I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1619 22.6 Third Red Star - Auction

After the long wait for the auction to begin, the stage was finally filled with people. First, a huge aquarium covered the whole stage. It wasnʼt completely covered, and all the guests could see a little mermaid swimming around it.

There are also countless sea clamshells closed with a slight gap allowing to meet a pair of eyes in them. Among these clamshells, one with silver color looks the cleanest. However, this shell is completely closed.

The host for tonightʼs auction is a gorgeous lady in a sexy, tight dress that emphasizes her curves and chest and shows off her jade-like legs. The hot-headed youths in the crowd couldnʼt help but stare at this beautiful host.

”Good evening to all of our invited guests! Welcome for tonightʼs auction for little mermaids. These little treasures were recently hatched and each one of them were created from the genes extracted from the mermaid emperor eggs our team possessed.”

”The rarer the color of the mermaid is, the higher the auction base price will be. Common colors are blue, yellow and red. Uncommon colors are green, violet and orange. Rare colors are grey, white, brown and black. Unique colors like gold and silver are the rarest!”

”As you can see, except for silver, we have all the colors. Monotonous ones and dual colored. One with the same tail and eye color and those with different tail and eye colors.”

”Are you excited? Letʼs begin. Let the first mermaid take a swim to our slide~”

A slide connected to the big aquarium appeared and the end of this slide is a slightly smaller aquarium which is closer to the area. Once one of the mermaids falls to the slide, he or she will be auctioned. Food was used as bait at the entrance. Once the mermaid appeared at it, a weak suction would pull them towards the slide and fall out.

As expected, once the food was scattered by the entrance, one mermaid would fall out of the slide and open his or her eyes with countless human eyes on him or her. The first one to fall in was a common blue-tailed mermaid.

Hugging a seaweed in her embrace, she peeks behind the plant in her hand and looks at the humans with a mask before her eyes. She was afraid. After all, the only reason she came out was because she was hungry. Her greed placed her into this isolated bowl aquarium, exposed to countless eyes staring at her with greed in their eyes.

The little mermaid with blue-tails was terrified. But the humans knew their importance and made sure not to frighten her too much. The auction on this place only needs to press a button to show your bet. The increase had also fixed buttons with the lowest being 100,000 and the largest being 1 billion.

The host started once again, ”Our first little mermaid had arrived. She might be a common type, however, like we said, all of the little mermaids today are born from the Mermaid Kingʼs egg. Their bloodline is higher compared to the little mermaids sent out before.”

”The base price for common colored little mermaids is 1 million. Everyone may bid now!”

Suddenly, the large screen on the stage showed the bidderʼs number and their betting price. Colonel Lou Wuyeʼs number is 01, while Lieutenant Shaka is 02. The Second Prince, Rion, is 03 while the first princess, Rose, is 04.

[Bidder 09 bids 1.1 million]

[Bidder 07 bids 1.5 million]

[Bidder 17 bids 2 million]

The host of the auction said, ”2.1 million going at once.”

”...”

”2.1 million going twice.”

”...”

”2.1 million going thrice.”

”...”

”Alright! Our first little mermaid is sold!”

The little mermaids were sold in such a way and the most common and uncommon ones were bought by the First Princess and Second Prince. Some rare ones were bought by the other guests, and even a unique one had been solved, but Guest 01 didnʼt bid for any little mermaid.

Even Guest 02 had bought a unique colored little mermaid, but nothing seems to interest Guest 01 into buying. The staff thought they had offended the VIP guest and taken revenge by not buying anything. Just thinking of such a thing, the guide and the guys who arranged the private room were now pale and nervous.

Now only unopened clam shells were placed on a table, which replaced the bowl aquarium and long aquarium on the stage. There are at least five clamshells on the table with varying shapes and the smallest and ugliest one in the center.

The guests were all staring at the clamshells on the table with confusion in their eyes. They couldnʼt believe that the people at the auction were willing to sell something this ugly to them.

As expected an angry guest shouted at them, ”What the hell are you playing at? Isnʼt that a clamshell bed for the little mermaids? How can you sell used ones!?”

”Thatʼs right! Are you playing with us!?”

”Who the hell will even buy those!?”

The enraged guests were all shouting at the people on the stage. The host and staff were almost trembling under this criticism.

