I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1617 22.4 Third Red Star - Not Waking Up

After the soldier left the room, Yun Ming peeked his head out from the Colonelʼs chest pocket and saw that only the three of them were inside.

Warden Yun Ming asked, ”Have all the surveillance cameras in the room turned off?”

”I had the subsystem turned off,” said Lou Wuye.

After hearing his loverʼs reply, Yun Ming, with a palm the size of an adultʼs, climbs out of Colonel Lou Wuyeʼs breast pocket. The only difference is that his little mermaid tail is replaced by a small pair of human legs. He is now like a living doll, but gorgeous and petite.

Yun Ming said, ”Pardon me.”

Mermaid Yun Ming stood above the sleeping generalʼs head and placed his hands above it without touching it directly. He extends his qi to probe into the generalʼs soul domain. Just as he was about to spread his qi in the soul domain, fierce qi pushed him out.

Yun Ming, in reality, suffered a backlash and puke blood. However, he didnʼt open his eyes and continued to pour his qi into the general until the split soul of this man in the sea woke up. A loud, monstrous roar can be heard under the deepest trench of the ocean.

After forcing his qi to slightly heal the injuries in the generalʼs soul domain while ignoring the backlash, Yun Ming with a pale face finally fainted. Colonel Lou caught his fainted lover and immediately pulled out a healing scroll in his personal inventory from Vearth. A golden glow fell on Yun Ming, and his white face slowly turned rosy.

After a few minutes, Yun Ming wakes up. The Colonelʼs worried face finally showed relief and pulled his lover near his face for a hug.

”Thank God! Youʼre alright, Mingʼer!” said Colonel Lou Wuye.

Yun Ming said, ”Donʼt worry, AʼWu. I wasnʼt hurt much. There is no intention to kill from the Lordʼs qi. He might have recognized me, but for some reason, he canʼt wake up.”

”The damage on his soul domain is too big. It might not be his original problem at all, but something this world had given to him. The star we are in is against him.”

Lou Wuye frowned when he heard such a thing. This is the first world that showed such rejection towards his lord. Normally, such rejection isnʼt too powerful. Locking his lord in a body that couldnʼt move too much had happened to him before when he was the Ghost King.

However, this is the first time the world is preventing him from waking up at all. No matter who was the ruler of this place, it can be said his hatred towards the God of Void is too powerful.

Chief Warden Lou Wuye asked, ”What should be done?”

”We need to find a master. He is the only person who can safely enter the lordʼs soul domain and wake him up,” said Yun Ming.

The Chief Warden, as if remembering something, recalled that his lord was supposed to be accompanied by Zhi Yang.

He asked, ”Where is Zhi Yang?”

The pair looked at each other and realized that something big must have happened to Lord Ye after they entered the world. He must have met someone, and Zhi Yang was taken away by that person.

With a serious expression on his face, Yun Ming suggested. ”Letʼs use our subsystem to find Zhi Yue. He is definitely with Master.”

”Alright. I will try!” said the Chief Warden, Lou Wuye.

”Subsystem X, initiate communication request with System Yue,” commanded Lou Wuye.

[Ding! Subsystem X is now online.

[Requesting connection to the Nether System in Vearth.]

[Connection has been approved.]

[Please input your recorded name and occupation.]

”Lou Wuye. Chief Warden.”

[Record has been found.]

[The Subsystem is now connected to the Main Server.]

[Initiating Request Communication Request to System Yue.]

[Request has been approved.]

[Host is now connected to System Yue.]

Ping!

Zhi Yue spoke through the connection: {This connection request, itʼs the Chief Warden, right? }

Lou Wuye shared his thoughts with his lover, Yun Ming, and allowed him to hear the conversation he was having with Zhi Yu.

[Itʼs me. Where are you right now?]

Zhi Yue screamed, {Save me! Lord Hei is about to be sold off as a half-fish!}

The two wardens realized that the God of Destructionʼs situation was similar to Yun Mingʼs. He must have become a little mermaid. The only difference is that Yun Ming was bought by him before they woke up in this body, while the God of Destruction is left in the place where the little mermaids are sold off.

