Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 259: Chapter 237: The God of Slaughter Has Arrived

Lu Li was flying closely outside the cockpit of the passenger plane.

His tone as he tapped on the glass to ask ”How do I get to Mexico?”

was as casual as asking an old man on the street for directions.

Of course, to avoid being recognized, he specifically used ”transformation magic” to change his appearance.

That way, even if someone captured his appearance and stature, it would be impossible to know it was him, Lu Li.

Usually, a short-haul flight is staffed with one captain and one co-pilot.

This kind of long international flight that needs to keep flying for twenty or so hours sometimes has three or four pilots.

This international flight was just like that.

Lu Li’s behavior was casual, with a hint of friendliness in his tone.

However, inside the cockpit of this passenger plane heading to the Ugly Country, the two captains and two co-pilots were visibly shocked.

Especially the forty-something white male captain currently piloting the plane, his face was twisted in disbelief, almost as if it was scrunched up.

Lu Li maintained the same speed as the plane outside the cockpit, and he and the captain inside exchanged wide-eyed stares.

Perhaps because the two captains and two co-pilots inside the cockpit were too shocked, they were all dumbfounded and no one responded for a moment.

Seeing no reply from them, Lu Li had to keep asking questions.

”Hey buddy, say something!”

”Hey dude, respond!”

”Do you know or don’t you know how to get to Mexico?”

Each time, Lu Li transmitted the message with his spiritual power.

The white captain currently flying the plane seemed to start to come around, but not quite fully awake.

He dully pointed in a direction and instinctively said, ”That way.”

After discovering the direction to Mexico, Lu Li threw a brilliant smile toward the cockpit, ”Thanks.”

Then he waved his hand and with a ”zoom,” briskly flew toward the direction the pilot indicated.

Inside the cockpit.

The two captains and two co-pilots were still in a state of shock.

After a little while.

The white captain who had just given directions to Lu Li suddenly cursed, ”My Fack!?”

Immediately, the other three, who were also in shock, snapped out of it and started exclaiming.

”My God!”

”Wasn’t that just an illusion?”

”Did someone...fly outside our cockpit and ask for directions?”

The four of them only belatedly realized they were almost scared unconscious.

They really couldn’t believe it, that a person could freely fly at high altitudes.

And! The speed of his flight was no less than that of their international flight!

This was freaking terrifying!

The white captain flying the plane went pale, then trembled as he reported the incident to the ground control center in New York, ”Calling ground, calling ground, this is United Airlines 7781.”

”Ground here, go ahead,” a female voice replied.

The white captain, filled with fear, said, ”We just encountered an Oriental young man in the sky asking us how to get to Mexico.”

And then...

Hmm, the control center absolutely did not believe the white captain’s nonsense.

They even questioned whether he was on drugs with impaired judgment.

And they said that once the plane landed, he would definitely have to undergo drug testing.

The white captain was so frustrated he could cough up blood, thinking to himself, every word I said was fucking true!

...

A few hours later.

Lu Li finally, relying on the white captain’s directions, smoothly arrived in Mexico.

Because Gu Wei had previously mentioned the approximate monitoring range of air defense radar.

When entering Mexican airspace, Lu Li flew at extremely low altitudes and really didn’t run into any problems.

He couldn’t help but silently exclaim how important Gu Wei’s information was.

Otherwise, not knowing anything and intruding into Mexico’s air defense area, he would certainly have encountered various fierce fire attacks.

As a result, he avoided an unnecessary battle.

Fortunately, he had previously engaged with two stealth bombers.

Otherwise, he definitely wouldn’t have considered the air defense area issue.

Thus, intruding into their air defense area.

The firepower he encountered might have been even more intense than those two stealth bombers.

Lu Li mused for a moment, then immediately took out his phone to contact Zhou Jinming.

Hmm, his phone had international roaming service enabled.

Although the rates abroad were higher, at the very least, he could communicate with others.

Zhou Jinming seemed to have already received information from Gu Wei and was waiting early in Mexico City.

Lu Li followed the address provided to head directly to the hotel in the center of Mexico City.

Soon, he arrived at the hotel.

Zhou Jinming had already brought a group to wait outside the hotel.

Mexico’s time is fourteen hours behind Huaxia’s.

Lu Li had been flying for about eighteen hours by then.

That’s why it was now about 1 p.m. in this place.

When Zhou Jinming and seven or eight others saw Lu Li appear at the hotel entrance, they immediately surrounded him, each looking shocked as they spoke.

”Mr. Lu, President Gu said you flew over all the way from Huaxia?”

”Damn, you flew from Huaxia to Mexico in just a dozen hours? What kind of flight speed is that!”

”It’s almost as fast as an international flight!”

The group exclaimed in surprise over there.

On regular occasions, Lu Li would definitely enjoy this kind of flattery from people.

But he had been flying for dozens of hours, and his anger still hadn’t subsided.

He just wanted to quickly find the hiding place of the Jalisco Group; he had no mood to listen to flattery.

