Chapter 255: Chapter 234: Even Nuclear Weapons Can’t Kill You!?

The B-2 Stealth Bomber, as the ace bomber of the Ugly Country, costs as much as 2.4 billion US Dollars.

Although it is a product of the last century, it remains the most formidable stealth bomber in the world as of now.

Moreover, to date, no other country in the world can ”replicate” it.

Even the Ugly Country itself, due to its high cost, has only twenty-one B-2 stealth bombers in service altogether.

One of them was destroyed in an accident some years ago.

Another also faced an accident, and although it wasn’t destroyed, it has been undergoing repairs for many years and is yet to ”rejoin the team”.

That means, as of now, the Ugly Country only has nineteen B-2 stealth bombers still in service.

Some people might not know how formidable the B-2 stealth bomber is, but anyone familiar with the Afghanistan war surely knows how terrifying this stealth bomber is.

At that time, the Ugly Country dispatched only two B-2 stealth bombers to participate in the Afghanistan war, and they accurately destroyed Afghanistan’s defense and command control systems and other key facilities, clearing the way for subsequent bomber and fighter aircraft formations’ airstrike actions.

But that’s not the scariest part.

The most horrifying aspect of the B-2 Stealth Bomber is that after taking off from Whiteman Air Force Base, it ghosted its way through the Pacific Ocean, South Sea, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Pakistan into Afghanistan’s territory, undergoing multiple aerial refuelings along the way, with a flight duration of up to thirty-eight hours. After clearing the obstacles, the B-2 Stealth Bomber exited the battlefield, flew to the central Indian Ocean’s Diego Garcia Base for landing—one sortie lasting approximately forty-four hours, setting a new record for the longest air combat mission!

It can carry sixteen AGM-129 cruise missiles, or eighty MK82 bombs, or sixteen MK84 general-purpose bombs, or thirty-six CBU-87 cluster bombs. When using the new TSSM long-range attack munitions, it can carry sixteen of them.

When using nuclear weapons, it can carry sixteen B63 nuclear bombs.

Additionally, the AGM-129 cruise missile can also be loaded with nuclear warheads.

Two large bomb bays are laid out side-by-side under the fuselage between the engine compartments.

Each bomb bay can mount eight 908-kilogram class munitions using Boeing-developed advanced rotary launchers, or install two bomb rack units to carry conventional munitions.

The firepower is so fierce it’s unbelievable!

Additionally, its detectable size on radar is only as big as a bird.

Terrifying stealth capabilities!

Extraordinarily long endurance flight capabilities!

And firepower so fierce it leaves people stunned!

It’s imaginable how terrifying a ’war machine’ the B-2 Stealth Bomber is in warfare!

Normally, the internal space of a B-2 Stealth Bomber is cramped, typically equipped with only two crew members.

The main reason is that its internal space utilization is very high, so it appears very compact.

Today, the B-2 stealth bomber being piloted by Mike has five crew members solely because they were training the next generation of ”pilots”.

Furthermore, they hadn’t expected to encounter any ”skirmish”.

In fact, the other B-2 stealth bomber piloted by Jack had only two crew members, a pilot and a co-pilot.

Regardless, originally neither the crew members in Mike’s bomber nor those in Jack’s bomber ever thought there would be a ”skirmish” today.

Or rather, they believed that even if they encountered a ”skirmish”, the fierce firepower of the two B-2 stealth bombers could easily resolve it.

However, at this moment!

But now!

The crew members inside the B-2 stealth bombers piloted by Mike and Jack were all staring dumbfounded at the ”humanoid unidentified flying object” unharmed amidst the flames and dust below!

It’s important to note that Mike had used CBU-87 cluster bombs just now.

This bomb weighs 430 kilograms.

It contains 202 BLE-97 submunitions.

Each submunition can shatter into 300 metal fragments.

This means one cluster bomb can produce over 60,000 lethal fragments, covering an area of approximately 200,000 square meters.

It’s claimed that this weapon can destroy forty tanks.

Yet now, such a terrifying cluster bomb couldn’t do anything to this ”humanoid unidentified flying object” below?

My Fack!

How is this possible?

Mike was so terrified that all the hairs on his body stood on end!

Jack wasn’t any better; he felt a kind of ”coldness” seemingly born from the depths of the soul, spreading toward his entire body!

The remaining crew members collectively gasped in alarm!

Mike’s co-pilot exclaimed in horror, ”What... what is this monster!?”

Indeed.

What is this monster?

Mike, Jack, and all the crew members were all filled with dread.

They wanted to respond to Mike’s co-pilot’s question.

The unfortunate fact is, the situation allows them no time to respond.

Because as the light and dust of the explosion gradually dissipated, Mike, Jack, and the crew members discovered in terror that the target they attacked was now shimmering with a faint white light, accelerating towards Jack’s B-2 stealth bomber, which had assisted in bombing with Mike, with an unbelievable speed!

The speed was simply beyond comprehension!

Before Jack and the co-pilot could react, they felt the aircraft shake intensely.

Then the explosive sound of ”boom” erupted thunderously from the engine’s location.

Immediately afterward, the B-2 stealth bomber piloted by Jack lost control, billowing thick smoke as it plunged directly toward the sea.
