Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 256: Chapter 234: Even Nuclear Weapons Can’t Kill You!? (2)

”It’s over! The power system is damaged, the bomber is going to crash into the sea!”

This was almost the unanimous last thought of Jack and his co-pilot before their demise.

In the next moment, their vision went black, and they completely lost consciousness!

To be honest, Jack and his co-pilot died without ever knowing how the B-2 stealth bomber they were piloting was destroyed; one could say they died with unfulfilled wishes.

Jack and his co-pilot didn’t understand what was going on.

However, Mike and the other four crew members saw it clearly!

They only saw the humanoid UFO below, like Captain Marvel in a Marvel movie, rushing out of the rolling thick smoke and intense light created by cluster bomb explosions, dragging a long tail of light, and crashing fiercely into the fuselage of the B-2 stealth bomber Jack was piloting, piercing it and creating an enormous hole, then ascending to hover at ten thousand meters high!

This shocking scene was more magnificent than a sci-fi movie!

Mike was so scared that his hairs stood on end, seemingly exploding!

The remaining four all gaped, extreme shock and fear on their faces.

Terror flowed within Mike and the other four crew members’ bodies.

They felt like they were falling into the abyss of Hell.

It was because the terror was overwhelming.

They didn’t have the heart to mourn for Jack and the co-pilot at this moment.

Nor were they angry over losing a priceless B-2 stealth bomber worth 2.4 billion US Dollars.

”Oh God!”

”How can such a terrifying monster exist in this world?”

”Great Jesus! Please tell me, is what I’m seeing real?”

The crew’s fear drove them to pray to ”God,” illustrating just how terrified they were!

As the world’s most formidable stealth bomber, over the past twenty-six years, the B-2 stealth bomber has participated in four major wars.

Namely the Kosovo War, the Afghanistan War, the Iraq War, and the Libya War.

In these four major wars, the B-2 stealth bomber was undefeated.

The only one scrapped was due to its own reasons.

As a ”Dugu Qiubai” existence, the B-2 experienced several large-scale wars unscathed.

Yet now, it was lost to a humanoid UFO!

This is undoubtedly shocking and unbelievable!

Because of this, those crew members felt as if a ”myth shattered,” causing such shock and fear.

Although Mike was equally terrified, he was an experienced pilot after all.

He immediately realized that they absolutely could not let this humanoid UFO get close.

Otherwise, no matter how powerful the B-2 stealth bomber was, it would be shattered to pieces upon collision.

The B-2 stealth bomber Jack flew just now proved this point well.

So, Mike immediately accelerated to the extreme, shooting towards the high-altitude cloud layers.

In an instant, the B-2 stealth bomber’s speed reached a terrifying 0.95 Mach, quickly leaving the humanoid UFO behind.

At the same time, Mike used the targeting system to lock onto the rapidly flying humanoid UFO following behind.

”Shit! You can go to Hell!”

Mike cursed resolutely with a determined gaze.

Then, without hesitation, he launched the AGM-129 cruise missile equipped with a thermonuclear warhead.

Normally, the AGM-129 cruise missile on a B-2 stealth bomber can carry a thermonuclear warhead with a maximum yield of 200,000 tons of TNT.

But this time, they were on a patrol, not expecting an ”encounter”...

No, it should now be called an ”annihilation.”

So, the thermonuclear warhead they carried had a relatively small yield, only five kilotons of TNT.

Although this thermonuclear warhead’s explosive power only reaches five kilotons of TNT, it could destroy a small town in an instant.

In reality, widespread destructive power is one thing.

The main thing is, a thermonuclear explosion generates tens of millions of degrees of heat.

Such extraordinarily high temperatures can be resisted by nothing but some special cosmic substances.

We can say that any matter exposed to this heat would instantly melt away into the ether!

Mike had every reason to believe that as long as they could strike that humanoid UFO, they would definitely melt it away!

Not only did Mike think this way, but so did the other four crew members.

When the AGM-129 cruise missile carrying the thermonuclear warhead was launched,

everyone watched nervously, wanting to know if they could destroy that humanoid UFO.

Perhaps that humanoid unidentified flying object also knew the AGM-129 cruise missile was equipped with a thermonuclear warhead.

As the missile launched, it dived rapidly towards the ocean.

Unfortunately, the humanoid unidentified creature was already locked on.

The AGM-129 cruise missile followed closely, shadowing the humanoid UFO, and directly collided with the sea surface.

Boom!

A violent explosion sound echoed fiercely from the ocean.

Immediately, a white light soared into the sky.

Accompanied by a huge mushroom cloud-like dust rising continuously.

The sky above the explosion area trembled and distorted.

The space seemed to crack, rolling and roaring.

The intense light was as dazzling as hundreds of suns reflecting off each other.

The temperature soared to the extreme in an instant, terrifyingly hot.

The sky, mid-air, ocean—everything illuminated by the light vaporized instantly!

Even the air was filled with endless high temperatures.

If someone were to take a deep breath closely at this moment, they would surely burn their lungs!

The high temperature rampaged crazily, devouring everything!

The seawater was instantly evaporated by the intense light into steam, white mist filling the world.

This wasn’t the end; as the instant high temperature receded, a terrifying shockwave rose, crazily impacting in a spherical shape around.

The ocean seemed to shake!

Countless streams of seawater were flung high into the sky.

But these massive columns of water had no time to properly unfold before being shattered into dust by the terrifying shockwave and pressed back down!

Luckily, this situation didn’t last long.

Soon, calm was restored all around.

However, the sea level in the explosion area seemed to drop significantly at that moment.

It showed just how terrifyingly powerful the explosion of the thermonuclear warhead was.

Fortunately, the explosion area was relatively small.

The surrounding seawater swiftly filled up.

Extinguishing all effects in the vast waves.

”Destroyed!”

”Finally destroyed the monster!”

”Haha, we won! We defeated this terrifying monster!”

In the cabin, a group of crew members was so excited, tears came to their eyes, unable to contain their emotions and cheered.

They had really withstood too much pressure before, fearing that they would be attacked and destroyed by the monster just like the B-2 stealth bomber piloted by Jack.

Now, seeing the AGM-129 cruise missile with its thermonuclear warhead hitting the sea level, the explosion unleashed incomparable destructive power.

They naturally thought the humanoid UFO had already melted and vanished with the explosion of the thermonuclear warhead.

Understandably, one by one they were overjoyed to the point of tears, cheering in near ecstasy.

Including Mike, the seasoned pilot, who at this moment also had joyful tears in his eyes, wanting to celebrate with the other four and additionally declare that they had avenged Jack and another comrade!

However, Mike hadn’t yet had time to turn around and celebrate with everyone.

The other four had only just let out a cheer.

The scene that terrified them to the core suddenly appeared before their eyes!

The once-calm sea surface below suddenly seemed to be impacted by some tremendous force, abruptly surging towards the sky, forming an enormous water column.

And within the water column, a figure glowing faintly with white light was riding the wind and breaking the waves, unstoppable, rushing towards the B-2 stealth bomber they were in!

At the same time, Mike and the four crew members finally saw clearly what the humanoid UFO really was.

It was a person!

A human who was surrounded by a faint white light within a radius of six meters!

Seeing this, Mike and the four crew members were so shocked they almost lost their souls.

At this moment, there was only one thought in their hearts, terrifying beyond belief—

This... how is this possible!

Nuclear weapons couldn’t even kill you!?
