I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1620 22.7 Third Red Star - King of Mermaids

Everyoneʼs thoughts at this moment: ʼA little mermaid that can talk!?ʼ

They were surprised to see a little mermaid capable of speaking like a human being. This is the first of their kind. They all look at Hei Anjing, this silver-tailed little mermaid with greedy eyes, which does not make Hei Anjing feel disgusted by the way he is being gawked upon.

In the private room, Lieutenant Shaka was already running around the room in shock. He thought the little mermaid in the Colonelʼs breast pocket was a strange little mermaid that could talk, but seeing a second one said another thing.

Lieutenant Shaka murmurs, ”Another little mermaid that can speak! Does that mean that the little mermaids can speak human? How come no one has discovered this all this time?”

”Maybe because you see us, little mermaids, as tools to heal your soul domains and not treat us as your equal. Why would we waste our saliva on beings that donʼt see us as mere tools for healing?” said Yun Ming.

This is actually an original thought of the identity he is using. Most little mermaids in this world thought the same thing.

{There is no need to speak. Humans already treat us as tools. If they learn we can communicate, will they experiment on us?}

Because of these collective thoughts, none of the little mermaids dared to speak. Maybe there are some who do, but that is only towards someone who gains their full trust.

These words of Yun Ming were like a hammer hitting the head of Lieutenant Shaka. He fell seated, thinking of the little one at home. Even though he had treated his little mermaid better than the others. One cannot deny the fact that he also treated his little one as a tool.

He would only speak with him at that time. He didnʼt ask if he was hurt or what he wanted to eat. He just provided everything to the guide. He doesnʼt even carry around his little mermaid like how the colonel does. He does seem to be a failure in the eyes of his little mermaid. Someone who cannot be trusted and someone he doesnʼt need to speak with.

Just thinking of this situation made him feel guilty like all the other guests in the auction hall.

On the stage, the humans looking at Hei Anjing with greedy eyes made him look at them with contempt. He is very disgusted with them.

Hei Anjing said, ”Your eyes are disgusting! Making me want to pierce through them~”

His playful words sound terrifying. These words were enough to wake most humans, who are greedy but not bad at heart. There are some who felt even more attracted, as they wanted to have him more.

Even the professor from the backstage appeared with excitement on his face, climbing up with excitement and staring at Hei Anjing like a new subject to experiment on.

The professor said, ”A talking, little mermaid! You cannot be sold! You must return to the laboratory with me!”

He reached out a hand, trying to grab a little mermaid, Hei Anjing. Due to his excitement, the professor didnʼt notice the disdain within that part of the silver eyes. Just a few inches away from Hei Anjing, the extended hand of the professor was suddenly covered with ice. From the tip of his middle finger to his entire hands up to his arms, the moment the ice spread, everyone in the area was shocked.

ARGHHHH~

Hei Anjing watched the professor with a cold face as he slowly turned into a human popsicle.

His sarcastic words echo in the hall: ”Among all the humans Iʼve met, you are the most disgusting among them. You even stole the Mermaid Kingʼs Egg. Once those in the ocean hear what you did, your human race will be over~”

”Ah? You can no longer hear me,” said Hei Anjing. He snapped his finger, and the frozen professor exploded into broken pieces of ice. He no longer existed after the God of Destruction cleaned him up.

AHHH!!!

”HE KILLED HIM!”

The moment the professor was killed, someone within the crowd shouted. The fear that lingers in the auction hall intensified. The staff in the area gathered the guards and pointed guns at Hei Anjing. The host and other staff had long run down the stage.

The guards said, ”Youʼve killed a human! You are not suitable for existing!”

”Oh~ is that so?” asked Hei Anjing.

He once again slapped his fingers, and all the guards that pointed a gun at him ended up the same way as the professor. They turned to ice faster and exploded into pieces afterward.

The God of Destruction once again looks at the humans seated in front of him. This time no one dares to speak, to scream, or even to look at him. The greed was now replaced with horror. Especially for the little mermaid owners who treated their mermaids so badly.

Hei Anjing said, ”A fair reminder~ since I am awake, the little mermaidsʼ inherited abilities will awaken, and those who abuse and torture their little mermaids, I can only say: Good Luck~”

Among the humans, there is someone who is brave enough to ask questions to Hei Anjing. They realized one thing after hearing his words. This outspoken little mermaid must be some kind of high-class mermaid.

