I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1635 22.22 Third Red Star - Second Princeʼs Treatment

Hearing the cold voice of the king, the second queen knew that she had crossed the line with her words. The kingʼs bottom line had always been his deceased first wife. The last elf born in the world, Olivia Gaia. Even though she died a few years after Noktoʼs birth, it cannot be denied that the king loved her so much.

The crown prince himself was now in a bad mood after hearing the words the second queen had said as it involved his mother. No one would like to hear people looking down on their own mothers and saying bad things about them. Itʼs an insult that the crown prince would not forgive.

The king spoke to his second queen. ”Second Queen, I hope you donʼt mention my first queen anymore.”

The second queen grits her teeth and agrees to what the king wants. She no longer mentioned the deceased first queen.

”Alright. I will not talk about it anymore. Please save my son instead! Youʼre capable of curing mental illness.”

”You know that my son cannot completely cure mania. It can only control it for a while. You will still need a mermaid to heal it for him,” said the king.

The desperate mother, the second queen, said, ”Itʼs alright. I will find a way to cure him completely. For now, save him.”

The crown prince added, ”The payment I want must be given. Or else your son can rot in hell!”

”You!”

The second queen was about to flare and slap the crown prince, but she was blocked by the two royal knights, Xion and Wolfred. These are the loyal knights of Nokto and donʼt even listen to the commands of the king. Moreover, they are the strongest among the royal knights. Far more powerful than the knights that protect the king.

Royal Knight Wolfred said, ”Stay back. I will cut you down if you take one more step.”

”If you die, your son will just follow you in the afterlife,” said the Royal Knight Xion. Your next read awaits at My Virtual Library Empire

The second queen said, ”Youʼre just damn knights; how can you talk this way to me!? Iʼm the second queen!”

However, the disdain in the eyes of Royal Knight Wolfred and Royal Knight Xion just deepens, and the second queen instinctively feels threatened by their auras. The second queen took a step back in fear.

The king whispered to the second queen. ”Donʼt test those two knights. They donʼt even take me, the king, so seriously. They will truly kill you, and not even your family can do something about them. They are the reason why the military is going easy on the royal family.”

On the other hand, Crown Prince Nokto was angered by how the second queen shouted at his knights, and his face completely turned cold at this moment.

”My condition has changed. Aside from the dead mermaid egg, you kneel down and beg me. I will heal your son only when youʼre down on your knees,” said Crown Prince Nokto.

In the end, the second queen held back her anger as she could see she had completely offended the crown prince this time. Within those calm eyes is not only anger but also murderous intent. This time, she knew that she had crossed the line.

To save her son, the only way to do so is to do as the crown prince wished. The second queen, under everyoneʼs gaze, kneels before the crown prince. She fell on the ground with force and even lowered her head for her sonʼs sake.

”I beg you. Please save my son. I will give you anything you want!” said the second queen, procrastinating before the crown prince.

The crown princeʼs emotionless face and cold eyes remain unmoved, making the servants of the Second Queen and the king, who are seeing his state, stunned and terrified. This was the first time they had seen the crown prince act this way. It was as if he was not looking at the second queen as a living being. It was chilling.

Even the king felt a shiver under that gaze from his son. It was as if, at this moment, the Crown Prince wasnʼt the son he had known all his life. Royal Knight Xion noticed the awkwardness in the hall and intentionally made Crown Prince Nokto realize it.

”Ree,” Royal Knight Xionʼs voice was a bit like a whisper but more like an intentional reminder.

It was at that moment that Crown Prince Noktoʼs cold face faded, and a deep sigh echoed in the hall.

”Send the second prince to my palace before sunset. Donʼt forget to bring what I want,” said the crown prince.

”Royal Father, I am going back.”

The king nodded his head and allowed them to take their leave. Only when the three took their leave did the atmosphere in the hall lighten. The King glanced at the second queen on the ground and finally took his leave as well.

Inside the throne hall, the only ones left behind are the second queen and her servants. As soon as the king and the crown prince were gone, the second queen, who was holding back her anger, exploded. She started shrieking like a crazy woman and even caused some abusive actions towards her servants.

