Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 264: Chapter 241: No Mercy! (2)

But in his current situation, it’s not suitable for him to show up.

Otherwise, the Jalisco Group might very well turn their guns on the local Chinese.

He doesn’t have to care about the life and death of Mexican citizens; after all, it’s their internal conflict.

But he doesn’t want his compatriots to get into trouble because of his fight with the Jalisco Group.

Do not alert the enemy!

That’s currently the most important thing!

After destroying the Jalisco Group’s base in Guerrero, Lu Li first buried a large safe containing over a hundred million US dollars deep underground in a secluded place.

Gaining over a hundred million dollars made him feel quite good.

The only regret Lu Li felt was that after scanning Marco’s and Julio’s memories from the past few days with his Primordial Spirit, he found no trace of Oseguera.

Oseguera seemed to have vanished from the earth.

However, Lu Li didn’t mind too much because he believed that as long as Oseguera was still in Mexico, he would eventually find him and hang him on the cypress tree outside the Tijuana Branch!

Leaving behind a line of writing at the base in Guerrero and the underground base near Mexico City, Lu Li quickly headed to the neighboring Puebla.

Soon, he arrived in Puebla.

It was almost identical to what had happened in Guerrero.

Lu Li effortlessly killed all sixty or seventy people at the base.

He also temporarily spared the leader of the base, using his Primordial Spirit to scan the person’s memories from the past few days.

Unfortunately, there was still no information about Oseguera.

Lu Li wasn’t disappointed at all and continued on to Veracruz.

As time passed, he quietly eliminated more and more of the Jalisco Group’s bases in the south.

Guerrero base destroyed!

Puebla base destroyed!

Veracruz base destroyed!

By this point, Lu Li hadn’t encountered any effective resistance.

It wasn’t until he reached Oaxaca that, after disrupting their communication equipment, he was immediately discovered by a hundred and thirty to forty members of the Jalisco base, who even deployed two main battle tanks and four Ajax armored vehicles to confront him, the sound of cannon fire echoing by the sea.

Unfortunately, Lu Li’s power was too formidable. He directly used white light rays to cut those tanks and armored vehicles into pieces; the remaining hundred or so rifle-wielding men posed no threat and were all slaughtered by him!

It was precisely because of this huge commotion that Lu Li knew he couldn’t be slow any longer, so he accelerated the pace of killing.

Chiapas base destroyed!

Tabasco base destroyed.

Here, Lu Li unexpectedly acquired some high-value antiques.

He also buried them somewhere, planning to dig them out and exchange them for cash after completely destroying the Jalisco Group.

Campeche base destroyed!

Yucatan base destroyed!

In the blink of an eye, Lu Li had already wiped out the Jalisco Group’s bases in eight states in Mexico’s Southern Kyushu.

Now only the base in Quintana Roo remained.

He hovered between the clouds, gazing toward the direction of Quintana Roo.

White light surged around Lu Li, dragging a long tail of light, fiercely charging toward Quintana Roo!

Kill!

Slay all these beasts clean!

...

The Jalisco Group’s higher-ups were still holding a conference call.

Cervantes: ”If he doesn’t show up, we’ll kill ten more civilians and upload it online; let’s see if he appears!”

Carlos, the leader of Michoacán: ”I’ll have someone go and capture ten civilians right away!”

After speaking, Carlos exited the call.

Cervantes: ”If there’s nothing else, let’s end the call for now.”

Arturo, the leader of Quintana Roo: ”Wait, I feel something’s wrong!”

Cervantes: ”What’s wrong?”

Arturo, the leader of Quintana Roo, said gravely, ”Haven’t you noticed that the brothers in Guerrero, Puebla, Oaxaca, and other bases aren’t joining this call?”

Hearing this, Cervantes and the others’ expressions changed dramatically.

Cervantes hurriedly said, ”Arturo, contact those brothers from the bases who aren’t on the call and see what’s happened to them.”

Arturo, the leader of Quintana Roo: ”Okay, I’ll contact them right away...”

Before finishing his sentence, there was a ”beep beep beep” busy signal from the other end of the line!

Cervantes’ heart tightened!

Guzman, the leader of Durango, and Rio, the leader of Querétaro, among other leaders, all turned pale!

Cervantes was furious, yelling into the phone, ”Everyone mobilize, quickly find out what’s happening in Guerrero, Puebla, and Quintana Roo!”

...

Carlos acted incredibly fast.

After hanging up the call, he swiftly had his men capture ten innocent civilians, brutally killed them, and uploaded the video online, threatening that if the Ancestor didn’t appear, he would kill more!

In the hotel, Zhou Jinming and the others saw this latest video.

Zhou Jinming, with a face full of anger, said, ”Damn it! The Jalisco Group doesn’t have a shred of humanity! I must wake up Mr. Lu now and report the situation to him!”

Zhu Fangming, his face also darkened, said, ”These criminals have gone too far! Killing people in the street, it’s utterly inhumane!”

Fu Min, through gritted teeth, exclaimed, ”I really hope Mr. Lu can kill all these bastards!”

A group of people, filled with rage, headed to Lu Li’s room.

...

The civilians watching online were also shouting.

”Oh my God!”

”The Jalisco Group is killing again!”

”Why hasn’t the Ancestor appeared yet?”

”Did provoking the Jalisco Group make him disappear?”

But just then, something unexpected happened.

A nationwide TV station was broadcasting a series when suddenly an emergency news break shocked the entire Mexico!

...

The Jalisco Group was the first to learn the news.

They were even ahead of the news in discovering the tragic situation of the southern base states.

Completely wiped out!

The Southern Kyushu bases were all obliterated!

Cervantes hastily convened another emergency conference call.

Over the phone, he cursed angrily, ”Bastard! Bastard! All our Southern Kyushu bases have been destroyed!”

Carlos, the leader of Michoacán, was utterly shocked, ”I just received a video from the scene, the brothers in Southern Kyushu... were all cut into halves!”

Guzman, the leader of Durango, was so scared his voice trembled, ”It must be the Ancestor! It must be that bastard Ancestor!”

Rio, the leader of Querétaro, said in panic, ”He doesn’t care about civilians’ lives; he’s responding to us with the most brutal means! If this continues, we’ll all be wiped out by him!”

”In just two or three hours, our bases in nine states have been destroyed!”

”This Ancestor guy is too terrifying! Cervantes, should we really continue fighting him?”

”At this rate, we might be next!”

”We didn’t even see him, and nine state bases were destroyed!”

”Cervantes, contact the boss, we can’t go on like this!”

A group of Jalisco Group leaders, after learning the Southern Kyushu bases were destroyed, were all so shocked and horrified they couldn’t suppress it.

Some were even trembling with fear!

How did everyone know it was the Ancestor attacking?

Who else could it be but that bastard!

It was almost identical to the methods used to destroy Mexico City’s base and the Tijuana Branch.

And at every base, just like at the Mexico City base, a line of blood-red writing was left!

This time, the content changed. It no longer demanded they hand over the big boss Oseguera.

Everyone saw, through the on-site images, that horrifying ultimatum.

This ultimatum was much more succinct, just a short line or one English word!

——No Mercy! (Kill without mercy!)
