I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1637 22.24 Third Red Star - Reunion

An announcement from the servants guarding the place outside was heard—the crown prince, upon hearing its response almost immediately.

He said, ”Welcome them in!”

With a guide showing them the way, General Ye and Colonel Lou arrived in the receiving area where the crown prince and the two royal knights were waiting for them. The two are wearing casual clothing and intentionally hiding their identities.

If Colonel Lou Wuye had not shown proof of who they were, the guard at the entrance would not have let them in.

Upon seeing the crown prince and the two royal knights seated together at one table and the clear intimacy between the three people, Lou Wuye and Ye Xiajie looked a bit stunned. But compared to the dumbfounded faces of the three upon seeing the two of them, it was obvious that they recognized one another.

A familiar voice was coming from the God of Voidʼs breast pocket.

”I was wondering who the familiar aura I am feeling was, so it was you, trio~”

Hei Anjing lifted his small hand from the breast pocket, and with a snap of his fingers, the whole room was covered in a barrier that only prevented the heavenly laws of this world from peeking but also kept whatever was inside isolated from the outside world.

Two small mermaids jump out from the breast pockets of the two men. Using a water ball as support, they appeared on the table. One is a mermaid with a playful expression on his face and a silver fishtail. The other is a gentle, smiling green-tailed mermaid. These are Hei Anjing and Yun Ming.

The God of Destruction said, ”Yoh! Itʼs been a while, Greene, Lang, and Xiong!”

”Long time no see,” said Yun Ming.

The crown prince who is housing Greeneʼs soul was looking at Hei Anjingʼs size as a little mermaid full of tears. Even Lang and Xiong were so happy to see Lou Wuye and their boss.

”Baobao!! I really miss you. I want to hug you, but you are so small,” said Greene.

Hei Anjing said, ”Donʼt call me baobao. My name is Hei Anjing. Call me Jingjing.”

”Okay. Jingjing!” said Greene. The grin on his face shows how happy he is.

On the other side of the table, the tops had gathered. Lang and Xiong saluted the God of Void, who was once their leader. They finished exchanging hugs with Lou Wuye. But compared to him, they are closer to the God of Void.

”Boss! Long time no see!” said Xiong with a huge grin on his face.

Lang saluted instead, ”Boss, how are you?”

”You guys have done well. Becoming high-ranked gods, you didnʼt waste the opportunity Jingʼer had given you,” said Ye Xiajie.

Lang and Xiong still recalled how they were given spartan training by their master, the Lord God of the God System, Cao Xinsheng. Their faces pale, but they immediately try to forget about it. After all, when they arrived in Vearth, they were the weakest among the gods. Plus, they parachuted directly with their wifeʼs backing, which is Hei Anjing, the God of Destruction.

Thatʼs why after death, despite only reaching Demigod Cultivation, they were allowed to stay in Vearth. The Mo Clan had personally sponsored their stay until they reached the level where they could stay in the inner region of Vearth.

The Sovereign of Life and Death, Mo Baojun, who is also the uncle of Hei Anjing, had taken care of them well after learning they were the friends of his nephew. He even sent their only disciple to train the three of them and help them adjust in Vearth.

It was rather unfortunate that they could not meet Hei Anjing and the rest of them after their ascent. Not only did the couple have so many enemies, but the three were not compatible to work for the Nether System. Only Demon Gods and Evil Gods can work for the new system.

Yun Ming, who used to be a former god in the God system, became an evil one after becoming a prisoner. Thatʼs why he was able to become a warden. But itʼs impossible for Greene and his two husbands, who were born with the Blessing of the Beast World, to gain powers that lean more in righteous ways. Thatʼs why they can only work for the God system.

After the greetings, the group finally gathered at the table. The crown prince had ordered the servants to serve the food. This time, Hei Anjing and Yun Min, as well as Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang, had all returned to their human form.

With this size, the crown prince got what he wanted and got a hug from Hei Anjing and Yun Ming. Though it only lasted less than 30 seconds. He was pulled off by Ye Xiajie, who was so possessive that he wouldnʼt easily let others hug his wife.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Thatʼs enough.”