”How dare they do this to me!?”

”If not for my sonʼs sake, I would never kneel down!”

”They made me kneel! So, I will make them lose their lives!”

After the second queen had calmed down, she returned to her clan and told them what happened in the Royal Palace. As expected, the Siegfred Clan agreed to the condition of the crown prince and sent the dead mermaid egg to his palace.

Of course, they also sent the second prince enclosed in a special cave. The crown prince looked at the second prince inside the cage, acting like a madman. He has broken and missing nails scratching the walls of the cage and a blood-covered face due to him banging his head on the walls like a crazy person.

BANG! BANG!

The crown prince looked at his younger brother with a cold look. The second queen sent someone to accompany the second prince. Of course, itʼs someone from the Siegfred Clan, and itʼs quite a powerful man himself.

The second queen wanted to use this man to put some pressure on the crown prince as a bit of payback for making her kneel to the ground. Unfortunately, she picked the wrong person to use intimidation.

The man from the Siegfred Clan was tasked with giving the dead mermaid egg to the Crown Prince. Of course, the order he received was not to give it away so easily.

”The Siegfred Clan had sent me to accompany the second prince and give the material the Crown Prince needed.”

The black mermaid egg with no signs of life appeared on this manʼs hand. Crown Prince Nokto was about to receive the item when the man intentionally let go of the dead egg before it touched the hand of the crown prince.

These intentional actions angered the two royal knights. Royal Knight Xion caught the egg, securing it, while Royal Knight Wolfred kicked the man, who immediately defended against his attack.

BOOM!

The man was unexpectedly still alive with that one kick from Royal Knight Wolfred. Clearly, the person sent by the Siegfred Clan was not an ordinary man. Even with a broken arm, this manʼs face remains composed.

”What a rude knight! That egg falling wasnʼt even my fault. Itʼs your crownʼs fault for being slow,” complained the guard from the Siegfred Clan. ”Anyway, your egg has been delivered. Treat our clanʼs heir!”

Royal Knight Wolfred and Royal Knight Xion were about to beat up the bastard but were stopped by the Crown Prince. The latter went towards the cage, which enclosed the crazy second prince, and used his ability of plant manipulation to cure this manʼs mania. Of course, it only temporarily soothes the second princeʼs mind but does not completely heal his ailments.

Once the power to move plants causes the necessary herbs for calming the soul and mind to grow, their properties are extracted. The extracted product was used on the second prince for cure. The madman inside the cage woke from his insanity mode.

Second Prince Rion looked around as he hissed in pain from his forehead and hands. He seems surprised to wake up seeing the person he hates the most in his life.

He asked, ”What are you doing here, Brother?”

”Look around again and see for yourself where you are,” Crown Prince Nokto said.

The second prince did as he was told and saw that he was currently in the palace of the crown prince. It is a detached small palace in the imperial palace, which is considerably larger than his own place and even much bigger than his sisterʼs palace. This palace was also one of the causes of his envy and jealousy.

Prince Rion mumbles, ”The Crown Princeʼs Palace...?”

The crown prince looked at the man from the Siegfred Clan and said, ”The promise has been fulfilled. The payment had been well deserved.”

”Good work, Crown Prince. Continue to do so in the future and keep serving our clanʼs heir,” said the man from the Siegfred Clan.

Crown Prince Nokto stated, ”Rudeness towards the people of the crown, failing to salute to the crown prince and talking to your superior. Every single sin is punishable by death. Wolfred, Xion killed him!”

”Yes~”

The two Royal Knights attacked the man from the Second Queenʼs clan without mercy. The second prince was confused about what was happening, but he recognized the man from his maternal clan. Hearing what his elder brother had commanded, it was already too late for him to warn his uncleʼs direct subordinate.

Before his eyes, one of the strongest warriors that serve the Siegfred Clan was killed by the two loyal Royal Knights of his brother.

The crown prince ignored the blood and body in front of his palace and commanded the rest of the servants from the Seigfred Clan.

”Clean up the trash and take home your hair. Tsk! What bad luck. My palace had been dirtied,” said the crown prince
