a kraken, a large lobster, a huge stingray, and many others. Each was bigger than a ten-floored building.

The Mermaid Emperor as well as the God of Sea spoke, ”The soul prison is broken. The sea is no longer safe. No, nothing in this world is safe. Proceed with the invasion of the land.”

”As for the reason, announce that the human race had broken the treaty and stole my mermaid egg. My son is supposed to be the king of mermaids. Demand for the culprits and start with invading the nearby lands.”

All the sea creatures in the area lowered their heads and responded, ”As his majesty commands!” That day, the beings of the sea decided to surface from the deep sea and begin their invasion.

---

Meanwhile, in the area where the soul prison is located, a black sea dragon returns to his human form covered with the power of gluttony. Most of the ancient godsʼ souls were devoured by him, and his presence got powerful as he devoured more and increased his strength.

A soul was restrained by him as he sat at some kind of rock formation under the sea. The ancient godʼs soul in his grasp was struggling; however, with the newly empowered An Shizhe, his struggles are nothing.

The black irises of the World Eater peered at the movement of the sea above his head and noticed that something had changed in the ocean.

”Something fun is happening. Moreover, a few of those old things had escaped to the land. It seems I need to go on land,” mumbles An Shizhe.

The soul that materialized with a physical form was now in his grasp and is glaring at the world eater with a death glare. His hatred towards this man is imprinted on his soul, and all other ancient gods are the same.

”You will never have a good end! A menace like you should have never been created! Lord Chaos had gone insane. You...”

Crack!

The World Eater, An Shizhe, broke its neck with emotionless yet smiles full of madness.

”Itʼs truly hard to understand a bug that can speak!” He devoured the being until nothing was left behind. He stood and prepared to leave.

”My other prey on land, I will have fun catching them. There are also those children that are fun to tease.” The World Eater decided to go to the surface that day.

On land, General Ye suddenly received emergency news from the borders of the sea. It seems that the usually still ocean water had suddenly retreated, leaving the soldiers dumbfounded.

At the Generalʼs Mansion, Hei Anjing, who was making some snacks in the kitchen, suddenly looked in the direction of the sea, and the plate of fruits in his hand fell. The sound of something breaking resounds in the kitchen area.

Cracks~

Ye Xiajie, upon hearing the sound of breaking, hurriedly went to find his wife, who seemed dazed while looking at the window.

The God of Void asked worriedly, ”Baby, I heard something breaking. Are you alright?”

He immediately went to his wife and checked on his wifeʼs hands to see if there were any cuts. Fortunately, there are none.

”Baby, whatʼs wrong?” asked Ye Xiajie while hugging his beloved.

Hei Anjing moved his gaze from the window and said to his husband, ”My love, it seems that you will be quite busy.”

”Hm? Have you seen something?” The God of Void asked as he knew that his sweetheart had the ability to peek through the future.

The God of Destruction nodded his head and said, ”The water had started to move. The question now is whether to save or not.”

”What do you want to do, Baby? I will do as you wish,” said General Ye.

The Mermaid King said, ”You do your job for a while. Be careful. There are some beings that shouldnʼt exist that went on land.”

”Do you know what they are?” asked Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjingʼs face turned dark and he said, ”Ghosts of the Ancient Era.”

As if answering the warnings of the Mermaid King, Colonel Lou and Lieutenant Shaka hurriedly looked for the general and found them in the kitchen.

”General, thereʼs an emergency. Please return to the headquarters,” said Colonel Lou.

A frown appeared on the generalʼs face. ”Whatʼs wrong?”

Lieutenant Shaka was not calm, unlike the colonel, and with a pale face, he shouted the reason for urgency.

”The seawater levels had suddenly retreated! On an unimaginable level!!!”

The Mermaid King suggested, ”I advise that you send those near the seashore out of the hundred meters range from the sea and retreat within three days.”

”Is it a tsunami, Lord Hei?” asked Colonel Lou.