As he walked inside, he said expressionlessly, ”Old Zhou, Old Gu should have told you the purpose of my visit this time, right?”

Zhou Jinming quickly followed, speaking in a slightly ingratiating tone, ”He did, I’ve got people to collect almost all the information on the Jalisco Group, like which cities they’re spread across and the firepower of those bases, the data is all in the room upstairs.”

Lu Li was quite satisfied with the way he handled things, and nodded slightly with a polite remark, ”Thank you.”

Even though it was just a simple polite phrase, Zhou Jinming was flattered and said, ”It’s nothing, it’s my honor to work for you.”

It’s no wonder Zhou Jinming acted that way, having witnessed Lu Li’s incredible power in Tijuana last time, he had long admired him to the point of worship, regarding him as a deity, and naturally felt flattered because of this.

It wasn’t just Zhou Jinming.

The few people following behind also looked at Lu Li with eyes full of admiration.

In the hearts of this group, Lu Li was nothing short of god-like!

Most importantly, this was just the emotion generated from a brief glimpse last time.

In fact, they had no idea that Lu Li had done even more earth-shattering things on his way to Mexico.

Otherwise, they might have all turned into ”fanatics.”

A group of people gathered around Lu Li and proceeded upstairs.

Inside the room.

As soon as they entered, Zhou Jinming placed the thick stack of collected information on the coffee table in front of the sofa where Lu Li sat.

Zhou Jinming respectfully said, ”All the information on the Jalisco Group’s bases is here, not a single one missed.”

Lu Li casually flipped through the information and asked, ”Do we know where the hostages are?”

Zhou Jinming quickly replied, ”Yes, it’s clearly recorded on the first page, not too far from here, it takes just two hours to drive there.”

Lu Li nodded, ”Tonight I’ll rescue the hostages first, then I’ll uproot the entire Jalisco Group!”

He said this with a calm demeanor.

In fact, Zhou Jinming and the others present could hear the determination in his words.

Zhou Jinming and others thought to themselves: The Jalisco Group is really courting death, daring to provoke Mr. Lu, such a terrifying god of death.

They had every reason to believe that if Lu Li dared to make such a statement, the downfall of the Jalisco Group might be imminent!

...

On the other side, in the basement.

The head of the Jalisco Group, Oseguera, was seated in a secret room.

He leaned on the sofa, making a call, ”That person still hasn’t shown up?”

From the other end, the voice of the group’s second-in-command, Cervantes, came through, ”No movement for now.”

Oseguera snorted lightly, ”No matter what, drag him out, remember, I want him alive!”

Cervantes replied, ”Okay, boss. By the way, where are you? There are many things in the group that require your personal orders.”

Oseguera didn’t answer this question, repeating his previous words, ”Remember what I said, you must capture him alive, this is crucial, make sure you remember, got it?”

Cervantes replied, ”Yes.”

Oseguera continued issuing orders, ”As long as he doesn’t show up, kill one person every day using the most brutal means, and spread it through the media. Let’s see if he can sit still!”

Cervantes responded, ”I know what to do, don’t worry.”

After hanging up the phone, Oseguera looked at the specially made anti-tracking phone in his hand, his expression turning grave.

He was obviously aware of how terrifying the creature that destroyed the Tijuana Branch was.

This was an existence capable of splitting an armored vehicle in half.

Moreover, according to reports from the Ugly Country, military satellites captured images proving it was indeed a ”person” who destroyed the Tijuana Branch.

This meant that the individual single-handedly took down two Apaches, three main battle tanks, and five armored vehicles.

Oseguera was no fool.

He knew that such a creature possessed incredible and unbelievable abilities.

If he knew where it was hiding, absolutely no one would be able to stop it.

So, after issuing provocations in news,

for personal safety.

He immediately found a secret place to hide.

He didn’t even inform his confidants of his location to prevent betrayal.

Actually, Oseguera did not want to confront such a ”creature.”

But his financial backer in the Ugly Country, having witnessed the creature’s divine power, was desperate to capture it for research and potentially create super soldiers from it, hence, issued an order, demanding he spare no effort in capturing it alive.

For this reason, his financial backer from the Ugly Country even sent a batch of the world’s most advanced single-soldier combat equipment to Oseguera, fully equipping his members, preparing to capture the creature alive with fierce firepower and some special chemical drugs when it appears.

”If you are smart, it’s better not to show up, otherwise...”

Oseguera grinned maliciously, ”Otherwise, I will make you regret your previous actions!”

At the moment, hiding in secrecy, he was not at all worried about being found.

He even felt a bit smug, thinking it was time for revenge!

Unfortunately, Oseguera was completely unaware that next, he would not be facing a mere creature, but a true ”ancestor deity”!

What Oseguera didn’t realize was that, at this moment, that ”ancestor deity killer” had already arrived within Mexico and had mastered nearly all the locations of the Jalisco Group’s branches!
