I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1648 22.34 Third Red Star - Deprived of Little Mermaids

At the Shaka Clanʼs Mansion,

The warrior called One, after being captured when he had gone insane, was currently being treated by the little mermaid singing. The room he was in was like a little clinic with an aquarium beside the bed, which is now occupied by a few little mermaids singing to him in his sleep. The whole place was covered with the singing and comforting aura that treats mania or mental riot.

”Patriarch, according to the video, except for One, all other mercenaries we had heard had been killed. Though he didnʼt say who killed them, it is most likely the guards left behind in the generalʼs mansion.”

”He definitely saw who Madam Ye is!”

”What the hell are we waiting for? Wake him up!”

”This is the demon generalʼs sole weakness. We can finally fight against him with this knowledge.”

”Wake him up now!”

The mermaid caretaker in the Shaka Clan looked annoyed by this command. He can only whisper a few words of apologies and beg towards the little mermaids under his care. The little mermaids, even though they hate the Shaka Clan family members.

They love this caretaker as well as that one grandma who made them sweets and the noisy uncle who would sometimes come home and bring them toys and snacks. Thatʼs why they are willing to listen to the pleas of their caretaker and sing even more strongly to wake up the human sleeping on the bed.

After the little mermaids were tired of singing, they fell back to the aquarium. But one didnʼt wake up at all. One of the Shaka Clanʼs young masters was annoyed that the little mermaids werenʼt doing their job well and wanted to scold them but was blocked by their caretaker.

”What the hell is this? Why isnʼt he waking up? Are you doing your job well? Sing more!” exclaimed the young master of the Shaka Clan.

The caretaker blocked his path and said, ”Please stop, young master! The little ones had done their best.”

”What kind of servant are you to block your master!? Fuck off!” said the young master as he punched the caretaker, which made the little mermaids angry and splash water on him.

SPLASH!

{Bad. Bad human. Donʼt hurt... Qiqi! Bad… Tell… The king… Bad… Human…}

The broken words of the little mermaids stunned the humans in the clinic, except for the caretaker, whose face turned pale in worry. He longed to know that his babies could speak, but asked them not to, as little mermaids who could talk were rare and it was considered that only the mermaid king was able to do so.

After all, even after it was known that the little mermaids are capable of talking, none revealed it. Some who have trusted their human families converse with them. However, everyone hides this fact, as this proves that the little mermaids are an intelligent race, like how the mermaid king portrays.

”These little guys can speak! Thatʼs great! They can be sold for a higher price!”

Ugh!

The young master tried to reach out his hand to grab a mermaid, only for a ball of water to hit his face and stick to it. This prevents him from breathing, making him suffer what it feels like to drown. The young master tried to remove the water on his face; unfortunately, who is capable of touching water?

The young master reached out to his parents, uncle and patriarch, asking for help, ”S-Save…m-meh~”

His parents tried to remove the water from their sonʼs mouth, but they couldnʼt touch the water. They can only watch as their son drowns before their eyes and cries in shock and fear. Everyone couldnʼt understand why the water would move on its own. Another ball of water flew out from the aquarium and landed on the caretakerʼs swollen face. Under everyoneʼs eyes, his injury healed in just a second.

The terrified little mermaid exclaimed in happiness and said, {King... Kingʼs protection... He is... Always... Watching us...}

The humans in the area couldnʼt believe what they were hearing. How could the mermaid king, who doesnʼt even appear in their house, protect these tiny mermaids? However, their faces were slapped on the spot. As the water in the aquarium where the little mermaids are started moving on its own and floated out. It exploded lightly, leaving a light mist on the aquarium glass, and words appeared on it.

{Humans are forbidden from harming my brothers.}

{I am always watching!}

{Kind human, take my brethren away from this mansion. These humans are no longer deemed to look after my kind. The ones who are worthy would be leaving soon.}

{Go. I will protect you on your way out.}

The caretakerʼs eyes glowed in delight when he saw the words of the mermaid king. He immediately stood up and looked for a small bowl to take away the little ones he had treated as his children. The members of the Shaka Clan donʼt know that the mermaid king can protect them while he is not around, and one of the Shaka Clan members pulled out an energy gun trying to kill the traitorous caretaker.

However, before he could pull the trigger, the waterball from before suddenly froze and cut off his hands, and the gun itself exploded. Those who were near him were affected by the exploded gun and were also injured. Only a few of them were unharmed. The writing on the aquarium changed.

{Deemed unworthy to look after my brethren. You had no say about it.}

{In my presence, what can you do to them?}

The Shaka Clanʼs members were enraged; however, before the absolute strength, they were nothing at all. They can only watch as the caretaker leaves with the little mermaids of their clan. Even though the patriarch

”How can you trespass in our territory?!”

”What the hell are you?”

”Who are you to take away our little mermaids? We paid for them!”

{If I paid for your lives, would you give them to me?}

{To see my brothers as tools, I will also not see you as one of the living.}

{Cool your heads in your house. As long as you donʼt come out, you wonʼt die.}

The aquarium in the room exploded, adding even more injuries to the humans inside the room. After a while, there is a call from the gates, and what happened after the caretaker took his leave with the little mermaid was reported.

Master, it suddenly started raining out of nowhere. The caregiver who had stolen the little mermaids had escaped. The rainwater attacked us as if it were alive. A lot of us suffered from countless cuts; it was as if a raindrop falling above our heads were countless sharp knives falling from the sky. No one can leave the mansion; even using something as a cover is worthless. The rain would fall harder on anyone who tried to use something as a cover.

The face of the Shaka Clanʼs patriarch turned black in anger. He couldnʼt believe something—not a human dares to harm them like this. However, what they didnʼt know was that everything that had happened in the room was exposed by the surveillance camera, which was unknowingly connected to the Starweb and was seen by everyone. Now, almost everyone in the Federation learned that the Shaka Clan wanted to harm the general by exploiting the identity of Madam Ye.

Normally, the masses would be interested in the news about Madam Ye. But if it would put the general in danger, it is better not to be interested in it at all. The Shaka Clan now deserves what is happening to them. Especially after they tried to harm the little mermaids and treat them as tools that can be resold. Reselling little mermaids is forbidden by law.

With the punishment from the mermaid king of house arrest for the whole clan, the people of the federation understood that the level of punishment for those who harm the little mermaids differs depending on how they are treated. Trying to harm one would remove your right to own a little mermaid. If you killed one, you shall be killed, and all those who turned their blind eye to the pain of the little mermaids would also be punished with the death penalty.

Thus, when the patriarch of the Shaka Clan asked for help from the military and royal family, they were almost turned down on the spot. No one answered their phone when they tried to call someone.

The patriarch said, ”How can they ignore us?! Have they forgotten to help us when we are now the ones in need?”

”Patriarch, I think I know why no one is answering our calls. What happened with the little mermaids and the things about Madam Ye were exposed online. The mermaid king might have hacked into our house surveillance and shared it online.”

”Dammit! Weʼve had! Now that we are exposed, the general will definitely pursue what we have done.”

”What should we do now?”

The patriarch looked at One, who is still in a coma, with an evil glance as if finding a way to escape this state.

”Wake him up. As long as he reveals who Madam Ye is, we win. After all, the general has lots of enemies,” said the Patriarch of the Shaka Clan.