Hei Anjing said, ”Yes, a big one controlled by one of the other sea kings ruling the sea.”

”But why... we are a treaty signed between two races!?” questioned Lieutenant Shaka.

The Mermaid King asked, ”I ask you... how are the little mermaids made?”

This question alone will render any human speechless. After all, they arenʼt foolish enough to believe that those artificial little mermaids can be created without any blood or being from the sea itself. The origins of those little mermaids will always be from the sea itself.

Hei Anjing said, ”My love, you should get going. Three days is all you have before the sea water that retreated to fall again.”

”Alright. Do not come out no matter what. Baby, stay at home, alright?” The general said.

The mermaid king responded, ”If you donʼt return within three days, I can only bring you back home myself!”

”I will return,” said Ye Xiajie as he kissed his wifeʼs forehead before taking his leave, followed by Colonel Lou Wuye and Lieutenant Shaka.

Before they left, Lieutenant Shaka turned to look at the mermaid king, who gave him a smile that was obviously fake yet unbelievably gorgeous.

In the Shaka Clanʼs Territory...

They received information about the sudden changes in the sea and how the military didnʼt hide this fact and just urged those within a hundred meters range from the sea to move away within three days. The soldiers were even forcibly taking the civilians who didnʼt want to leave their houses away.

This chaos lasted for the whole three days, and a lot of people were blaming the military for their forceful means. At the hall of the clanʼs mansion, those in power in the Clan of Shaka had gathered.

”According to the spies, General Ye went to the seashore himself.”

”It seems that there is a problem with the sea area, and the water level from the sea had suddenly lowered as if the waters had retreated from the lands.”

”Isnʼt that good? If the water retreated, then the land could expand further.”

”However, the question is, Where did the water retreat to?”

”Any news from our other spies?”

”My son said something about three days ago.”

”Isnʼt your son under General Ye? Doesnʼt he know about Madam Ye?”

Lieutenant Shakaʼs father said, ”He said he canʼt remember anything about Madam Ye when he is outside the Generalʼs Mansion. He can only remember if he is inside the mansion. But...”

”But he canʼt contact anyone inside the generalʼs mansion,” said the clanʼs patriarch. ”Either way, this is a chance. Send someone to intrude in the generalʼs mansion while the general and the colonel are outside.”

”We will do it.”

The Shaka Clan chose to target the Madam Ye hiding at the Generalʼs Mansion. With the general and colonel gone, this is their only chance to find what the identity of the Madam Ye is. What they didnʼt know is that this is the worst plan they will ever make in their life.

Meanwhile at the Royal Palace...

Before the General and Colonel Lou headed the sea borders, they informed the royal clan about the situation. There are only three of them in the throne hall.

His Majesty Nokto asked, ”Had the General and his Colonel left the city and headed to the borders?”

”They left and started sending people hundred meters away from the seashore. What do you think it is?” asked Royal Knight Wolfred to Royal Knight Xion, who is the brain of their team.

Royal Knight Xion had been reading through the reports from the borders, and the more he saw, the deeper his frown was.

He said, ”We should prepare for a disaster. This is an intentional calamity. A huge tsunami nightfall on the land. I just donʼt know what Lord Hei said to the boss for him to make a personal move.”

”The time before the tsunami arrived. The boss needs to come himself. This means the duration is short and there is no time to convince people,” said His Majesty Nokto.

His two husbands thought that their loverʼs words might be the truth.

Royal Knight Wolfred asked, ”What should we do now?”

”Prepare for after-disaster preparations. It seems we need to find a higher ground. This world is heading to its destruction,” said Royal Knight Xion.

His Majesty Nokto sent an order to prepare for a world calamity. The noble families wanted to say otherwise and put down the royal family for scaring the masses. Unfortunately, His Majesty Nokto took a clear stand, and a royal decree was sent to the city. People can only follow his decree.