”S-Sir, can I... ask something?” A human asked.

Hei Anjing only glanced at him and yawned.

”What is it?”

”Do you little mermaids hate humans like how those sea monsters are?” The human asked.

Hei Anjing wiped his gathering tears from yawning and said, ”If we do, why are you still alive?”

This response was sarcastic but is a clear answer that made the human who asked feel relief.

”However, not all humans are like you who treated your little mermaid as a family. Those who are abused will kill their owners and return to the sea. While those who received their love will now be able to hear their voice. Thatʼs the gift that was given to my kin after I woke up.”

”This situation cannot be avoided. Those who tried to save those who harmed and abused them will also be killed. I have given you a warning, right? Itʼs time for me to clean off the trash among you~” said Hei Anjing.

The moment his words fell, those guests who abused their little mermaids started running. However, the moment they stood up, they instantly became a human popsicle, breaking into countless pieces as well.

Hmp!

”Trying to escape? Thatʼs not possible~,” said Hei Anjing.

The surviving humans realized that this silver-tailed little mermaid was so powerful.

Hei Anjing spoke, ”As for the guests who bought a little mermaid tonight, take care of them well. Either way, once you abuse them, you will be dead anyway.”

With a wave of his hands, the closed clamshells floated around him and said, ”These little ones didnʼt want to get involved with humans and will be sent back to the ocean. But the way, if there is a human that killed a little mermaid, expect my personal visit~ you have been warned.”

Hei Anjing directly teleported to the private room where Lieutenant Shaka and Colonel Lou Wuye were. He suddenly appeared before them making the dormer terrified and hid away from this dangerous little mermaid that appeared out of nowhere.

At this moment, Yun Ming came out of the pocket and bowed down towards Hei Anjing.

”Master, youʼre back,” said Yun Ming.

Hei Anjing nodded at Yun Ming and then glanced at Lieutenant Shaka. He voiced a word with his ʼAuthorityʼ skill.

He said, ”Sleep.”

Lieutenant Shaka fell asleep after he said this word. He fell head first on the couch in such a comical way. Seeing that the only outsider was down, the God of Destruction asked them a question.

”Have you found Xia?” Hei Anjing asked.

The Chief Warden and Warden Yun Ming nod their heads. However, their expressions donʼt look good. Hei Anjing noticed that, and his face turned serious.

The God of Destruction asked, ”Something happened to him?”

”Master, Iʼve checked his soul domain, and its defensive measure was fully activated. I couldnʼt even temporarily wake him up no matter what I did,” said Warden Yun Ming.

Chief Warden Lou Wuye said, ”Zhi Yang had gone missing.”

[WHAT!? TAKEN AWAY!] Zhi Yue exclaimed when he heard that his partner was taken away.

The God of Destruction asked, ”Do you know or have seen who did it?”

”No, Master. We only found his human alter ego in comatose. Our souls had been split in this world. One that lives on land and the other in the ocean. But those who were reborn as little mermaids like us didnʼt get our souls split. Only those who woke up as humans do” said Warden Yun Ming.

Hei Anjing frowned and asked, ”Your split soul in the ocean is a part of you or a different you?”

”It might be the latter. Humans and creatures of the sea in this world are enemies,” said the Chief Warden.

Sigh~

The God of Destruction said, ”For now, bring me to Xiaʼs human form. I will try to wake him up. Zhi Yue, donʼt try to save Zhi Yang on your own. If someone can capture him, then whoever did that is on the same level as us. It is either the soul fragment of Hunluan or... someone else.”

Zhi Yueʼs mood turned depressing at the thought of Zhi Yang being captured but did dare go against the order of the God of Destruction.

[Yes, Lord Hei.]

Hei Anjing comforted him, ”Yang was created using my soul essence as core and also signed a soul contract with me. He wonʼt die unless I do. So donʼt worry, Yue.”

A small moon was crying as he rubbed himself on Hei Anjingʼs face. He was truly afraid that something might happen to Zhi Yang and that he couldnʼt do anything to save him.

While carrying the sleeping Lieutenant Shaka, they replaced themselves with a puppet and took their leave after removing all traces of the scene. It didnʼt take a while before the news of a high-level little mermaid was reported. The military had come over to investigate. They were actually shocked when they watched the recording that night, especially the warning of this intelligent little mermaid and his ability to control ice.

Their thoughts had been centralized on one topic: ʼThe king of Mermaids had woken up.ʼ