The host said, ”Thatʼs not it! There are little mermaids inside these clamshell beds. Itʼs just that they are too shy to come out and we canʼt open the shell bed no matter what we do.”

”Please believe us! There are truly little mermaids inside these clamshell beds! Someone uses the ultrasound machine on these clamshells.”

A few staff held small ultrasound machines and started using it to check each shell. Though the guests couldnʼt see the color of the little mermaids inside, the moving shape of a little mermaid can be found.

Finally, they tried to use the ultrasound on the smallest and ugliest clamshell on the table and saw a lying little mermaid inside as if sleeping and not moving at all.

The guests whispered to one another.

”Ah! Is that Little Mermaid dead?”

”Oh my~ itʼs not moving?”

”Can that be sold?”

”How ruthless!”

The hosts and the staff were once again sweating badly at this scene. They started shaking and knocking on the clamshell to wake up the little mermaid.

The host said, ”Please donʼt think itʼs dead. Itʼs only sleeping!”

Knock. Knock. Knock.

”Damn! Wake the hell up!?”

---

In the POV of Colonel Lou Wuye and Lieutenant Shaka in the private room during the auction.

Lieutenant Shaka said, ”Colonel, Iʼve bought a few little mermaids for the legion. This way our legionʼs soldiers will not have to suffer much from mental erosion.”

”Good work,” said Colonel Lou Wuye.

His eyes had never left the stage as he was looking for someone. He is looking for that stupid and silly moon that will definitely appear with Lord Hei. As most of the little mermaids were sold, Lieutenant Shaka noticed that the colonel didnʼt even fancy any little mermaids for the general.

Lieutenant Shaka asked, ”Sir, why didnʼt you choose a mermaid for Sire (General)? There are lots of Little Mermaids this time.”

”Nothing was suitable. Most of these Little Mermaids are fragile with weak wills. What would have happened if they met with the Sireʼs suffocating aura?” Colonel Lou Wuye said.

Lieutenant Shaka thought for a moment and said, ”With how fragile the little mermaids are, they might... die under pressure? But is there truly a little mermaid with a strong personality that wonʼt lose to the generalʼs aura?”

”There should be at least one of them,” said Colonel Lou Wuye.

All of the sudden, when the clamshell beds were placed on a long table on the stage, Yun Ming peeked out from his loverʼs shoulder which startled Lieutenant Shaka.

Yun Ming spoke and said, ”AʼWu, the smallest one on the stage. Itʼs the Master. He is definitely the Lord! You must bring him home.”

”Ah! Mph!!”

Colonel Lou Wuye covered Lieutenant Shakaʼs mouth, which was about to scream, and said, ”Donʼt shout. Ask later!”

The poor little lieutenant glanced at Yun Ming, staring at him with gentle eyes, nodding his head like a pecking chicken.

Yun Ming was panicking as they saw the humans on the stage shaking the clamshell with the smallest size. He said, ”Oh my god, what are they doing? Thatʼs the master inside of that shell sleeping!”

”M-Master, you donʼt mean... Leader of the mermaids,” Lieutenant Shaka asked but the two wardens were so focused on the stage that they couldnʼt respond to his questions.

On the stage, System Yue was hovering around hitting the humans trying to shake away Lord Hei. Even though Lord Hei might be mischievous in nature, he is scared if someone forcibly wakes him up, especially in such a rough way of trying to wake him up.

[Ah. Ah! Stop that! Are you insane!? Youʼll be pissed off, Lord Hei! Stop. Stop. Stop!!]

Unfortunately, no one can hear the panic of the little moon system or see the terrified expressions of the two wardens inside the private room. The guests were all intently staring at the ultrasoundʼs result on the huge screen.

At this moment, the small camera on the table beside the ultrasound machine took a record of whatʼs happening on the table. The moment the smallest clamshell slightly opened what met the eyes of everyone in the area was a pair of cold and fierce yet gorgeous silver eyes.

A freezing cold voice echoes in the whole floor saying,

”Who the hell shook me awake so roughly? Do you want to die?” said Hei Anjing, who was holding his head with a huge bump on it.

Everyone who was staring at the camera was dazed. They never expected to meet such a pure silver-colored little mermaid and one that has intelligence such as this one.

Everyoneʼs thoughts at this moment: ʼA little mermaid that can talk!?ʼ