”Yes, Boss!” said Greene as he stopped hugging his friend.

This reunion is one of a kind. The group enjoyed not only the meal but also the conversation between the group. After finishing their casual meeting, they finally talk about the state of the world.

The Crown Prince asked, ”Jingjing, I heard about your situation. Are you guys alright now?”

”Yes. Everything is alright. Donʼt worry about us. After a few more worlds, our trial will be finished,” said Hei Anjing.

Lang asked, ”Then, about this world, what do you think we should do? Normally, we will only do our job. Either to repair or maintain it. What is your take, boss?”

”My suggestion is for you three to give up this mission. Use our name to remove the failure report to bypass. This star is far more dangerous than the usual worlds youʼve gone through. Right now, the rank of the world isnʼt stated. It might be A-class right now, but it might level up,” said Ye Xiajie.

Xiong, the think tank between the three, understood what their boss was trying to say. This world is now too dangerous for them, even though they are also really godkings. There might be something in this world that might put them in danger.

He asked, ”Boss, is there something in here that can contend against you guys?”

”Yes, there is,” answered Ye Xiajie.

Chief Warden Lou Wuye said, ”You guys heard about the World Eater and the Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan?”

”Hm~ I think Iʼve heard or seen those names somewhere,” said Greene. As for Lang, he was never the type to use his brain and chose to shut up and just listen.

Xiong said, ”Iʼve heard those names recently. Arenʼt they both ancient evil gods? Did they have something to do with this star?”

”There is. The world eater had resurrected. That person doesnʼt listen to anyone other than Hunluan. Also, we are here to take back Hunluanʼs soul fragment. The danger Xia is talking about is not only about the world eater. But some resentment soul of ancient gods locked in this world,” said Hei Anjing.

Greene asked, ”Ancient Gods? Are they that powerful and dangerous?”

”They are,” responded the Chief Warden, Lou Wuye.

Warden Yun Ming added, ”Ancient Gods are stronger than sovereign rulers.”

”WHAT!?”

The three were finally shocked. They knew how powerful a sovereign ruler is. They canʼt even beat a sovereign rulerʼs disciple, much less the bigshot. Now, they are telling them that a being much more powerful than them exists. Wonʼt the world end, including Vearth, if one of those Ancient Gods decides to destroy it?

Greene asked, ”Jingjing, Vearth is alright, right? We havenʼt completely paid our house loan yet!”

Pfft!

Hei Anjing said, ”Silly. Donʼt worry. I donʼt know about the World Eater, but Hunluan wonʼt allow Vearth to be destroyed. Thatʼs where I live, after all.”

Others looked confused as they heard Hei Anjingʼs words. Even the God of Void frowned, as for his reason only he knows. But everyone realizes that Hunluan and Hei Anjing might be more acquainted than they thought.

The silly rabbit god asked, ”Jingjing, are you and Lord Hunluan close? Why do you say he wonʼt allow Vearth to be destroyed just because you live there?”

”Because I will get angry,” answered Hei Anjing.

No one asked further, even though they were bewildered by Hei Anjingʼs answer. They only know that the relationship between the Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan, and the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing, might be an unknown relationship closer than that of a friend.

Meanwhile, at the deepest trench in the ocean. The Sea God was looking down on the area where the black sea dragon used to be chained. Thatʼs the place where the God of Voidʼs sea creature used to stay. Right now, a few cracks have started to appear that the guardian is no longer around.

The cracks on the sea bed get longer, wider, and bigger. If one can get closer to those cracks, one will be able to hear the agonizing cries of unknown beings. A bit of blood started to slip out from the crack as well.

The sea god murmurs, ”It wonʼt take long for the seal to be broken. I need to destroy this world for that to cease to exist.”

The god of the sea disappeared as if melting with the ocean water. Just after he took his leave, someone unexpectedly merged from the shadows of the cliff. It was An Shizhe, the World Eater. He looked at the cracks on the sea floor with emotionless eyes. However, a sly smile and a murderous aura come from him.

”Just a bit more. Come out. Iʼve been waiting for you old bastards to come out. This time, there is no need to seal. I will completely devour you instead!” mumbles the World Eater, An Shizhe.