They are actually not worried about the God of Destruction; after all, restrictions are useless to someone as powerful as he is. Thatʼs why Zhi Yue was asking to be saved by them, as he is afraid of dying due to being implicated when the God of Destruction made his move.

The chief warden said, [Give me your coordinates. We are going to pick you up right now.

{We are at the Underground Auction Hall in the Main City Hotel.}

After the connection between the two systems ended, Chief Warden Lou Wuye and Yun Ming left the hospital. He left a puppet to protect the general while they were outside.

As soon as they stepped out of the generalʼs room, the lieutenant appeared before him, trying to convince him again to buy a little mermaid for the general.

The Lieutenant said, ”Colonel Lou, please believe me. The General will definitely wake up once we buy him a little mermaid. I have an invitation for an auction for little mermaids that will happen tonight. We must.”

”Where is the location?” asked Colonel Lou Wuye.

The Lieutenant answers, ”Underground Auction Hall in Main City Hotel!”

The eyes of the chief warden and Yun Ming showed delight. They planned to sneak into this location as they didnʼt have any invitations. Illegal auctions are the hardest to enter without an invitation, as each guest is limited to only one card, which allows only one person to be brought in with them.

Colonel Lou Wuye said, ”Letʼs go. Iʼm going with you.”

”Alright!”

---

Midnight at the Main City Hotel...

Colonel Lou Wuye and the Lieutenant named Shaka arrived at the hotel wearing civilian clothes. The colonel intentionally looked like a bodyguard, while the lieutenant acted like a rich young master.

The kind of young master that is well-known for his wealth. It seems that Shaka is indeed from one of the richest families in the city. His family is even richer than the royal family.

The two approached the hotelʼs reception, and Lieutenant Shaka showed his invitation for the auction hall discreetly.

”Beauties, we want to check in for two~,” said Lieutenant Shaka as he lightly tapped on his auction invitation.

The receptionist remained smiling as she took the invitation to check whether it was real or not. As soon as it showed that it was real, the receptionist rang the bell on the table, calling the staff of the auction hall, pretending to be hotel staff.

A hotel staffer bowed his head towards them and said, ”Esteemed guests, I will personally show you to your presidential suites.”

”Alright. Go stand ahead!” Lieutenant Shaka said.

The two were escorted by the hotel staff in a corner elevator, which was used as a private one for the hotel owner. As soon as the elevator door was closed, the hotel staff passed two half-face masks to Lieutenant Shaka and Colonel Lou.

The guide said, ”I will be your guide to the Underground Auction Hall. Please wear your mask for the secrecy of your identities, and I would like to check if you brought assets. The minimum assets in this auction will be $500 million.”

A card reader was presented before Lieutenant Shaka and Colonel Lou Wuye. Itʼs the kind of tool that only reads the assets and not the personal information of the card owner.

Colonel Lou Wuye was prepared for this and didnʼt believe that this card reader only took information from the card but also the card ownerʼs personal information as well. Thus, they prepared a separate account named to someone random; this is especially true for Colonel Lou Wuye.

However, Lieutenant Shakaʼs family is too famous for their riches. With him arriving at this auction will show that they indeed have enough money.

Lieutenant Shaka still played the role of a young master. ”Alright~ isnʼt it just half a billion?”

He pulled out a card with his familyʼs personal bank crest, and the guide immediately showed a grin.

The guide said, ”So itʼs the young master of the Shaka Clan! There is no need to check the card. Your companion must do so though.”

Lieutenant Shaka shrugged his shoulders and said, ”Do you think I will bring a beggar with me? Whatever, just swipe the card.”

Colonel Lou Wuye didnʼt speak a word and took out a black card. It looks like an ordinary card, but when the card was swiped, the assets deposited on it made the hands of the guide tremble.

”500... 500... 500 Billion!!!” The guide screamed, and it even echoed badly inside the elevator.
