Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1261: Chapter 38: Wild Plan_2

They are calling this troop.

Fatty strides towards the command center.

The warriors surrounding the command center silently made way for him. All eyes are focused on this Fatty, who also has Chuckna blood!

This Fatty is not the commander of this unit, not the person giving orders. Yet, he has silently become the core of this force, the spiritual pillar of this troop along the way! As long as everyone sees him wandering aimlessly, they feel at ease, they feel grounded!

Fatty passed through two tall red broad-leaved trees unique to Canglang Star, came out of the crowd, and walked towards the center of the crowd where the command post was.

”General!” a hurried shout came.

Fatty turned his head at the sound. He found that Nash, Li Weiguo, and other Chuckna officers who shared hardships with him initially were looking at him with expectant and complicated expressions, appearing to have something to say but holding back.

Fatty knows what they want to say even if they don’t speak. He just solemnly nodded at them and walked towards the command center. War is not a reason to wield knives at civilians, absolutely not! The executioner who issued this order must be sent to the gallows! If such a crime can lie in bed and die peacefully, it would be a disgrace to the entire human world!

”Bang!”

Just as he entered the Command Mecha, Fatty heard a huge noise. Like an angry lion, Old Marshal Li Cunxin threw the lever in his hand onto the metal floor, his eyes red as he roared: ”Fight, what’s there to discuss, fight! Even if I lose my life here today, fighting these two divisions, this battle must be fought! If we don’t fight, I have no face to meet my ancestors!”

”General Tian...” Seeing Fatty coming over, the Chuckna staff surrounding the electronic sand table saluted.

Seeing Fatty, Pei Litong and Balmer, both with faces ashen, simultaneously nodded at him. Pei Litong turned to Li Cunxin and said, ”Marshal, we definitely need to fight; if we remain still, the enemy will further massacre our people, we understand all this. But the problem is, how exactly should we fight this battle now!”

In the command center, there was silence. Even the little kid who was always fearless crouched on the side platform of the electronic sand table, tightening his little face. Li Cunxin’s heavy breathing was like bellows.

Everyone knew that dozens of Jiepeng divisions were flooding the Northern Mountain Region from all sides, clearly with great effort. This is a real war, not a strategy game where a troop can be moved with a wave of a hand. To mobilize troops requires logistics, transportation, troop assembly, and preparations before battle... Deploying an Armored Division is almost as much work as relocating a small city.

And this time, not only did the Jiepeng people, within just two days, bring together dozens of divisions scattered across different regions to encircle the Northern Mountain Region, they also dared to commit large-scale massacres to implement scorched-earth tactics against towns in the Northern Mountain Region, provoking and angering resistance forces, demonstrating their great determination.

The transportation, resources, and workload involved in this are astronomical.

Under such circumstances, if we lose our minds due to civilians being slaughtered, what awaits these two divisions is utter destruction. Not only can we not avenge, but we will also lose ourselves. This is precisely what the Jiepeng people want to see.

In the silence, Li Cunxin rolled his eyes and asked Fatty: ”Fatty, do you have any ideas?!”

”Yes!” Fatty said bluntly.

He strode to the electronic sand table, drew a circle above the sand table with his hand, and said to everyone: ”The Northern Mountain Region is vast with complex terrain; if we want to avoid contact with the enemy, we can hide here for at least a month! Even if they catch our tail, they can’t completely grasp our main force. The enemy’s move is to force us out!”

”Since they want us to come out, let’s go out!” After setting the tone, Fatty pointed to Beiguan City, the largest city in the Northern Mountain Region, with his finger and said: ”According to intelligence, the enemy’s headquarters is Beiguan City. At least ten Armored Divisions and ten Infantry Divisions are assembled and transferred through Beiguan City’s airport; this is the gateway from the Northern Mountain Region to the outside world. Since we are going to fight, my opinion is to play big, let’s engage in a mutual penetration with the enemy and hit their headquarters!”

As soon as Fatty finished speaking, a ”buzz” was heard, and the entire command center became noisy.

Everyone wants revenge, but it doesn’t mean everyone has lost their minds. Pei Litong, Balmer, and other senior generals looked at each other, feeling that Fatty’s proposal was simply a daydream, while some staff couldn’t help but start discussing.

”How is this possible...” a Major Staff shouted directly: ”Beiguan City is a military town, not to mention our two divisions, even twenty Armored Divisions can’t take it down!”

”Right, all of the enemy’s transportation and assembling is near Beiguan City,” another staff member said: ”The surrounding area is tightly encircled like a steel barrel, don’t even say attacking the urban area of Beiguan City, it’s impossible to break through the enemy’s outer defenses. Besides, SkyNet is controlled by the Jiepeng people now, mutual penetration in such a dense area is impossible to succeed!”

”Even if mutual penetration succeeds, getting in won’t work!” a Lieutenant Colonel said resolutely: ”Beiguan City originally has two Armored Divisions stationed, the military base is close to our side, surrounded by newly built fortifications. We can’t avoid that area if we penetrate, getting trapped is a dead end! I suggest just fighting around, kill as many as we can!”
